Bed replacer?

I was hoping to find some sort of bed replacer that would get rid of those annoying canopy beds like the ones Elisif and Sybille have, and replace them with non-canopied versions.

 

If I have sex with either of those women in her own bed, I'm left standing on the bed afterwards, within the canopy frame, and it's sort of a pain to jump out of it.

 

Even worse, when you buy your own house in Solitude and upgrade your bedroom, you get that same bed. But the ceiling in that bedroom is so low, it's straight-up impossible to get out of that bed.

 

If I must resort to having sex on the floor like some sort of animal in those bedrooms, well, I guess I can live with that. It'd be nice to have the option of using the bed, though.

Ultimate Noble Beds

There is somewhere here on LL I believe a mesh modification so that the upper canopy of the noble bed doesn't have collision.  In other words, you can see it, and you can lay on the mattress, but walk through the upper part without getting stuck.

Thanks for the suggestion! I saw that mod, but it looked like all it does is make beds look a little messy, like someone's actually been sleeping in them. Although I just looked again and saw this bullet point...

Does that actually mean no more canopies? It's hard to tell from those pictures at the Nexus; none of those beds have canopies, and I don't recognize the rooms. The pic you posted looks promising, as it has high bedposts that I could see replacing a canopy frame, but it also looks like a single bed and those don't have canopy frames in Skyrim.

NobleBedDouble01 has no canopies. You can copy and rename it NobleBedDouble02 to remove any and all canopies.

I believe this is the mod in question. It gives the options of simply removing the collision or removing the beams entirely. You'll probably need to pass it through CAO if you want to use it on SE, though.
