karlbailey Posted February 4, 2022 Posted February 4, 2022 so i am having somewhat of an issue not sure what it is impacting but i can play the game just fine, can be refined more definitely as it crashes at times but this issue just came up during the middle of my play through. i am using mod organizer 2 so none of the files are in where the game is located, look at the virtual folder where all the mod files and things are that get put in the data folder of the game they are all where they are ment to be, i am not sure how to go about fixing what ever this going on not sure if this will help any but my mod list file order, loot has the plugins organized

karlbailey Posted February 4, 2022 Author Posted February 4, 2022 all steam games are on my G:\ drive as it is far bigger, also MO2 is set to that address path to skyrim all the other mods work just fine it is just those three that are now having issues where they were working before, all i can put it to is me fiddling with the mod file order, i have not touched the plugin order at all that is all loot -reinstalling through MO2 did not work -removing and adding did not work, used the file stored in my hard drive i can access the menus in MCM still if that means anything

Have you looked or asked on the support threads for any of the three mods mentioned? Have you tried reinstalling JContainers? (Making sure you have the correct version for LE (JContainers-49743-3-3-0-RC-3 is the one I use))

Heroine HoneyCrotch Posted February 4, 2022 Posted February 4, 2022 Open MO, and in left window(Mod list) click on PapyrusUlt and see what is overwriting it(look under conflicts). If it is the sexlab patch for v161 to v162 then uncheck the patch in left window. I think that patch should just be removed, dont think you need it as you have the right SL installed, no need for patch,. You use MO, you can do a backup of your mod list(left window) and plugin order(right window) Use these icons to make back ups and to be able to access them. Think this^ might of helped you if you would of had back ups? You can make backups, and you can go to left window in MO(mod list) and right click anywhere in there so that a pop box comes up, you can disable all active mods, they dont go anywhere they just all get unchecked. With this you can activate only few mods in question to help troubleshoot some problems. When i troubleshoot with that technique I usually will start new game with alt start(very safe mod when testing mods that dont specifically conflict with it) Temporarily deactivate all mods and loading a save game not best idea. First thing I would do would be to get rid of Sexlab Patch v161 to v162 and then do quick test.

I think 'hotfix' is the word I'm looking for there. ? Definitely shouldn't be there nowadays.

No. MO shows his papyrus mod is being overwriting, Jc Containers is not overwriting anything or being overwriting. I thought maybe taht patch for SL they have installed,which isnt needed, was what was overwriting his papyrus mod.

karlbailey Posted February 4, 2022 Author Posted February 4, 2022 thank you all a lot for the help it was the sex lab patch overwriting papyrus, and thank you all for your hospitality and thank you for reminding me about the plugin backup system, i remembered the modlist one but forgot the plugin back up, not sure if it will do anything but i also moved the jcontainer right after skse output files
