Character keeps getting killed when using Cursed Loot.

Every time a CL bondage event triggers, my character keeps getting shocked to death. I'm around 80% sure it's Cursed Loot itself causing this problem, since when I was playing without it everything was fine. I saw there's a conflict with Devious Armor that has this effect, but I don't have it. I had DD devices equipped in other ways and didn't get shocked- I only get shocked whenever an event from Cursed Loot activates. Anyone know how to fix this?

Nonetheless. You're telling us, that whenever you're harvesting a plant and find a restraints key, you get shocked to death? Mining ore, going through doors, asking some random folk for solicitaion? In that case your game is thoroughly broken, and you should take a good look at your logfiles.

 

There are two random events where a shocking device is equipped on your PC.

One is the Slave Collar - that thing punishes you with shocks when you're wearing clothes or armour. If you ignore that, you die. There are notifications in the upper left corner, you need to keep an eye on them (or use some Notification Log)

The other are the Slave Shock Boots that punish you for running. If you insinst on running and don't wait until your health has recovered, you may also die, but that takes some dedication.

IIRC you will get shocked wearing the Whore Collar and leaving the tavern, but that collar only gets equipped on demand.

 

There is one script error that wrongly equips the Slave Collar instead of... either whore or slut collar, I don't remember. For Slave Collar see above.

I already asked yesterday, but got no replies and I want to keep playing Skyrim, so I got a bit impatient and decided to ask here too.

 

Thanks for the info, I found out what the issue was. Essentially, jewelry counts as clothing- I have a ring on that doesn't get unequipped no matter what device gets put on, so I have to unequip it manually to stop the shocking.

 

Though, what is concering is that no notifications in the upper left appear. I still get the "You get too aroused and equip all devices" pause menu (or whatever you'd call it) and such for the events, but nothing that tells me what's going on in the upper left. I know notifications there do actually work, since I get Toys Framework notifications.

There's a checkbox in the collars section of the MCM to "allow jewellry" - as long as it isn't considered armour this might help you.

 

Using Toys and DD together is quite unusual, I always thought the toys are made from and for the "I hate Kimy" faction.

According to the poll Here, 75% of Toys users are also using DD.
