WaxenFigure Posted September 16, 2013 Posted September 16, 2013 appreciate the work.! That's a magnificent tattoo except for that plain looking arrow pointing to the vagina. It needs to be dressed up to match the rest of the tattoo set.

lostdaywalker Posted September 17, 2013 Author Posted September 17, 2013 How about this?? I did some retex, i am a very beginner with skyrim modding. Wow. I like it Very striking. Keep it up.
rhtnwjrdla2 Posted September 17, 2013 Posted September 17, 2013 hey Lostdaywalker, I have a question, I wanted to now, if you can help me with putting glowing map on the armors. such as you know the glowing eye mod from Nexus mods, since its another graphic mod, i know it can be done same to armors, but I do not have any idea where to start.
lostdaywalker Posted September 18, 2013 Author Posted September 18, 2013 hey Lostdaywalker, I have a question, I wanted to now, if you can help me with putting glowing map on the armors. such as you know the glowing eye mod from Nexus mods, since its another graphic mod, i know it can be done same to armors, but I do not have any idea where to start. Its quite easy. Most of the time you have a _0 armor and a _1 armor. Pick one to start on first. First find an armor with an existing working glow map. (Sometimes creating your own does not work. NifSkope can get stupid sometimes) Copy Branch the working BSLightningShader. Open the one you want to glow, remove branch the existing BSLightningShader and then paste branch the glowingBSLightningShader. Redirect the the first two textures to the original diffuse and Normal map. The third is for the glow map. Its quite easy to make one. Open up the diffuse texture in Gimp or PS and color every thing you don't wand to glow black. The rest color white or any shade that is not black. The brighter the color the brighter the glow will be. Save that as whatever_g.dds. Point the third line of your texture set to that new _g.dds file you made. You can change the glow color and strength by changing the Emissive Color and the Emissive Multiple. Once finished Copy Branch the new BSLightningShader and save. Now onen the other aropr _0 or _1 the one you did not do. Remove branch and paste branch the new BSLightningShader ans save.

rhtnwjrdla2 Posted September 18, 2013 Posted September 18, 2013 ~~working i am so stupid..-.- So I am still having problem, you said when I creat the [_g.dds] it will automatically appear on the third line under the texture?because mine I still have to go get the _g.dds file to put into third line, and, I did everything right, idk maybe not, but it still not working, so i tried it on other armors(custom), still didnt work, so i am guessing i am doing something wrong, but idk what iam doing wrong. I have -textures- laces_n.dds laces.dds laces_g.dds -meshes- Lace 1p_0 Lace 1p_1 and which #NiTrishape should i pick from the Lace 1p_0 and Lace 1p_1?
rhtnwjrdla2 Posted September 18, 2013 Posted September 18, 2013 Here is the progress, took me almost 6 hours to run and try every aspect of the nifskope, i am still trying to do arm3 from your armor, but looks like i am not matching meshes and textures together.
rhtnwjrdla2 Posted September 18, 2013 Posted September 18, 2013 oh and I tried the same thing to studed [Glove 3] in 1P folfer this includes ******_m.dds,and ******N.dds not *******n.dds. why is it "N.dds" not "n.dds" it doesnt work.. also same as the boots(df_19) this texture file also contains ******_m.dds also same as the hair (sg hair, mesh= hairsky47, texture= hairmoonrise) do you know how to slove these problems?
rhtnwjrdla2 Posted September 18, 2013 Posted September 18, 2013 Found the pair for the gloves, it would have been whole lot easier if I asked you in advance.lol took few hours to find the matching glove meshes and textures(i know i am kinda slow) anyways, here is the further progress. Still having problems with glowing hair and glowing boots.
rhtnwjrdla2 Posted September 18, 2013 Posted September 18, 2013 I actually am happy to be able to get my boots done even though its not like rest of the armors, i was not able to put any desings on boots surface, cuz it would just not let me, one of those armors that does not allow u to put glow map on it. but i got to put glowing on zipper and heels. And I have a question, my top or gloves, from your armors, glowing map that I put on, comes and goes, i can see them when i zoom in, but not from far away. it does not do that all the time, but it does sometimes. and still havent figured out about glowing hair.
