XML File reading issue in SIMS 4 For some Animations packaging

Hi,

 

I am facing issue in getting all new animations listed after copying new animations package file for some of the animators. For example- when i copied "MOTHERLODE" Animations package it displays all newly added sex animations in wicked whims but when i copied "GREY NAYA" Animations package file which i downloaded from Patron, SIMS 4 Game keep displaying older animations of GREY NAYA and it never shows new animations. To troubleshoot this i have done following steps:-

 

1.) All animations including all custom CAS Objects are in Mods folder ( no deep down directory structure), @Motherlodesims and @GreyNaya animations are in same folder. @Khlas new sex animations are also not getting displayed, i did changed the gender setting to allow same sex in wicked whims settings. His bulge mesh animations suddenly gone missing after new update and copying updated package file from patron.

2.)I have checked and made sure there is no duplicate animations package file.

3.) Cleared local thumb cache and all cache files.

4.)Repaired game using origin.

5.) Removed and reinstalled game again.

6.)I created my own animation with xml file and added into mods folder and animation displays correctly into Game so this confirms GAME has no issues in getting new package.

 

Would like to check if anyone else is facing similar issue with some of the package bundle creators ? Issue is not consistent for all animation package providers, if it works for MOTHERLODE , it should work for others. even for single package file of my own animation, it does displays it correctly. So i am suspecting SIMS 4 Game may have issues in reading some specific xml snippet files of some animators, please help to confirm if anyone else is facing similar issue.

My wicked whims version is upto date and latest.

Yes i did try ww.fix also but not able to display your bulge animation in teasing category and on bed. it used to display sometime back but after updating your recent package file its missing. issue is not consistent for all sex animation packages, it works for some and it doesn't work for some.

Do you use any other script mod?

 

Do a quick search and be sure that you don't have any duplicate. I know you already verified but you should use the search bar because someone else had the same issue and it was it.

 

Can also be a glitch.  just in case, if you can choose my animations on the context menu (under homoerotic) if you use WW patreon version, then you have the glitch.

All your animations was working before you split your animations and did some renaming. Two animations which i have from you are mentioned below.

WW_KhlasGayOLDAnimations - 2.87 MB
WW_KhlasGayAnimations -57.6 MB

 

If any script or any package causing issue it should create issues for everyone. I created my own animation with xml file and game detects it without any issue. Some other animators latest animations also getting detected.

For your package to troubleshoot, i even your packaged in sims4studio and tried changing some of the sex animations gender settings to Both instead of restricting it to male to verify if it is because of any gender setting issue. when game loaded it did detected that i have around 8 new animations loaded from you ( for 8 settings which i changed gender as both) but i cannot find them in TEASING, VAGINAL,ANAL Category.

As I have already told you on the Patreon - 90% of this is due to a duplicate file in your mods folder. But here's one thing. I just noticed that you posted your animation package here and this is what it looks like

The fact that you used xml of MOTHERLODESIMS makes me think that you have made some changes to my xml as well as to Khlas's file, so now animations don't work for you as they should.

The fact that you used xml of MOTHERLODESIMS makes me think that you have made some changes to my xml as well as to Khlas's file, so now animations don't work for you as they should.

I used MOTHERLODE Xml file because his animations working without any issues always for me in game. I have tried your animation and khlas animations without changing xml also but it didn't worked. I tried changing khlas animations Gender settings to confirm if it is gender related issues as most of his animations are made for Gay. For your file i didn't changed any thing in xml. Is there any limits on game for number of animations it can load? right now i get notification as 10027 sex animations loaded, wicked whims animations does show your animations and khlas animations loaded but when i selected teasing, sofa as object for animation , game does not display your new animations, it does display your old animations. Issue is only with new animations added in your package files, old animations created by you still display.

Ok, that's what you told me on the Patreon:  i checked your xml file and it doesn't have location listed as SOFA, many forumsome animations has location as FLOOR. The trick is that I don't have any foursome animations for the floor but there are six foursome for the couch. What still makes me think that you have changed something yourself and now you have issues with that, if this is not exactly point number one, namely a duplicate file  ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I have checked, there is no duplicate file for greynaya animations. only single file downloaded from patreon.

