Sandatharius Posted May 9, 2022 Posted May 9, 2022 As the title says. Is there anything? So, when starting a new game, a way to eliminate ALL Sims from getting pregnant. I know I can use MCCC to remove an individual pregnancy, but doing that for every Random & Townie in the game seems rather daunting.
anitabeer Posted May 9, 2022 Posted May 9, 2022 You do realize that when you set up your Wicked Whims settings at the start of the game, you have the option of completely turning off pregnancies for SIMS and NPC SIMS, right?

Yes, I do. And I DO have it checked off to disable pregnancy. But Townies are STILL getting pregnant. However, I did notice that under Settings>Pregnancy>Other Settings>Override Game/Mods Pregnancy, the box was not checked off. Should that box also be checked?

The game itself has random pregnancies now with the new neighborhood stories feature. Look around in the game settings to disable it but you will have to scroll down to find the setting as it's somewhat hidden.

If I just turn off Neighborhood Stories completely, will that do it? I don't really care about that, anyway.

If you don't want babies you can disable just that and everything else will still happen but you won't get NPCs having kids. For the record though, I have it completely disabled. If I want story progression, I'll use MCCC for that as EA does a pretty bad job of it.
SkyBarbie Posted May 11, 2022 Posted May 11, 2022 If you are using Wicked Whims, you can terminate all current pregnancies with the following console command: ww.force_stop_all_sims_pregnancy
procian Posted May 13, 2022 Posted May 13, 2022 If you have Mccc you can turn down the npc pregnancy % chance for different age groups....I have elder turned off and all the others set to 1%. Same with npc marriages.
