FNIS is not working

I am setting up mods on another computer and FNIS is not dumping the FNIS data mod into vortex. Why is it not working?

Anyhow, what do you mean "dumping"? Vortex may be different but as far as I know you never have FNIS "dump" itself into vortex, like you described. At least version 7.6 can be installed like any other mod. No "dumping" required.

The FNIS mod is either not saving or creating the FNIS data

Posting the FNIS log of what is happening would help

 

Assuming you have deployed in Vortex you can go Where you installed steam \steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition\Data\tools\GenerateFNIS_for_Users and run the FNIS GenerateFNISforUsers.exe from there as running FNIS from within Vortex is not required

 

Doing that will show you whether FNIS itself will run

I don't understand what your problem is but I'll try give some pointers.

 

You are using SE, not LE?

 

Check in meshes\actors\character\behaviors to see if the behavior files are actually getting created.

 

Well, what has this got to do with Vortex? I don't use Vortex but what does that have to do with behavior files? Vortex shouldn't care about behavior files, should it?

Im on SE and I mentioned vortex out of habit, I’m checking the files rn

The files are here, but the mod isn't there on Vortex and the animations don’t work when I put on DD items to test the animations, the do you want to equip this tab does not pop up

How the fuck do you expect anyone to help when it is impossible to understand what the problem is?

Learn how to get your FNIS output and paste it it here instead of the useless screenshots from your phone.

What data are you expecting exactly? Why are you expecting it in Vortex? Have you bothered to search for tutorials on how to set up and use FNIS with Vortex?

Does Vortex have an option to have a tool place all the files it creates in a specific mod, like MO2 does? I get the feeling that's whats going on here. I suppose its a bit late now though since all FNIS generated files are already scattered around the data directory (or some override -equivalent directory if Vortex has one).