rhtnwjrdla2 Posted September 18, 2013 Posted September 18, 2013 Here are the full glowing appearing, I changed the glowing strength to 20.0000 and all the glowings were appearing. But i still like 30 better.
gregathit Posted September 18, 2013 Posted September 18, 2013 why do you make xx post when you can merge them all ?, and for so far i can remember this thread is about armors from LDW, LDW shoud ask a mod to remove all your posts If LDW has an issue then they can report it. This is LDW's thread and as long as they don't have an issue then there isn't one.
lostdaywalker Posted September 19, 2013 Author Posted September 19, 2013 Easy now Speedynl. I'll help anybody who has some questions and works on it themselves. Lots of people can read and follow his/her progress and learn themselves. Reading is FUNdamental. Looks like you about got it. There is a reason you are haveing a problem with some of them not showing up, but its not your fault. Most of the armors in the Leather and Latex set are using a texture set within the CK in-order to reduce the overall file size. Other wise every color would have to be duplicated in its own NiF file. The CK is overriding the NIF's texture set with another one. The gloves, gauntlets and the Silver and Black ones from the new Latex set are the only parts that are standalone. You can use those freely and it will not mess up the other ones. As for the boots and Leather parts from the first installment, you will only be able to edit the black ones without having to go into the CK and make changes. Don't worry about the lower case n. That's just the way NIfSkope displays it. You texture set should look like this, FilePath/Filename.dds FilePath/Filename_n.dds FilePath/Filename_g.dds As for making hair glow. Never thought about that. The CK changes the hair color so I think the easiest way would be to use a Wig. Try this http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/35520//? Its ApachiiSkyHair wigs. Even if the hair you want to use is not in it. Replace one of them with the one you want to use. (Hair nif and the hairline nif , every hair should have two files although I always merge them into one file) then add the glow map to it just like the armor.

Thank you Thank you, I have to say, your explanations are the best. and Thank you for ur great work with Skyrim armors. Further question, where can I find hairline nif? from the Wig site that u linked to me. I cant find it. can you give me an example how the hairline nif file is like? And um,, it is a stupid question,, but how do i replace one of the wings with the one that i want?? nvm, I changed the meshed ans textures and saved as same name as original item and i was able to change it. now, how do i do the body glowing, there are [_sk.dds], and [msn??_dds] several other kinds of dds... and also, you know the top latex and latex arms that i put glowing textures on?, because I had to put all black on the back ground, it messed up the original smooth looking texture, is there a way to put glowing map on textures w/o putting all blacks on background?? And Thank you so much, I have never thought that I myself was gonna be able to bring my dream mod come true. and I would not have been able to do this w/o your help. Thank you.! Hey I was trying to change the glowing color, i just changed the glowing color and all the glowings just disappeared.. idk what happened. and for the Black2.dds and the chain latex top mesh, waht is the _n.dds file? I seem like i cant match it again, cuz its just showing pure black on the surface of the armor, w/o any glowing map. ahhhhh nvm.. i was stupid again..-.- I figured it out.. Actually, i dont want the body glowing, I tried and saw how it looked, it looked like, solid color, did not look good at all. I have been trying over 6 hours. I am pretty sure I have tried every matching .dds and _n.dds files to match the studed lace black armor, its not working, i cant figure out what i am doing wrong, now i cant even get the original glowing armor back, I am lost. I was trying the color blue as a glowing color on nif, it did not work, but I tried pure white and it worked, still the glowing map _g.dds that I created did not show on the armor, the whole armor was glowing, except the lace part.
lostdaywalker Posted September 20, 2013 Author Posted September 20, 2013 I just looked at ApachiiSkyWigs. The Hair and the hairline are together in one nif. (they are identical meshes with a different NiAlphaProperty (transparency)) Lets say you want to swap out Standalone Wig - Dreads Black with ApachiiSkyhair female #1. You have to combine the hair and hairline into one one .nif Go into the ApachiiSky folder and open up hair01.nif and hairline01.nif (not hair01.tri) Copy branch the hair NiTriShape of the hairline (usually its #1) and paste branch into the other one. (Right click on the #0 NiNode-block-paste branch) Now you have two identical meshes on top ow eachother with a different transparency. Now just do the same thing you did with the armor and swap out the BslightningShader with a glow shader. Change the texture path and add a glow map. If the entire _g.dds is white or some shade of gray the whole hair will glow. If you make a bunch of patterns only parts will glow. _n.dds is your normal map will finish later gototo go.
