They got gens to them?

Like, pokemons and all that?

That explains all the porn... They DO reproduce!

Very much so... sorta.

Gen One:

...  Well, I can't put a finger on it.  But there are exceptions.

For example: Pony Life (Gen 4.5-ish. Sorta.) was an absolute travesty.  Case in point, on the left is left is the Pony Life travesties:

"...protect ponies like you, from ponies like that!" 5:00

Pony porn?  Oh, don't get me started!  Ha!  I'm well acquainted with the Rule 34 area of the interwebz.

In all honesty, Gen 4, MLP:FIM (Friendship Is Magic) was/is likely a one off incident.  It's a once in a generation thing that just... happened.  Still active, but it'll probably wane as time goes on.  On the other hand, it's being kept alive (and quite "healthy", I might add), with fan made content (obviously, since Officialdom is on to Gen 5 stuff now), so who knows how long it will last.

Yeah, I mean, I've seen and played with myself to pics of those like the one with the majenta/pink stripe over the darker rest of her mane, never seen stuff about other "timelines"(?) except for one with a tenis ball...?

Pink stripe is the main character of the Gen 4 MLP:FIM series.  Name is Twilight Sparkle.

Tennis ball is one of the three from the new Gen 5 series. Name is Izzy Moonbow.

You're welcome.

That so? Interesting.

But say, is this some happy-go-lucky tone stuff?

It's so... Colourful.

Damn, you really like the cars XD

Also what Millenium Falcon is that ?!

I don't really want to show my collection, but it's pretty huge hehe, with even one lego system in the pile or some very old Bionicles

It is the Rise of Skywalker Falcon. I have a bunch more Star Wars stuff including both of Poe's X-wings and the Razor Crest, and some Harry Potter. As for cars, there a couple dozen more not pictured, mostly Speed Champion stuff.

My wife also has a couple shelves of the Lego Friends kits.

My boyfriend started to collect 'em too after Lego switched to new 8 studs wide design.

I have a bunch of the older designs too but I really like the new stuff. I just built the white Countach last night. I actually managed to get it for MSRP at Wal Mart. It was the last one they had. Guy said they can't keep them in stock. Even if you do find one online they are almost double the price.

Not even the Collector Edition lmao

More seriously any Falcon is amazing, and nice to hear that Lego is a family passion :D

Funny thing, it isn't even the money that keeps me from buying the big one. It is the fact that have no where to display what is basically a three foot long disk.

Otherwise you would definitely get it, amirite ?

What about the Death Star

I dunno about the Death Star but I would love to have the room for the Star Destroyer. My entire apartment is just over 900 square feet...and that is with three bedrooms. Lack of space is a very real thing. I mean, my toolbox is in our kitchen...LOL

Oh yeah, the Star Destroyer is one hell of a big piece.

I saldy lost my interest with lego nowadays, i really was a fan of the adventure sets but now it's all licenses and ninjago ?

You all make me want to start a collection of my own haha~ ?

It is an addictive and potentially very expensive hobby. As TT said older discontinued sets are rare and expensive. Hell, the green Lamborghini and blue Bugatti in my first picture were right around 400 dollars...each.

oof

To be fair they both took many, many hours to complete spread out over several weekends. I got a lot of enjoyment for that money.

A bit of frustration too. I missed a step on the Bugatti and didn't catch it till a ways into the build. Had to take a lot of pieces off to fix my error. Moral of the story, limit your alcohol consumption when building really complicated kits.

Well, if we're talking of SW LEGO...

I have a Fury Class interceptor from SWTOR:

And a NO FO tie fighter:

The lego prices at least seem reasonable. On the expensive side for big kits, but they don't seem that bad for the average kit, no?

Most of the little Speed Champion kits are around 20 bucks, unless it is a dual car kit or a really rare one. The average price is around 10 dollars per 100 pieces, Technic kits are sometimes a bit more expensive. The Bugatti and Lambo are both Technic.

I like painting figures over or even making them from scratch by myself, myself.

Not sure what you mean by that question.  I've heard it questioned within the fandom why is it that people get so bent out of shape about adults enjoying "pastel ponies", if that answers part of your question.

The answer to the question about why adults go for it (at least the ones who are actually "otherwise" fully functional adults) mostly had to do with needing a break from the rest of their lives.  Many were doing some intensive stuff and just needed something to relax with for a few hours a week on a Saturday.  At least that's a common answer I got at BronyCon 2019.
