Defeat animation works, but does not start automatically.

Hello! I installed sexlab framework and defeat, followed the instruction and updated animations in FNIS. Everything worked, but only for defeat animations, the character stands there. However, if I click esc -> system -> mod config(without changing anything) -> esc(just to close the window). Then the animation start playing. Any idea what is causing this issue? Thank you very much for your time and help!

how long does the character "just stand there"? Animation sequence setup takes some time, (in my game a quick start is about 5-10 seconds of setup on average) and if you're experiencing any script lag when the animation is triggered, that can negatively impact startup time too and increase the delay.Ā  It's possible that when you go into menu or console mode you're simply distracted from noticing the time that's gone by while setup was completed.

Ā

On the other hand, if your player simply stands there for all time (figuratively), ie, if you don't intervene, it'll just stay that way forever, yea something's weird.Ā

It will start even though you do not open MCM menu,,, but sometimes it took 20 seconds or more.. so it is usuall for me..Ā Ā

maybe same thing happen,, if you install anotehr sexlab trigger mods. some mod seems actually took more time than others. I feel. defeat is one mod which I often need to wait, or use console then force it to start.

Ā

you may check,Ā  without open mcm menu, but open consoleĀ  (your assigned), then close it,, it may show same thing. (defeat may start animation with less wait time)

Ā

As for me the delay (defeat of some mod which need to filter or serch animation) is usuall.Ā  Maybe it depend your CPU and animation count which much condition + how many script currently running.. (some mod keep running, with interval)Ā

Hello! Thx for replying guys! After i read ur post i went back to test it. If no user input, the character does stand there forever. However, both MCM menu and console triggers it. I only have sexlab framework and defeat without any extra mod or animation pack. This is so weird lol!

You could try these in your skyrimcustom.ini in your documents (or where you keep your ".ini" files)

[Papyrus]
;; =============================================================================

;; Debug
;; -----------------------------------------------------------------------------
bEnableLogging=0
bEnableTrace=0
bLoadDebugInformation=0
fUpdateBudgetMS=1.4
fExtraTaskletBudgetMS=1.4
fPostLoadUpdateTimeMS=2000
iMinMemoryPageSize=512 ;256
iMaxMemoryPageSize=1024 ;512
iMaxAllocatedMemoryBytes=2457600

Thx for replying! I tried it and it seems that the problem remains. No user input will not start the animation. ;(

I was having a similar issue where hitting escape and backing out of the menu would instantly start the scene, if I didn't do that it would take forever or never start. Able to fully walk around and the defeat aggressors would follow you since they're trying to start a scene. Started happening out of nowhere regardless of what mods are installed and new game or not, never had this issue previously which is odd. But for me it seems it happens a lot more on the 2nd round of defeatĀ
