saraxx Posted June 18, 2022 Posted June 18, 2022 Looking to get back into a heavily modded (if skyrim or my pc lets me) playthrough of skyrim. Is there a "master" to do checklist out there? I know to DL all the necessary tools such as framework and NMM. Or if anyone has recommendations for mods that would be swell as well. In my past I was not good at getting mods to flow together and created more problems than I fixed. I'm looking for somewhat it all, from beasts, to capture, to alternative starts, and what have you. Though the most IMPORTANT thing I am looking for is a femboy body that can actually function in the mess of what I want. All help is appreciated and all sources to check out are welcome.
Fiend71 Posted June 18, 2022 Posted June 18, 2022 Yes, everyone wants a fully tricked out Skyrim. To have everything playing nicely together, and a stable game takes time, effort, and a bit of know-how. The know-how comes with experience though, so any "list" of mods would actually make things tougher for you, if/when one went south. First, don't use NMM. It's out of date, and there are better options. Lots use MO2 now. I personally use Vortex. Then get a body that you like, build it in BodySlide, and make sure it works. Then get any armor/clothes, and weapons mods you might want/use. After making sure everything's cool, you can add sex. SexLab is good, and does have a bunch of add-on/companion mods to go with it. There is indeed a Femboy race. I'd make sure everything works fine first though (especially Racemenu). I'm not saying this to be mean. Just so often now people want a fully modded Skyrim without doing any work or reading or troubleshooting themselves. Then they get upset when shit doesn't work. Ya know? USSEP and SKSE are paramount. Start there. Then the body... Sorry, but many folk here have put years upon years into learning Skyrim's nuances. A "quick guide" is not a good plan.
saraxx Posted June 19, 2022 Author Posted June 19, 2022 I get ya 100% and I'm not trying to step on toes. Genuinely was curious if someone had a "quick start" referring to the steps to take before you go buck wild with adding the plethora of mods out there. Example of that would be like "make sure you have NMM (which you informed me is dead so I appreciate that A LOT), then get a bodyslider, and so on like that. Basically the "core" before getting into the deep end. Wasn't really hunting for "K what's step one? Okay now how do I add penis?" But I appreciate the info you provided A LOT! Gets me going on the right track.
