Lot's of issues with this request. 

 

1: There's no fkpg of this game anywhere. 

 

2: There tutorial only switches the body models with those that wear only the underwear. There's no known method to remove the underwear. 

 

3: Even if there is a method to remove the underwear, this is a console only game, there are no PC mods available to convert to, and no known files available anywhere to be used as texture changes. 

 

You're asking for a lot, here.

The only info I have from a PS4 modder is this:

This method involves changing the outfit to a swimsuit or bikini, removing or making invisible the bikini or swimsuit through the program, and then working with the nude skin as a PS4 image and applying it."

I don't know where you got this information from, but that modder sounds like an idiot. The method to mod the game is not similar to DOA X3, considering the game runs on Unreal4, which is not what DOA X3 runs on. If anything, that makes it harder to test for, because Unreal Engine games can't be used with AFR, which means I would need to create a whole update pkg for the game to test it out.

@RedactedByUser It was a modder from the PS4 mods/hacks thread (https://www.loverslab.com/topic/219092-playstation4-ps4-modshacks/), so I thought he would know what he talks about. But I guess he doesn't know much about DoA Xtreme 3.

Also are model swaps possible as well? Hving maybe more defined body, I know it's been discussed in the past but since now we have working mods for it.

 

BTW is there any way all the girls in the paradise mode would all go for the Extreme Sexy, to the naked one automatically?

Due to personal request, I made some edits to the base mods where the tanlines are replaced with a full body tan. I'll leave these here if anyone wants to use them. Only done the base girls, so none for MisakiHonokafulltan.pkg or Leifang at the moment.

The only one I didn't make a mod for was Leifang, and it's due to her skin texture being a completely different file size from the rest of the girls, which causes the game to crash if moded.

Like I've said, I can only change the texture of the skin, editing meshes and vertices is out of my expertise, so unless someone who can figure how to mod that aspect of the game, Marie is going to stay like that.

Hey, does anyone know how I could extract the models from DOA: XVV on steam for pc for blender? You see, I'd like to use them for "artwork" purposes only and I can't seem to figure out where the model files are exactly are, as I think there in my Steam\steamapps\common\DOAX-VenusVacation\DX11_global_data\COMMON file directory? But all I see is generic ".file's?"

I installed the base game, update 1.19, about 70 dlc's and then the 7 nude fpkg's (it asked me to overwrite and i said yes). I can't find out what to do next, please help?

JUst play and select the Ultimate Sexy outfit. One or two require plugins that load mods via the GoldHen plugins.

There is still the issue where if removing the swimsuit messes up the mesh and leaves see through textures, the texture replace will not cover up the oddities, it will only replace what can be viewed. Some swimsuits work the same for several characters, but the result is never the same, so this leaves me with basically running tests to see which swimsuit can be removed for which character with no missing meshes, so the texture inject can be fully injected.

 

For now, just stick with this.

With the new PPPwn exploit I was finally able to jailbreak my PS4 and dump the Scarlet version, and am now looking to contribute to modding it. Unfortunately I'm pretty much lost in how to proceed. Could someone please explain which tools to use and what to do? I did manage to extract some files but there seems to be quite some differences compared to the Fortune files, and I tried to follow the post here but I couldn't really make any meaningful progress.

 

Hoping someone can point me in the right direction. Thank you.

I think you should mod Fortune version instead, because I heard there are many restricted activities in Scarlet version VR.

I don't have Fortune, and with it already having been modded by @RedactedByUser I was thinking I could try modding Scarlet.

 

From the previous posts it seems Leifang is not possible to mod, though Misaki is.

 

If I get Fortune it seems that updates and saves can be transferred to the jailbroken PS4, maybe even DLC.

 

I don't have any DLC, so whether I try to mod Fortune or Scarlet, what I'm looking to do is to blank out a swimsuit in the base game and replace the textures with nude textures. However, I don't know how to find out which swimsuit is which, how to make a swimsuit blank, and how to replace textures. Then also how to get it running on the PS4 again.

 

I'm willing to do the work so I'm hoping someone can give instructions on how to do it. The previous bits of information in this thread don't seem to be enough.

I've taken a look into Scarlet, and frankly, I'd rather not bother with attempting to mod it. The same files seem to be in use, but the structure and placement seems different, and feels like some extra work has to be applied from the method I use to get it to work.

 

As for explaining how to mod this game, gonna be honest, it's way too fucking long to explain, and was a pain to figure out. I basically used that post you linked as my guide, but that guide is so fucking horrible, I basically had to do  a lot of trail and error and guess work to figure out what the guy from the tutorial was saying. Those tutorials left out such important information and steps, which should not have happened, because you have to make sure everything is in it's correct placement, otherwise the game won't make sense of it and not work. The worst part is, that guy who made the tutorials is the only one who knows how to at least mod the game with ease, but with their disappearance, lack of communication, and shitty ass guides, there's nothing left here to do, but just more guess work on what the fuck they're tutorial was talking about.

 

I know it's not of much help, so sorry, but here are which programs I used in order to make the mods. You can ask questions and I'll tell you what I know. I just can't be bother to type in everything, cause it is a lot, and I mean, FUCKING a lot.

 

PS4 Fake PKG Tools https://github.com/CyB1K/PS4-Fake-PKG-Tools-3.87/releases/tag/fpkg This is basically used to unpack the DLC files, and repack them. Can be used to also unpack and repack full games.

 

PS3 Game Extractor https://www.psx-place.com/resources/ps3-game-extractor.824/ Sometimes the game will have a bunch of .archive files, these are packed files compressed into one huge file, and this is where the files needed to be modded typically are. The program can extract and repack them.

 

img2gnf https://github.com/bukhamm/Traduccion-Yakuza-Dead-Souls/blob/data/plugins/data/orbis-image2gnf.exe this is an exe file, so you have to run it through some type of command program, like powershell and command prompt. This basically converts DDS files (Texture formatt typically used for PC games) and converts them into GNF images (PS4 textures).
