Finally i wanted to do the correct Step, as some of you advised me for our AAF Erotic Mods run better on MO2.

Ok, so far so good, i installed as Example Caliente´s Body so Cbbe, than i looked into my Steam/Fallout4/Data Folder, but there is NO MOD, NO ESP, ITS EMPTY? ?

Uhm how can this work, when the Mods are not in the Game Data Folder of Fallout 4 by Steam?

And second, how does MO2 recognize my Fallout 4 Game Folder, i dont got it on C  : Harddrive i got Steam and Fallout 4 on D  : Harddrive!

You need vortex if you want to have mods in your folder

mo2 has its own directory, keeps the steam folder clean, click in the the menu icon of the file folder, top middle too bar, scroll down to open mods folder, this is where mods are stored

Totally normal for the mods not to show up in your Data folder when using MO2.  The only things in your Data folder will be the base game and DLC assets.

If you want to make sure that your MO2 is detecting your game correctly, open it up and click on the screwdriver/wrench icon.  Then click on the "Paths" tab.

You can set up one directory where you want to save your mods, and then further down specify the filepath to where the game is installed.  I also have my Steam folder on a separate drive from my Windows drive.

FWIW, I really like MO2 and the control it gives me in managing my mods.

Yea meanwhile i like MO 2 also, it shows every little Detail about a Mod.

Sorry, when i ask this here, forgive me hehe, but i read that some Adult FO 4 Mods from here only work with MO 2 like Beggar and Who...... or Vinfamy Family Planning?

Is this correct?

Please use mods listed in the guide.  Vinfamy's mods (as far as I'm aware) originally were for the "four play" sex setup, which isn't compatible with AAF.  You want Egoballistic's version of AAF Family Planning Enhanced if you would like to have a more stable game with pregnancy.  Make sure you are not installing anything that has Four Play as a requirement as it won't work.

All the mods listed in the guide work with either Vortex or Mod Organizer.  But make sure not to use both mod managers at the same time.  Use either all mods in Vortex or all mods in Mod Organizer.

If you need any help getting AAF to work, you can join our discord.  The link is in the guide.

All good n fine, but in that Guide is not shown how to install AAF with MO 2.

Weird is, as i still used NMM in Game i get always You correct installed AAF.

Shouldn´t AAF be seeable in the MCM? Cause now in my MCM is no AAF and even not FP Prostitution. And know what Message MO 2 has? FP Prostitution is not compatible with MO2! Now what?

Thx

If you are having any difficulty learning how to install mods with Mod Organizer 2, I would suggest starting with this 2 part video from GamerPoets.

The adult guide is not intended to explain basic modding skills to the end user, as there are already plenty of great tutorials out there that already accomplish this task.  As long as you have installed any prerequisites for a mod first, and are aware of which version of a mod you are installing if the guide specifies a version in green, and stay away from mods on the skip list, there shouldn't be any problems.  But if there are, we always have discord for further assistance.

There is no MCM for AAF, and there never has been.  If you need to adjust its settings, such as changing hotkey bindings, you can find AAF_Settings.ini in the mod installation folder.

Also I don't know what you are referring to with the prostitution mod.  Screen shot of the error?  Did you enable loose files modding in the ini editor in MO2 like the guide suggests?  What link did you download this mod from?  Make sure you are using AAF Prostitution and *not* the 'four-play prostitution' mod.

Cheers

Some mods that might install correctly with NMM are not packaged correctly to install with MO2.

You can still install them and use them with MO2, but there are a couple of extra steps.   When installing, click the "Manual" button on the bottom left of the install  pop-up window, and it will show you how the mod is packaged.

One common problem is a Data folder within a Data folder.  To fix that you would right click on the proper folder and "Set this folder as your data folder"

Another common problem is the esp may be in one folder, and the BA2 archives may be in another folder.  You would have to manually drag the esp into the same folder.

On Youtube, Gopher has an old series he did on setting up and learning MO1 to play Skyrim.  Most of the learning points in those videos work the exact same way for MO2, and Skyrim/FO4 doesn't matter.  I would recommend watching that series.

PS  I don't know if I had to do anything special, but I run AAF with MO2 and have no issues.

Question? I installed --->  https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/43844  with MO 2.

As i was in Game i couldn´t wait to build those at the Chem Station, but as i out them on, my Body was invisible and no damn Clothes were there?

I installed it with MO 2 like all other Mods, all other Mods work perfectly.

So why i am invisible by wear Vtaw 5 Clothes?

Tysm

Did you also download the bodyslide files and batch build them in accordance with your body preset (with build morphs checked) with bodyslide?  Some mods have the bodyslide files separate.

AAF works with MO2. It is the only thing I used when I played Fallout 4 with AAF.

Mods that follow proper structure will work in MO without any problems. Any mods that don't work (and aren't properly structured) can be edited and worked on in MO during installation. (manual install I believe is the option) there you can move the folders and even files up and down the page ... looks like an Explorer or any other file folder that you move.

You can hide individual files if  needed including ESP, ESM's if they aren't desired or needed for you at that time and it will still be there just need to undo what you did.

AAF not working or other mods that are parts of a framework or required to be present before installing the mod, need to be activated. Otherwise it isn't active and when you install a mod ... it will state not installed when it is.

Advanced: You can directly edit any file in any of the mods that you install directly just go to Mod Organizer's mod folder and edit away. If you have a project or created your own personal compilation etc. just drag and drop the file into Mod Organizer's Mod folder (when MO isn't active) and start MO and it will show up for you to activate. I did this extensively with TTW files and Sexout Common Resources required files among other things.

Thanks i Re-installed VTAW 5 again and it finally works.

Say, a Question, i want to build now the Atrium of Vault 88, but the Walls wont let me set them above for the next Floor. They only stuck on the Ground or hoover a bit over the Ground. Means the damn Walls stuck all on the Ground even those for the first Floor and even Ceilings and Floor Parts i dont get on the Ground?

???

What can cause that?
