This is a collection of twenty polls that seek to explore the sexual fetishes and preferences of LL users. All polls are completely anonymous so please give us half an hour of your time, and please give honest answers.

 

It does not matter if you are male or female, old or young, or whether you have been around on LL for years or just a couple of days. I encourage you all to vote. We are looking for as broad a base of results as possible.

To provide some background...

Many content creators try to produce community driven content, so seeing what type of content the community enjoys may help inform some of us on what type of content to produce. The main use of this information is to help erotica writers, comic book authors, motion comic makers and the like here on LL to produce material for the community to enjoy.

(For those of you who are observant: yes, this is a compilation of all of my previous polls. I deleted them because people do not seem to have understood how LL polls work and had problems understanding what to do. It should be a lot more intuitive this time. Don't take this the wrong way but most people aren't taking the polls because there's too many questions. I took the first poll, and it was alright but it was long enough as is, when i saw the second and then the third one i was too mentally checked out by that point. I also noticed that some of the questions or options were repeating several times but with different terms and that adds up when there's over a hundred options each time, so you need to streamline it a bit by weeding out excess options.

 

I appreciate the work you've put into this but you need to make these polls more accessible to retain participants. Just saying.

No offense taken. I respect your opinion.

 

That being said, I do not think you realize that if I did what you have suggested, it would to a large extent defeat the purpose of these polls.

 

The whole idea is to provide people with a very exhaustive list of options that may in some cases only differ in small details because sometimes those small nuance differences constitute the critical difference between getting turned on or turned off by something. Honestly, I actually wanted to add even more polls, but decided against it because this list of polls is already very extensive as it is.

 

I have no problem with people deciding not to vote because they feel that there are too many options. What I do have a problem with is people who vote in like 2~6 polls and then drop out. There is a reason why I tell people not to do the polls unless they have half an hour to spare.

 

It is not my responsibility to ensure that you have the mental fortitude and patience to do the polls. All I ask is that people take a quick glance at all of the polls, and then refrain from voting if they are not 100% sure that they can finish once they start.

Fair enough, you have your intentions clear and that's cool. When i took the first poll i didn't think there'll be that many more polls after that so i thought it was a one and done thing. I get that it's frustrating to have people drop out mid way or just not engage with the polls at all but it is what it is, that's just what people decided i guess. i think there's room to cut down on some fine points that don't add any big differences, or like separating each poll segments into focusing on a specific type of fetish so it's easier to follow. For example, fetishes related to choking, make that a segment and add all choking options under it. Then fetishes related to legs, add finer options under it. That sort of thing.

That is either a great idea or a terrible idea.

 

On the one hand, it would allow those who want to be more specific to go into more detail while allowing those who want to fast-track the option to do so. On the other hand, it could easily turn out a convoluted mess of literally hundreds upon hundreds of polls. Regardless, it would take me a long while to make such a poll compilation. I actually like the idea on the face of it, so who knows, I might do it in the future.

Yeah sure, i was just spitballing some idea off the top of my head. Just food for thought, i think this method would be more organized and easier to approach the way i see it cause people won't have to skim through all the poll options to find their turn ons, having fetishes/turn ons be categorized under umbrellas could be helpful. You think about what you wanna do with it. Good luck.

Yeah, thank you. Not only was it a good discussion, it has seemingly led to an upsurge in voters, and thankfully, it seems like the vast majority of the new voters have actually done all 20 polls.

That wasn’t so bad. From some of the comments, I thought each poll would be 20 questions. I agree with person who said there should be “none” or “this isn’t important to me” options on some of these. The location one, for instance - no particular place stands out to me. I don’t care where, i just care what.

I could easily add a “none / skip question” option retroactively, but my feelings are a bit mixed on whether that is a good idea or not. Yes, voter participation would be more consistent, and it would grant people who sincerely do not have enough time to answer all polls the option to fast-track questions that they do not care about, but at the same time, I feel that it would also strongly incentivize people who would otherwise do all polls to skip as well. The fact that there is no “none / skip question” option incentivizes people of that disposition to answer all polls.

 

As I have stated before, I want people to either answer all polls or none at all, but naturally, if you do not get turned on by anything in a given poll, then the sensible thing to do is to skip that poll. By contrast, skipping a poll merely because you are too impatient and do not feel like answering it is not a valid reason in my eyes.

 

 

On a sidenote, thank you for taking the time to answer the polls.

whats difficult is for most actual erotica I would not be interested in some things like being the victim of as a fantasy... but in games that is reversed I am more likely to want my char to be victim of some things which I spectate , I dont imagune myself being the char or being in their situation. So if I answer what I would want to see in games, things happening to character is that most useful?

I don’t mean a “skip question,” i mean an option of (using the location as an example) “All locations are equal to me” or “No location in particular stands out to me,” which I feel would give you useful information. The results you get as is are skips, all locations checked, or, most likely, a pick of one or two locations just to answer the question, all of which skew the return. 
 

Not that it matters now - this is already months old and you’re presumably not going to start over at this point.
