Human Resources: Alternative Enslavement Method

View File

Long story short, this is exactly like Nuka World "Collaring Outside the Lines" side quest but instead of enslaving the NPC for one of the gang leaders, you will do it for yourself.

This add-on is intended for friendly NPCs, like settlers, scavengers, DC residents, (Commonwealth Captives)..., so you don't have to beat them into submission for no reason.

How to get started:

  • To start the enslaving mod, you need to built an enslavement Crop (chem lab just under the enslavement baton). Do not equip it until you are near your victim(s).
  • When you are close enough to an NPC(s), equip the crop and smack your victim with it (preferably on the butt). The dialogue (voiced) should start automatically if not, just press "E".
  • If you enslave an NPC in public, everyone will turn hostile on you, so lure your victim away beforehand (via dialogue option) in order to avoid unnecessary bloodshed.
  • You can enslave up to 10 NPCs without having to unequip/equip the crop.
  • If an NPC doesn't start the dialogue, it means that he/she was far away from you (>1000) when you first equipped the crop (just unequip/equip again).
  • After you finish, it is advised to unequip the crop to stop the enslaving mod.

wich mod do you recomend for slaving hostile npc's such as gunners, raiders, etc?

this mod requires human ressource, a slavery mod, to enslave hostile npc, human ressource requires you to have AAF Violate or knockout framework (imho use violate), once the ennemy submit in combat you use HR to enslave them, heres a link

Thanks for this mod.  Question for you.  I cant seem to get the dialog to always trigger.  Most times i will have to repeatedly hit them, try to talk, unequip re-equip the crop, all of this many times just to get the dialogue to happen instead of their normal dialogue.  This is always when i am right near them, so it is not about equipping it when not close enough.  Makes the trick them option impossible to do.  If i get the dialogue and get them to follow me somewhere.  Its super difficult to get the dialogue again once we have arrived in a hidden spot.

Also, the dialogue never triggers automatically after hitting, I always have to try and talk to them to hope to get it. Any idea why that is happening?

Would it be possible to create a quick and dirty version that just immediately triggers the enslavement when you hit them, without the dialogue?  Or could you direct me to what i can change in the esp to try and make that change myself?

Thanks for your work and contribution by the way :)

:classic_happy: That's a very useful extension to HR.

Now I can roam the commonwealth and "convince" more settlers to come to my settlements. ?

The enslavement crop isn't showing in the crafting menu for me

It's not showing up for me either.  I checked the chem station under Human Resources but no Enslavement Crop is listed. I checked in Vortex and it's missing Masters:  Knockout Framework.esm, RSE_II_Resources.esm, and RSE_II_WastelandersRash.esp.  I thought all you needed was Human Resources?

UPDATE:  I rolled back to the older version and it works better with no missing masters.

Ok for those that are wondering, yes you can install everything up to violate or its respective other and have this work.

In short, you can install It's just business without violate or any knock out mod and this mod and have everything work. What will happen is the only people you can inslave will be non violent npc ... I say non violent because you can with the syringe gun or perks pacify a raider then use this mods riding crop on it to inslave.

Word of warning, if you do only use this mod you will 1: always receive a message to install violate and 2: you can only use this mods added new riding crop to get slaves.

This mod was working find at one point and now I am now longer getting the enslave text option, the follow me command still comes up and works. There is just a blank section on the left side speech choices. I know that mod triggers HR and that mod is otherwise working fine for me right now. I've tried disabling various mods and moving orders around to fix it but so far no luck. Anyone know what might be causing this?

EDIT: Nevermind, started a new game with same mo2 profile and it works. Must have broke it messing around with all the mods.

Also, if you are using the last version, make sure you have an enslavement kit in your inventory or the dialogue option will not show up.

When i use this method only works "Enslave" option. "Follow me" option never works. Is something about Charisma?

Greetings.

If you are failing the dialogue challenge then yes, you need to increase your charisma.

Dialogue doesn't show up. I got it ONCE but after that, not a single NPC gave the dialogue. Tried re-equipping the crop right in their face, fast-traveling, resetting AI. Smacking them with the crop just turns them hostile, no dialogue either. Using HR + Knockout Framework + Violate.

I can't get the quest name atm, but in console type: `help "HR_RQ" 4 QUST` :then `SQV "QuestName"` (or get it from xedit) and make sure that the quest is running when equipping the Crop. If it's not running, enable debugging (papyrus log), use the crop on any generic NPC then post "Papyrus.0.log" here.

I've the problem that each time, I hit a "tame" person (non-hostile) with it and choose "Enslave", the voice response it okay, tehy get a collar, but then turn hostile and run away.

Any idea why this is so?

(And with teh Enslavement Baton, NPCs who are unconscious through Knockout Framework are not enslaved either ...?)

does it conflict with other mods? i installed this and it cut to desktop a second after the green vault-tec logo appears in the bottom left corner. or is it because knockout framework on nexus hasn't been updated yet?
