Presets Not Appearing in Game

Hello. 

I've been having a lot of trouble the last few days just getting a single UNP preset to appear in game. 

All of my other mods work. But of course the main thing I want doesn't even try to show up. I've exhausted everything I can think of and asked SO many other people who weren't able to help.

 

I've reinstalled -everything- and have been moving folders all around. Ticked every box I've been told to. I've batch built. I have everything each mod required of me. The only thing I've gotten to happen is Skyrim screwing up so bad I had to hard reset my machine. Everything else I've tried just leaves me with the stock characters. There's no mod conflicts in Vortex. And again, most of the other mods run how they're supposed to. What am I doing wrong? This is extremely frustrating.

Is the preset you want to use showing up correctly when you run Bodyslide?  If not maybe the preset just isn't packaged correctly.

 

Don't know what you've asked or what you've tried, but Gopher's tutorials are pretty good.  This one is made around Fallout 4, but applies just the same to Skyrim, except you'd need to change the file paths.

The thing is that the Presets are probably not properly packaged for installation through a mod manager.

 

You will likely have to open the ZIP/RAR file and insert the contents to the proper location.

 

That location depends on what exactly you mean by Preset.

There is Bodyslide Preset,

C:\........Slyrim\Data\Caliente\Bodyslide\Presets

 

OR

 

There are Face Presets for Racemenu,

C:\..........Skyrim\Data\SKSE\Plugins\CharGens\

Or

C:\...........Skyrim\Data\SKSE\Plugins\CharGens\Presets

If you are talking about body presets then you need to build the preset in Bodyslide and then build clothes and armours to the preset. There are videos on YT showing how to do it.
