The Sexlab install guides are not clear enough

I've sorted my issue out, but it took some fiddling. I think I was hasty in my first post, the instructions were confusing, but eventually I got it. It's less about the existing instruction not being clear, and more to do with them being all over the place. You have to go to quite a few different pages to find all the instructions, and that can seem like a huge problem to new people (it was for me at first). The spread out instructions and little missing details (nothing impossible to work out, but still not there) make the whole exercise feel much mor difficult than it is.

That's hard to prevent without limiting player choice. Some people use UNP, some people use CBBE. Some people use TBBP, some people use '360 walk with BBP'. Some use 4udik, some use better males, some use SoS.

You can't make installation instructions as you suggest without forcing people to only install one type of mod which they might not prefare out of a list. if you'd try, you'd probably end up with really confusing installation instructions with conflicting stages.

A single set of "recommended install" instructions wouldn't hurt and may help some, which just explained SexLab + XPMS + UNPB + 4udik's, then let people spread out into their own preferences for bodies and figure those out for themselves. I wouldn't consider writing such a guide a high priority compared to many of the other SexLab related things on my plate however, because as stated; those mods all have their own individual in depth install guides already.

I agree that they wouldn't hurt but considering I just got back into pc gaming and am still new to modding my games, skyrim and the sexlab mods being the first, I found installing most of the basic sexlab mods and "recommended" mods easy enough. I mean my number one suggestion/instruction I can give is since XPMS, UNPB ,though I prefer CB++, and 4uDIKs are all downloadable with NMM my number one recommendation is if you don't know what your doing use NMM. Preferably I would choose to manually install but if you don't know what your doing it is best to let a system designed for installing this stuff do the work until you figure out what your doing.

Also with the exception of XPMS and SoS I manually installed all my mods. Though most of them came from here and I still haven't found a way to have NMM install them although I see people talking about it that makes me think it can?

If you find the downloaded mod archive file, right click on it, and select "Open with ..." and then "Nexus Mod Manager," it should load the mod into NMM.  You can then use it to install and uninstall the mod just as if it had been downloaded from the Nexus.

Some of the mod information will probably be missing in NMM, like the version and author, but a lot of mods here have that listed in the file name anyway.

At least, that works for me.  And it makes things a bit easier, faster, and safer in case you don't really know what you're doing yet.
