Casey96 Posted November 21, 2021 Posted November 21, 2021 I'm having some issues with PapyrusUtil, I downloaded it but when I run my game it says it's outdated even though I got the latest version and I'm kinda new to modding Skyrim so I'm not sure how to fix this
Velerion Posted November 21, 2021 Posted November 21, 2021 That's because right now you have the Anniversary Edition, and most mods aren't updated yet. SKSE-Plugins like PapyrusUtil aren't yet updated (althrough there is a beta for it out), and even then it's not clear if mods that use it can work with the new edition, since Skyrim now get compiled with another version of Microsoft Visual Studio. Â In the long run it's better for Skyrim, since it seems that it's more efficient, but right now it's all a big mess right now.

Version 3.9 from February 4th, 2020 is currently the most up to date PapyrusUtl for SE runtime 1.5.97

Just Don't Posted November 21, 2021 Posted November 21, 2021 Skyrim SE 1.5.97 -> PapyrusUtil 3.9 (and Sexlab 163 beta 9) Skyrim SE 1.6.318 -> PapyrusUtil 4.0 (and Sexlab 164) Â Always verify these numbers, if a mod mentions these you'll have problem in case you pick the wrong one.

Just Don't Posted November 22, 2021 Posted November 22, 2021 You can also downgrade your game and keep using the previous SKSE version and mod versions for it. Otherwise you'll be waiting for a while. There are multiple ways to get the previous game version, the downgrade patcher is my first recommendation atm.

I've now tried 3.9 and 4.0 but none of them are working, as for SexLab I'm having issues with that one too no matter which version I use. Idk maybe I'll try downgrading
