Help request with a mod - Translations

Hello,

 

I wasn't sure if this had to be under the Technical Support, since it's not very "technical"...

I'm doing a little quest mod, a little out of lore and quite based on dialogues and situations (I would say a little more RP and less fights). It's at a good point and I hope it will need just a couple of more months to be finished. And yes, the world could capside but I'LL FINISH IT at any costs, I really like this plot and I really care about it.

 

Now this is my request. I had a friend, an native-english teacher, helping me with typos. But she's too busy now to help me so I feel very lost. Because it's definetely too hard for me translating some things, mainly because some are jokes with words, or also because sometimes I'm not sure if some words are the right ones concerning the situation where I'm using them. I definetely don't feel good sharing a mod with a lot of dialogues if it has too many bad translated things. I know it's a weird request and I really though a lot before posting it, I was quite ashamed, but... well what I would need is an english native person willing to correct the wrong words or sentences, I don't need translations since I always write in english, I just need to know if what I write makes sense

 

So, well, if someone has some little free time and wants to help me, I'll be really pleased.

PS If also that someone knows something about modding and wants to share some knowledge with me when I can't solve my problems, it would be super. But no I don't want to give burdens to anyone else, I mean I want to do the dirty work with GECK and Blender myself, but an advice on how to solve some problems is always very welcomed.

I know exactly how you feel.

 

As a little advice though, I'd suggest to you, that you give people a bit more information on what you're working on. I found that, if people are interested in the kind of mod you're doing, they're more inclined to help, if it is something they want to see come to fruition. Feel free to open up a thread in the general sexout or adult/non-adult mod section (whereever appropriate) and let people know what you're doing (if you're ready, of course). It lets people see your progress and you have a platform to share your "vision".

I hoped it wasn't necessary, for a help request on correcting typos. I was hoping to avoid that, just for a matter of concept. I mean, I'm not a lover of posting unfinished projects just because I followed too many in the past and I was feeling so sad when they were dying for a reason or another, I didn't want to give the same impression. So I though I could just post the whole finished mod with the assets and all, the day I really could agree it was finished.

 

But you're very experienced and you're perfectly right, Bruce. I'll try to realize something, to show something without spoiling it too much, maybe a little introductive trailer...

It's basically what I did here. At the time I've started that thread, the mod was almost ready for being published and only required some polishing, like dialog and bugtesting, both of which I could only convince people to help me with, after I've showed them what I'm working on. Or at least I tell myself that. I had roughly the same post count as you have now, so I imagined it would be difficult to get people to help me, if they don't know me, what I'm capable of or what they can expect of my mod. 

 

This is not a blueprint on how it should be done in any way, but if you find it difficult to get people to help you, this is one way to win them over.

 If you just wan't your dialog checked for typos and grammar, I'd be happy

to help you. I can also make suggestions that would make the dialog feel

natural within contemporary American English speech.

 

 If you want each of your characters to speak with a unique personality I can

also help, especially if you can provide some examples from existing literature

as to how you would like the character to speak.

 

 As far as the contents of the mod are concerned, I'm not particular about the

subject matter as long as it doesn't involve snuff. The more kinky it is, the more I

will enjoy the work
