Armor top or bottom only

I'm having an issue lately for two piece armors (top and bottom) where I can't where both at the same time, when I activate one it takes off the other. 

 

i.e. activating bottoms, deactivates the tops

 

This didn't use to happen

 

Can someone tell me why?

DD device hider? Try switch it off for testing.

Conflicting slot with SOS and similar?

Check what slots those armor parts use. (I'm rebuilding my LO, don't ask me how to do that lol. Either xEdit or any mod that shows body slots)

 

EDIT:

Using a smashed patch or bashed patch? Check them with xEdit if a needed patch for slots gets overwritten or if there is a conflict with any other mod or if a slot modification didn't made it thru.

Might also help if you say what mod you are talking about, maybe someone knows about that. For example Bikini Armors might conflict with slots, SLS for example has an alternative version to prevent those conflicts.

What does SoS, and the Pube Addon

 

Went on defeat to ID armors and I guess I can't use slot 32 (tops) with slot 52 bottoms, 49 or 45 is okay, but it's either or for 32 / 52.

 

Any work around?

SOS relies heavily on the use of slot 52 (Assigned in a modders discussion as Secondary Pelvis or Undergarment). Any mod that uses this slot will probably have issues with SOS.

 

SO basically you will have to change slots the armor uses. Nowww, to do that correctly I would need to google that too.

I would change slots with xEdit, but I'm sure there is more to it.

I don't "use" Nifskope. For the purposes of changing body slots you use only a trivial portion of the Nifskope tool.

You might want to check slot allocations in xEdit - sometimes armour designers add slot 52 to body (slot 32) armours.

So far every time I had this issue I could resolve it by simply marking the current armor as "revealing" in SoS.

Under the "Player / NPC Settings" on the left side there should be a line with the armor you are currently wearing and right under that is the "revealing" checkbox.
