Gukahn Posted May 7, 2022 Posted May 7, 2022 Might be he talking about a specific mod manager perhaps? I do know that my vortex does load order as well as deployment order, both of the features do handle.. Something, i just do it logical and be fine most of the time.  But i had installed 3 mods without EPS´s to replace minor npc´s and enemy faces, all of them did also conflict but with no means to alter the order since no esp. What i did was to open up the mods folder in my game and delete any refference to npc´s already altered by other mods. Same as i wanted to use ordinary women for one single npc´s. I opened the archive, deleted any referrences to other npcs then the one i wanted, repacked it (don't delete hair meshes, i only deleted any file that had either an npc´s name or their ID in it.) repacked and installed it. Then i installed the mod, opened up SSEDit and did the same with the ESP. It's a bit of a hassle depending on how big that replacer is tho.Â

My Prince just wants to know, does priority starts from the bottom of the load order, or from the top. Here is what the mod author says: Compatibility : This MOD conflicts with other NPC Replacers, so be careful about file priorities. When installing multiple mods, the plug-in load order and file priorities need to be correctly placed. Also, apart from mod manager file priorities, loose files have higher priority than official compressed files (BSA). If you want to use this MOD with other NPC Replacers, set the priority of the other NPC Replacer higher than this MOD. If the priority of this mod remains high, the NPC face may be displayed with the default (dark face). This issue does not occur if the other NPC Replacer has not changed the NPC face settings. If it is changing settings, you will need to undo the changes using xEdit etc. However, please do not do the one who is not familiar with handling of MOD.

If i install Bijin Warmaidens and then want another look for Mjol, i do have to load Mjol after Bijin so get what i want. ?

Thank you. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/98424 Â With due respect to @Gukahn, the priority of the mods is from the bottom of the load order. Let's say you have a mod that makes Lydia look sexy (Mod A) and another that turns her into a man (Mod B). Your game will show whichever mod you loaded last (thus, the lower in the load order the higher priority). That is why most mod authors (except esm's) beg for the bottom of the load order. Other mods are less likely to interfere with their work. Â So, load Mod A first and get Lydia as a man (Mod B is lower and has priority). Load Mod A last and you get a sexy Lydia.
Psalam Posted May 7, 2022 Posted May 7, 2022 A good analogy might be painting a wall. If you put a coat of white paint on, the entire wall will now be white (vanilla Skyrim). If you then do accent colors around doors and windows (say, in yellow) then you only have yellow in those areas and the rest remains white. If you then put a broad blue stripe from the floor up which covers part of your yellow accents then some of the yellow is now gone. In every case, whatever you do LAST is what you see.
Guest Posted May 7, 2022 Posted May 7, 2022 > OK. Thank you, both of you. > You just answered my Prince's question, Mr. @Psalam69. He would know what to do now.
Andy14 Posted May 8, 2022 Posted May 8, 2022 When someone creates a mod, the mod is automatically last in the loading order. Also, it depends on what other mods (esm) this mod uses. In addition, the author's mod list is not the user's mod list. So no, the statement "My mod last" is ONLY correct for the author of the mod. Everyone else has to use their brains or LOOT or both.
