INC3NSUS Posted February 20, 2022 Posted February 20, 2022 I am sure this gets asked occasionally so appreciate it in advance.... So I occasionally play some adult games, recently used mods with Cyberpunk 2077 a bit (only to have a new patch goof it) tried to mod fallout to mixed results. So I have noticed a lot of mods here for Skyrim and For sims. Skyrim has a million editions and not sure about the sims. And I know (was reminded today with Cyberpunk) a stable build is what you want if you plan on using mods. So here it is.. if you were new to Loverslab type games and wanted a stable game to put some sexy mods in which would you use? Also which few mods if you wanted to get it going without 5 hours of work. Thanks a million hope someone gets a chance to answer this!
donttouchmethere Posted February 20, 2022 Posted February 20, 2022 I tried to build a very basic Skyrim Setup yesterday following my blog. It went fast, still only managed to install basic requirements for a stable skyrim, vanilla game fixes, some ingame tools, basic SL and addons, a body and some race menu mods. But I have already most files needed on my PC, so it's copy/paste, choose and click to install. Finding, Downloading all the mods and their requirements (while not intensely reading any descriptions) alone would eat up the 5 hours (if you don't get distracted by all the new and updated mods that got added to LL and Nexus in the last 2 years >.<). Makes me think if it's even possible to create a quickie mod install checklist for only Sexlab and supporting mods while leaving most things vanilla. I can't go back after seeing everything beautified-lewdtified-deviouslypervertified-schlongified-texture/meshreplaceified ?

That and you know already how to operate your mod manager of choice. My First big modlist after a very long time took me.. Roughly 5 Days to, read every guide i could get my hands on, find every must have mod, fuck it up cause xpmse being corrupted while adding stuff wrong, reinstalling it and having a very basic setup you would consider stable. After that i had to actually learn how to work with my mod manager, read another guide about bodyslide and one for SSEdit (XEdit) later on, adding physics which is another beast altogether if your only experience with it in Le was how it raised your freaking water so high i wanted to call Noah for help ? (Yes a new game would've fixed that probably. But i was stupid and said fuck it all to only mod SE years later. But that's not important.) And after reading roughly 4 guides and looking for mods yet another time.. I never stopped putting new mods in. ? I never stopped reading other peoples troubleshoots too cause what if i happen to have that problem ?♀️ Modding this game takes more time then playing it. I haven't seen Alduin since 2013

People are talking about Skyrim here, but actually for sims, you can install few mods in less than 5 hours, it's very easy to install in this game. I'd say in less than one hour you can install every mods you need to make it as you want. For skyrim, unless you know what you are doing, it's going to take a while. Especially with all the edition and compatibilities around, it's very infuriating.
INC3NSUS Posted February 20, 2022 Author Posted February 20, 2022 In my hurry I guess I typed it badly, I have never modded, but have used mods for years everything from NMS, Cyberpunk, Grim Dawn and so forth. Sounds like getting the right mods and fixes installed to skyrim is a bit of a process. But it also sounds like Sims may not be that bad to get going with a bit of loverslab content? And thanks again for all the input. I can look for kinkier stuff later, just looking for a game with some ok graphics with some sex in it. Mostly looking for male + female or female + female if you can recommend a few starter mods for those of us new to trying mods on loverslab. Thanks again!!!
Gukahn Posted February 20, 2022 Posted February 20, 2022 For the very basics apart form the framework you don't need that much to get normal sex going but making everything working will take you quite some time. Sexlab Framework Edition depends on your game version (there are 3 now.. Fuck you Bethesda) All it's requirements, most important thing about puting mods in skyrim are requirements. Don't embarrass yourself with help questions just cause you forgot to read them up. Happens too often, gets boring and everytime someone forgets them, a fairy dies..? (might be extinct since Anniversary edition crawled out it's rotting hole and opened its bloodshed, ugly eyes.) Animation Loader to register animation packs Animation packs, the 2 newest frameworks kinda bug out on default animations (might be just my stupid ass tho.) Nude Bodys for Males and Females. Male is easy to decide, Schlongs of skyrim and be done with it. Combine with Himbo if you want to do with male bodys what you can do with: CBBE (or Cbbe3ba for the sweet, sweet physics.) Unp (Or BHunp for the sweet, sweet physics.) not both, just one. i saw someone putting 2 female bodys in the game and wondering why the fuck nothing worked.. Npc replacers to make everything more appealing Trigger mods like eager npc´s, matchmaker, defeat (?) Everything apart that is extra you might or might not want or need.. (But you WILL want physics.. Nobody doesn't want that.. Jiggle Jiggle)
INC3NSUS Posted February 21, 2022 Author Posted February 21, 2022 Unless someone wants to weigh in on the Sims a bit more looks like one of the versions of Skyrim is the winner.. but which one? Also thanks for all the input!

Also thanks for all the input! Wait a bit until you decid sims vs skyrim since the thread got unlocked just recently. Maybe @Khlas can share some inside like last time? Skyrim Version.. The Thing is, you can't get normal SE anymore. AE is a Patch, we call everything newer then the last SE version AE now. It was a shithow but i think it gets quieter now. Haven't updated myself and didn't researched the matter anymore. So i would say go with Legendary. It will be a bit different but not so much, might as well look donttouchmethere´s guide up. Just open his signature and you find everything on LE you need to know. Many of the things you read there are also true for SE/AE. If you decide AE is the way to go for you however, you will need to disable automatic steam updates for at least a year. (How many times can i write fuck you bethesda till todd gets the message?) As for skyrim modding in general the messages stands. It will take you time. Do it slowly, make a basic build with just the must have mods to make the game more stable. And by the love of everything that's holy, unholy, fuckable and smells like fish: Keep an eye out for the version the mods you want to have are for. LE Mods + Skyrim SE/AE = Bad SE Mods + Skyirm LE= big bad. If not told by the modauthor or at least 3 comments that say otherwise. (There are a couple of things that really work with every version it seems, but not many.) Rule of Thumb: don't

Only things missing are animations and skimpy outfits, which there are hundreds out there if you want to take the time to look for them, but at least they're also super easy to install. You just drag and drop files into the "Mods" folder, unlike Bethesda games where you pretty much need a mod manager lest you screw up your entire game folder.
