Im not an amazing troubleshooter.. But maybe you should disable a mod, play a while and see if you still crash, if you still crash go out and disable another one, one-by-one, and keep going until you find the mod/mods that make you crash and either update them or get rid of them.

I know this could be very time consuming if you have a lot of mods installed.

Then again, im not amazing at troubleshooting, im just giving advice on what i do when i start crashing.. It's also good to remember that this is Skyrim and it will crash when you have a certain amount of mods installed.. It's just the downside of modding in Skyrim, sadly.

Yes I would do this, but since there are no mod names included in the crash log it leads me to believe that the issue maybe doesn't have much to do with mods itself rather than load order or something.

I managed to fix at least the crash on loading a save. I had both TDF prostitution and public plaything enabled, which both used a script called ski_playerloadgamealias. I will have to play more to see if other crashes still occur.

Not sure what you're saying by that

He's suggesting a pair of resource links that were ostensibly created to assist players in resolving various routinely encountered issues with Skyrim SE

ski_playerloadgamealias is used by every mod that has a mcm menu.  So not likely to be your issue.  The pex file should not be included in the mod, which some modders include by mistake or misunderstanding.  The symptoms you list I normally see after a person keeps adding and removing mods midgame, or has a very large to the max mod order that adds and genrates to many new forms that skyrim implodes.  This are generic comments, I do not know specifics about your mod selection and configuration.

I've taken to combatting the symptom by dodging inside a low-activity (ie few if any followers) player home every now and then, idling for a few days, sometimes as much as a week of game time, sleeping, crafting, and organizing. then making a new save, cleaning it with fallrim tools, and then reloading, and then resaving once reloaded.  The long idle time allows the game (in my otherwise naive mind) time for any lingering scripts and other dynamic elements to settle. the cleaning is to remove any residual fragments leftover when all is said and done. As long as I practice "clean playing" in this manner with regularity, I minimize the cycle of bad saves. But yes, they still happen. Best bet there is like I do, going back to a safe load, run the process I noted, and then play on, performing maintenance routinely to keep the game in a low stress state at time of save and cleaning the savefile once created, just to make sure.

I'd also note that I tend to end up in that situation as a result of too many long play sessions back to back, often coupled with instances of "in game resolvable" player lockup along the way in the session(s) (ie, situations where you have to use a crafting station to regain the use of zoom and pan, or a player-running-in-place glitch, or the worst, an SL event that starts up and deposits you and some NPC on a floating island of stuff (trees, cliff bits, windmills sometimes, etc) above the origin inbetween Whiterun and Rorikstead or even worse, suspended in the void under the terrain mesh - in my game, these two in particular are almost guaranteed to end with an unloadable save. And also on rare occasion, it seems potentially correlated to a particularly hard hit (player is staggered) taken in a battle. These corrupted save file situations always seem to pop up just after (or in concert with?) one -or more? -  of these types of events.

Anyway, hope you find your answer.
