I have installed everything. Everything, that sexlab needs for Vortex. But when i go into the game, it does not work! Yes, the MCM menu is there. But i can't click download mods. Did i do something wrong? Or is Sexlab, not meant for Vortex?

Do you mean by "download mods" the "install" option in SL MCM on a new game? ?

No mod does download anything via MCM ?

A screen shot of this "download mods" button might help us to understand the problem ?

SexLab does not need anything for Vortex and Vortex has no problems with SexLab.

You install SexLab with Vortex as you would any other mod.

Because the mouse is stuck or clicking on it has no effect?

Before opening any MCM wait for all mods to load (messages on the upper left screen corner)

Also highly recommended to start with an alternate start to give mods time to load, that way you can be sure the mods did load correctly.

I didn't know that those are compatible ^^

I guess you meant you installed all Sexlab requirements until Vortex stopped to be mad at you.

This probably means that not all requirements are installed.

A Load Order would help to get a first impression what is installed already.

Also would show if you play on LE or SE.

Mods are unrelated to mod managers. Means you can install Sexlab with all of them (at least all I know for Skyrim ^^).

What is more important is that you know how to handle the Mod Manager you use (Vortex) and installed the correct requirements for Sexlab and the fitting mods for the version of your Skyrim.

Basically:

use only LE mods for Skyrim LE

and SE mods for Skyrim SE (and check what SE version you use because of the AE related updates)

AE is also a thing now

This is all pocking in the dark as long as you don't give us more information.

What Skyrim Version?

What is installed already (Load Order)?

Maybe even a FNIS Output (copy&paste the text from FNIS_for_users).

Optimal start:

Sexlab and all requirements installed (don't relay on Vortex to remind you what mods are needed, there are more than Vortex knows, it checks probably only for the Plugins Sexlab asks for, you find more details on the mod pages)

Start via SKSE from your Mod manager

Alternate Start to circumvent the vanilla Skyrim intro

wait for all mods to load (screen messages stop or just wait for a while)

start Sexlab via MCM (which won't work if some basic requirements are missing, although I never saw that happen to me, so I guess you might have to do with mixed LE/SE/AE mods)

...

Clicking the button, has no effect. That's the problem.

Yes, you where already very specific about that button issue of yours.

Somehow you made it to the button right?

On your quest for the ultimate SL button something went wrong.

If you are new to modding there are many possible sources of errors along to way to the holy install button of SL.

To help you to get a pushable button we need more information or it could be anything that made you buttonless.

In the worst case you are just not able to click buttons and in the best case we find an error in your setup that caused that rather unusual and naughty button behavior.

Spoiler

Your issue is unusual, that's why the chance that someone stumbles in here knowing exactly how and where you took a wrong turn is close to zero.

That's why the usual approach is to find out what the actual situation is and if it can be fixed. There are so many ways to mess up a modded Skyrim that it hard to know all possible sources of errors.

If the game isn't salvageable, then we could help you to create a stable base setup and from there you could continue to experiment.

However, without your cooperation, no one can help you.