rhtnwjrdla2 Posted September 20, 2013 Posted September 20, 2013 I was finally able to keep the original normal map and put the glowing map, I mean, bc its glowing whatever glowing color I choose, it wont show original normal map that much at all. But I wanted the area where the one side breast is fish net, bc its original normal map, now its showing, before I fixed this, it was covered with just weird looking black map, I choose color white as the glowing color on the top and glove bc, i found myself that I like glowing white color better than any other colors. And I put black color on the are that is not glowing area as a design(top and glove) Telling you LDW, took me almost about 20 hours of looking through your files and try matching everything to make what I wanted. By now, I honestly think that "Nifskope" is messing with me, bc it looks like sometimes it works sometimes it does not. Almost like a luck to get what I wanted. I swore that I opened nifskope about 1000 times and gimp about 500 times. But, I finally got what I wanted and I mean it took time and effort, actually ruined my real life for a short period time.. Anyways, Thanks a lot to you LDW. And good luck with all your work and looking forward to go through this Nifskope luck working again with your new release armors in the future.!
lostdaywalker Posted September 21, 2013 Author Posted September 21, 2013 I'm glad you figured it out and got what you wanted. Practice, practice ,practice. Do it enough time and you will be able to do it in your sleep. The issue you were having with the texture is not your fault. I was going for a certain look so they are different that normal textures. The regular .dds file, (the image map) has no image on it. its just a solid color. I used the environmental map, the normal map and the specular map( normal maps alpha) to create the false texture. When you swap out the environmental map with the glow map, you will loose a lot of the false texture. The Normal and specular are behind ( so to speak) the glow map, that will obscure most of it.
rhtnwjrdla2 Posted September 21, 2013 Posted September 21, 2013 Hey, after all that trying to get glowing map on the armors and stuff, I figured out that original texture is the best looking and armors and clothes r good without shines. So, I just changed it back, but I put [fullshine_n.dds] on top and gloves from the boots that I am wearing, and remove [shine_n/dds] on the nifskope. lol, but, it was really good lessons and practice to learn how to do designing and meshes and stuff, especially, in the future, i will be able to do more and be able to get what I want. Thanks to you again. Now, my question is, I want to create my own body mesh, skeleton, clothes(especially latex clothes), and my own breast animations. I know those are whole lot more harder and difficult. But you know, no one knows how to do everything from the begining.
lostdaywalker Posted September 23, 2013 Author Posted September 23, 2013 Now, my question is, I want to create my own body mesh, skeleton, clothes(especially latex clothes), and my own breast animations. I know those are whole lot more harder and difficult. But you know, no one knows how to do everything from the begining. Nice work. The best advice I can give you is to get 3dsMax. Blender is just too frustrating for me to use. Follow tutorials for converting armors, and convert a least a dozen to get a basic understanding of what you are doing and to get a good work flow.
ElvenLady84 Posted September 23, 2013 Posted September 23, 2013 For UNP only?? It is not fair Someone did this for CBBE.
lostdaywalker Posted September 23, 2013 Author Posted September 23, 2013 I sure somebody will. I don't mind at all. If somebody does give me a heads up and I'll post a link for the CBBE lovers out there. I'm working on some stuff for COTS and then I'll be back for the third and final installment of this set. It was going to be lace but I don't have enough ideas on meshes to make with out repeating what I have already done. So instead it will be a collection of stuff done just to piss off the Lore-Mongers out there. I've been browsing the 3d sites and found some images that I like, and that I know I can make.
rhtnwjrdla2 Posted September 23, 2013 Posted September 23, 2013 Hey LDW, I have a question again, I am currently using 50% larger breast skeleton by Dragonfly, but, the my character's breast physics does not seem as bouncy as original Dragonfly's TBBP Skeleton movement on his 2 famous pictures. is there a way to fix this with using nifskope? Also, I want to know if I can add [mystic tail bones] to the skeleton that I am currently using. And why is 3dsmax, so expensive?, I searched it on google, went to their website, the price was like $3,000. is it suppose to be like that?
