Always one character or some obscure ones with black face

I finally got all the intended models to work, fixed the Bijin stuff and all of a sudden im getting black face again mid game even though I tested that ALL the affected NPC's didnt have one.

 

Essentially I got this:

and went into the test room spawning all the bijin models just to check if the game is safe to go, and I do mean all 44 Bijin mod had:

- Warmaidens 22 characters

- NPC's 13 characters

- Wives 9 characters

 

I seen no error in the test room with the models after spawning them there, though after I ran the game and played a little all of a sudden I see some characters having black face for no reason, I didnt install anything new aside that tool to spawn them and face discoloration fix(even though it does not work apparently), ran LOOT and payed attention for any warnings or whatever that yellow thing is(if there is a yellow mark on some of them, yes I use SSEEdit to fix it and run LOOT again), and yes FNIS too.

 

I really have no clue what to do and its small stuff like that which ruins the game for me, I dont even know if people here play with black face bugs as long as what they want to work works...

But here is that special one that is not on the list(I know I didnt capture her face that well it was because she moved while I selected the capture option(need to make it into a hotkey...my bad):

I dont have any mod that I know of that mentions her specifically on the list, and here is my list of mods:

I am at my wits end and I dont know what causes that one when she is not even on the list, and to make it worst thats a quest giver to that tree as well...

Try doing this. While in game, find one of these characters with the dark face. Get near enough to them that you could speak to them. Then, open your console (use "~" to do this with an English language keyboard). Click on the character. You should get information about that character that shows up on both sides of their image now (if you already had that BEFORE you clicked on them then don't click on them or click on them again if you've lost it). Anyway, about halfway down on the right side of your screen there will be something that says (something  like) "last modified by this mod" and then the name of the mod. There is a fair chance that the mod named has done something to your NPC that has introduced the dark face.

My advice about learning how to use your mod manager still stands. Look for tutorials by GamerPoets and Gopher.

You have a mod called Women of Skyrim which is going to attempt to change some of the same women as the Bijin mods.

wait... you actually knew which one it was by the plugin? disabled it and it fixed that, also the first guide I already did which helped me a lot, the second one I see for the first time.

are there any more guides? anyway thx for the help and the second guide, as far as GamerPoets goes well I watch his videos though I only found him around 2 days ago, took a break at his episode on SSEEdit to make it a habit to keep the mods clean(maybe I took it to far I admit).

 

as far as Gopher goes.. yea I seen his videos with Vortex but I didnt really like Vortex.

 

if you have more tutorials like the second one ill give them a read, also would appreciate if you see any more problems with the plugins, I honestly dont keep an eye on what plugins each mod downloads.

It's common sense. You are having problems with the Bijin mods which alter female NPCs in Whiterun so the obvious thing is to look for other mods which alter female NPCs in Whiterun. I'd never heard of WoS but it had Whiterun in the name so I did a quick search and read the description page of the mod. All that took about 2 or 3 minutes.

 

Reading the description page of mods is a must.

 

Keep referring back to those two LL guides and keep your eye on the SE threads to keep abreast of what is happening especially with this current AE fiasco. There is a S.T.E.P. guide which will probably be decent. I don't run SE so I haven't read it or used it.

As for video tutorials GP and Gopher have both been around for years and have made tutorials on all sorts of things. I don't know any others off the top of my head as I don't need those sort of tutorials any more.

Overwrite bijin over eveything. Doesn't the 3 esp's need to be disabled and use only the AIO? 

 

About the face discoloration fix mod, it does work. I can 100% confirm that. You just have some face textures that aren't overwriting correctly. 

 

You might want to double check what textures you have installed. Some textures mods doesn't have a esp, but still can apply rules to them wich load first and last when using a mod manager like Vortex. 

Loot does NOT sort that for you.
