Converting armour and/or clothing from Skyrim SE to Skyrim LE

Herewith, I am going to illustrate the process for converting armour and/or clothing from Skyrim SE to Skyrim LE

 

Required :
Paint.Net   Paint.net
CAO ( Chatedral Assets Optimizer)  CAO
Ordenador  Ordenador

The mod to be converted, preferably with your Bodyslide . This will make the process easier, allowing you to reshape at will

 

Process

 

Obtain the mod to convert  DOAXVV Dark Prison 3BA  

Extrat zip, delete zip

Launch CAO with this setting

Click on Open Directory and import mod folder , click on Run . Wait for the end of the process . Depending on the size of the mod , it may take several minutes .

All nifs are converted as follows

 

Open the textures folder, open DDS with Paint.net , Without further modification , CTRL+SHIFT+S , save with on-screen settings

Repeat the process for ALL DDS

 

Launch Ordenator with on-screen settings, from the folder icon, load mod textures , Click on Run, wait for the end of the process

Close the program, the mod is converted.  

 

Here you have 2 options.
1) Re-zip and install it with your ModManager.
2) Copy/Drop into Skyrim Data, activate ESP
