   Hello! Recently i've read an article about the most played games on steam in 2021, and found this game, it's pretty fun, it has been out for a while, and no one was talking about it, probably because it is chinese, at this point, the game has been mostly translated to english, the art is good, and the gameplay in the map is very similar to "mount and blade", during missions it is basically "the binding of isaac", most of the game is randomly generated, and you can create your character, there are some options to romance, but i havent tried so far.

   I am posting to see if anyone is interested in modding, i think this game have a lot of potential, and after doing some research, i found out that this game already have mods, but everything is chinese, and i cant find where to download.

   I think it is a Unity game, but i am not sure, and i dont know how hard is Unity modding

Also, I would like a link to where you find those mods screenshots as well. Otherwise either wait for the dev in implement Steam workshop function (which is part of their road map) or check out this website where there are some Chinese mods: https://mod.3dmgame.com/Guigubahuang (You will have to look around yourself, and use extension version of Google Translate to navigate)

If that's the case then what you see might be a mock-up rather than a mod. It might just be an artist rendition/edit that isn't actually apply to the game.

I'll tell you everything I know about this game. Last year, the characters in this game no animation. But the new update makes the character image animated. Mod where you get the screenshot used to work before the game updated the character's image to the animation.

i am trying to create an account, but both the mods website and baidupan need a chinese number for registering, or i am completely dumb and didn't find a way to register without it, but some mods  are downloadable without an account, for troubleshooting i've tried to download this one https://mod.3dmgame.com/mod/174560, and the melonloader https://mod.3dmgame.com/mod/173451?for=download, wich it is a requirement for the mod to work, but i was not able to see the mod in game, i think everything is correctly installed, so it is probably not working anymore since it is a mod released in 04/17/2021. at the moment there are some mods that dont have an easy way to access being outside of china, like this one https://mod.3dmgame.com/mod/174715, wich it is a shame, since it seems to add a lot of content to the game (it is 1,5gb). and if i could download it, there would be issues with localization, since all the text in the mod is probably chinese.

I will try to download some other mods and see if i can make it work

Yeah, it's like Edelweiss said, baidupan also require phone number to register. At this point I somewhat feel that we should just wait for the official workshop; probably easier to install mod when the devs release it.

I don't use 3dm too much, and it gonna take a long time to connect with author. Baidupan(Chiese version Mega) is a Chinese software, so it request Chinese phone number to register, I can't give too much help with it sorry. Some auther may upload them mods on another place so you don't need register. (Thanks for the Edelweiss)

First of all, thanks for the heads up about this game!

 

I literally just bought it yesterday and went on here to see if there was anything for the game. I dug around on the site quite a bit for mods and came to the conclusion that apparently due to the rapid nature of patches - it seems the modding community is waiting for workshop support. Also, the recent addition of animated standing portraits seems to have invalidated a lot of older mods.

 

The one you linked is literally the newest nude mod available for patch 4309. I won't look a gift horse in the mouth, as the game has been very interesting so far to me regardless of mods. I see the small selection available as a bonus!

 

Now back to getting my ass handed to me by random people I apparently pissed off.

The mod on the 3dmgame site randomly goes from "local download" to "network disk download" and I'm not sure what triggers it. It might be a restriction per user (meaning unregistered users like us can only download a certain amount per 24 hours) or a restriction based on the file uploader. In any case if it's the latter (per uploader), I would advise if someone could contact the author directly and nicely ask them if they could keep the file upload on the site available for local download so unregistered users like us can still have access to it. More importantly we're not tryint to re-host the file, we're only trying to get it off of 3dmgame.

probably, in the mod description says "This mod is modified and released by 3DM author " darlingy ", and it is forbidden for anyone to reprint it in any form without permission!".

We don't need to re-upload or re-host the file as long as it's still available to download locally on 3dmod. Best practice would have someone just simply request the file author keep the file downloadable on the site so unregistered users like us can grab it. Everyone's happy, no feathers rustled.

Alright I did work quite a lot with Modding a way back, be it graphical or functionality mods....

What you Will need is

Frameworks:
Butian 2.0.9 → https://gitee.com/ly-moon/Butian.dll/releases
Melon Loader → https://github.com/LavaGang/MelonLoader/releases/tag/v0.5.2
Villain → Working version included in AIO

 

And Graphical/Functionality mods of your choice....
For most texture mods to work you will also need to disable "Dynamic Portraits" option in settings.

Install instructions:

1. Extract AIO pack in "Mods" Folder (Create one)
2. Downloaded latest Melon Loader and overwrite old one
3. Rename folder and Values in .acf files
   
4. Start game, MelonLoader will download necessary redistributables and will create a Mods folder in case you haven't already.
5. Exit the game
6. Now start unpacking your mods.... after some mods are installed your mods folder will look like this.

Melon Loader = Core Framework - without it no mod will work (need folder name in English)
