NBIemand
Hi, Recently I noticed my character was floating ever so slightly above the ground. I believe I read this was an issue to do with custom skeletons, but I can't seem to find where I read that. I am currently using the HDT physics tho, along with a tbbp skeleton and a bunch of custom animations. Is there any simple way to fix this issue, without breaking anything? I'm thinking I'd need to modify the skeleton nif a bit to fix it, but I don't know exactly what to edit(is there a node that manipulates the position of the whole skeleton?), nor do I know whether that will keep all my animations and stuff working. Does anyone know what to do? o.o Link to comment
myuhinny
I haven't used it in a bit but I believe you can change it with the MCM options and tweaking one of the options till you become closer to the ground. It might be different now or it might even be a conflict with something. Link to comment
NBIemand
MCM options? I'm not talking about the HDT high heels thing, I'm not using that. I'm talking about the new physics extension. It basically makes jiggly breasts&butts*. I only included that because I am not sure editing the nif file will break that or not(tho I doubt it will) *Hence why I posted in the adult mod section originally. But tech support makes sense I guess, sorry ^^ Link to comment
Silea686
I ran into a similar issue recently, I think it's caused by mods that adjust player / race scale. Try /getscale and see if it, or it's base is above 1.0 -- if so you could try adjusting it with the /setscale command. Link to comment

I got kind of a similar problem caused by ECE/CME which makes my character clip slightly into the ground and neither setscale nor changing the race or creating a new character fixed it. b3lisario
I did the following changes in the female skeleton nif file some time ago to make my char levitate. NPC Root scale 1.0000 --> 1.1000 (+10%) NPC COM scale 0.9400 --> 0.8460 (-10%) Maybe you can do the opposite to solve your issue Link to comment

That saves me the hassle of applying the high heels script to everything. Link to comment

Does anyone know what to do? o.o Downloading and using Liuli's tweaked version of XP32's skeleton fixes this issue. There's regular Skeleton, and there's 1H sword Behind Back version. Keep in mind that the 1H Sword does not include any audio files. However Immersive Animations fixes this. http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/34950/? I attached the files myself. My character started floating after I uninstalled Private Needs mod. The issue was indeed skeleton related. I don't know the details. But FNIS is the software used to set the skeleton related stuff in Skyrim. Link to comment
nameati
i found out what the problem was in my game!!! this may help others out if this problem is bugging you. i have the unp bbp body and i also had installed the tbbp physics mod that makes your butt and boobs bounce also because i was messing around with calientes body slide and when i switched back to the unbp bbp i was having this floating problem. so i uninstalled the tbbp and it fixed it so if you have that on try to maybe uninstall it!