I have a doubt on pandora sims, i joined patreon and installed pandora sims as well. does anyone know if pandora sims download grey naya and khlas animations and rename them into some other package file name ? he has installer , which installs lot of sex animations and packages as bundle.

@GreyNaya confirmed, pandora sims combine your animation in his installer and distribute on his patron . he has around 51 of your animations included but i have no idea which one is your package file as he has renamed and combined all animations together into installer. I downloaded and reinstalled pandora sims to check if it includes your animation and got notification on wicked whims SIMS that 51 new grey naya animations installed, so he may have joined your patron and downloaded your animations and included in the installer. even @Anarcis animations included. @Motherlodesims animations are not included i guess in his installer so it works. you may want to notify your patron subscribers, if they have pandora sims installed, your latest animations may not work. @Khlas animations i got no notification after installing pandora sims, so i have no idea why his older working animations disappeared after he renamed his package files.

Do you mean that some person sell my animations as well as other creators on they Patreon? If this is true, then it's a pretty serious shit that needs to be notified to the Patreon's support service. But first we need proof. Can you send me this file via DM?

Yes from latest install of pandora sims that is what i can figure out , he is downloading content from patron account of many animators and making it installer file by combining everything together. it is not package file and it is collection of zip files which is pretty big in size. patron  does not allow file size more then 200 MB so PANDORA SIMS Guy split the installer into multiple zip files. On his patron page instruction is to download all zip files and extract them to get installer. installer will install the files but he has renamed all your animations so by looking at files i cannot find out which one is yours but after doing his latest install when i launched sims 4 i got message notification on game - 51 new greynaya animations installed, total 356 plus new sex animations what his October release has that includes content from  many animators, CAS Dress designs , BDSM Animations etc. , so basically he is not creator but collector and making money selling all your hard work. he collects work of everyone, zip them and make installer and get it available to people on patron , everything on one place.

I'm not stunned by this story, since other ppl have grabbing my animations or xml and post it as their own 3 times already lol. But without evidence these are just unfounded accusations so I'm waiting for proof via DM.

You can join pandora sims on patreon for 7 usd and download his installer file if you have way to find out what all installer contains. it is all zipped together in exe file so there is no way to find out your package or files. after installing pandora sims when i got notification 51 new grey naya animations installed, that is what clicked me that pandora sims contains your animations.

@thyash70 pandorasims is known since sims 2 to take others creators content. You should definitely remove his files and not support this site. Not only it’s outdated content, but he also include wickedwhims on his merged file while renaming the mod. 
 

in others words you have duplicate using pandorasim merged package which has the old animations on it. And he sell others creators content so I will personally take action against it. Not only reselling other’s art is scummy and illegal, but it’s also against patreon policy.
 

You should consider a refund if you supported this guy.

super nude mod is just wickedwhims with our animations. @TURBODRIVER this guy literally sell wickedwhims on his patreon page under another name. Don’t know if the mod is available on his site or directly via patreon but judging OP it seems that he does share it on patreon.

I am stuck now, i installed this pandora sims and i do not know what all files it has installed so i have no way to uninstall and remove it. i am trying to figure out way to find the latest installed files and in what all folders. till the time i cannot figure out the way to remove pandora sims, i have no way to get your latest animations working

send me the super nude mod thing you installed or whatever it is so I can create some proofs and shut down his patreon page. Or send me some screenshots if you can from his patreon page.

Also you can probably just reinstall it on another folder and you will see what files you installed and what files you have to remove.

I will take a look at the file, probably a merged package with a weird name. If all creators report it he should be gone.

Here is link for first setup file. multiple files, copy them in one folder and extract all. run setup.exe. it has lot of animations .

there is another file for ORGY Animations, i am uploading that as well and i believe ORGY file may have your animations.
