Halstrom Posted July 18, 2013 Posted July 18, 2013 Vanilla I'd say FO3 first then Vegas, FO3 was more interesting unmodded, but has less sex mods of course, NV is more current though.
DoctaSax Posted July 19, 2013 Posted July 19, 2013 I think FO3 also does a better job at sketching the fallout world for those who didn't play any of the earlier games. FNV is a bit of a special place within that world, and not necessarily representative of it all. FO3 had much more opportunity to focus on the secret government stuff that led to things being what they are, links back better to the FEV/supermutant lore etc. For someone new to the franchise, FO3 might just be the better start, despite the many qualities of FNV.
