xenic Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 I was running CBBE on my desktop so maybe that was the issue. The laptop had no body mods. Currently the Nexus seems to be down. Would you happen to have any links to skeleton/ animations and body? You can use the stuff from the TBBP thread here on LL. Trykz The links are broken. I'm really not sure what else to do at this point.
Alliere Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 here is another location for the tbbp stuff that i use http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/34713/? which requires the tbbp skeleton from http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/26800/? sorry if its slow loading i noticed i have been having problems with their site and not sure if its just me
xenic Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 here is another location for the tbbp stuff that i use http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/34713/? Would you be kind enough to show me your load order. I am assuming you have Trykz's mods running. I'm using the files mentioned but still am getting crashes.
Alliere Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 those arn't any load order as they replace character files in the data folder (had to edit it so it took a while since nexus hates me today)
xenic Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 those arn't any load order as they replace character files in the data folder (had to edit it so it took a while since nexus hates me today) I'm just at a loss as to why it's not working. I can generally fix an issue like this but this one has me stumped. I've been working with it all day.
Alliere Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 do what i do when i get a issue like this ( i delete everything in the data folder except for skyrim esm / esp and the expansions) and install addons one at a time
xenic Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 do what i do when i get a issue like this ( i delete everything in the data folder except for skyrim esm / esp and the expansions) and install addons one at a time I am reinstalling Skyrim on my laptop right now. I will see what happens in the morning.
Alliere Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 best of luck when you have a fresh install if you have no ENB installed save a copy of your data folder before you install anything and then you will have a blank slate to do the installs with again if you have issues again so as to not have to re-install everything)
Aediway Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 Hello, I am new to adding mods to Skyrim, so bear with me a little when I dont seem to know what to do. I downloaded your moonshadow elf race, and the other mods that was required to us it. I think I have them in the right spot, when I launch skyrim and go to data files it shows them in there so I assume I did it correctly. This is the order in which I placed them: Dawnguard Dragonborn HearthFires RaceCompatibility TCRA MoonshadowElves Now on to the problem I am having. I am not sure if this was included in the mod or not, but I cannot seem to get the hair styles you are using in your screenshots that you took for your race. Also, at night the skin does not change or alter in any way, however the tattoos do get shinier. Where do I put the skeleton_femaile.nif and skeleton.nif files, cant seem to figure that one out. Hardware: Windows 7 64-Bit Home Edition i7 - 3820 CPU @ 3.6 GHz (8 core) 16 GB Ram NVIDIA GeForce GTX 670 2GB 250GB SSD Samsung 1 TB HDD Samsung
xenic Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 Well. I have tried everything I know to do. I've even reinstalled Skyrim, run it with just TCRA and a race, then with CBBE and Dragonfly's TBBP, racial compatablitiy was on every time. I love the races but I just seem to be out of luck. Whenever I click on the race, I get a crash. Oddly enough, if I don't check TCRA ( i know i need it) I can select the race, it just has no face. I've ruled out a mod confilct but could there be some issue with TCRA file? I'm just not sure what else to do.

I've ruled out a mod confilct but could there be some issue with TCRA file? I'm just not sure what else to do. There's obviously no issue with TCRA. It works fine for everyone else. And for those who have had issues, once they determined what it was they're missing that prevents the mod from working properly, it works for them as well. Earlier you said you run Skyrim with mods on your desktop. Are any of them mine, and are they working properly on that? If so, then the issue is with your laptop's Skyrim installation. Crashes are almost exclusively centered on a skeleton issue, or selecting the male gender of a race that doesn't have one. If you've done all that you've said, then I can only ask this once more: Do you have a compatible first person skeleton installed in the proper location? It should be found in the Data\meshes\actors\character\_1stperson folder. If it's not, then unpack the following, and drop it into your Data\meshes\actors\character folder: _1stperson.rar Trykz

Second, the hairs come from a Hair Pack. There are tons scattered throughout the forum and on the Nexus. Third, the two .nif files should most likely be put here: Data\meshes\actors\character\character assets female
Trykz Posted July 23, 2013 Author Posted July 23, 2013 Bet he didn't use the potion found in the inns, or he used the wrong one Trykz

Female selected, selected race "Kerran Shar" *crash.* I'll play around with various skeletons and see what happens.
WaxenFigure Posted July 24, 2013 Posted July 24, 2013 ... Dawnguard Dragonborn HearthFires RaceCompatibility TCRA MoonshadowElves ... Actually I did post my load order. Will look in the inn again. Load order is wrong, DLCs should be loaded in the order they were released, Hearthfire, Dawnguard and then Dragonborn. It shouldn't make a difference but it can.
Trykz Posted July 24, 2013 Author Posted July 24, 2013 Hey folks, just wanted to make everyone aware that all of my mods will be moving to the Downloads section in the near future. I plan to move the TCRA download link onto the same Download page so it can be more easily located and referenced. Once this process is complete, support for all of my race mods and TCRA will be provided in the new thread exclusively, and I will be requesting that this thread (and the TCRA thread) be removed/closed. This should make support much more efficient for me, as everything related to my race mods will be isolated in a single location. I also plan on organizing things into a much better structure, such as the skeletons and BodySlide presets I use, so things can be found much more easily, and in a more sensible manner. Images for each race will be in the form of attachment thumbnails right on the download page, with the link to the download attachment right after it. I may have to re-upload everything. So if this thread disappears for a day or so, please be patient, and avoid posting threads asking where my mods went, as I work to get everything restructured. Thanks, Trykz
Monsto Brukes Posted July 24, 2013 Posted July 24, 2013 I WAS JUST about to ask where the "master list of download links" was. GJ... hope the organization works out.
Trykz Posted July 25, 2013 Author Posted July 25, 2013 Transition complete It was easier than I expected it to be. I have requested that this thread be removed. All support for both TCRA and my race mods will be provided in the new downloads thread. Thanks, Trykz

Lock, sure, but delete ugh... It costs nothing to just leave it here, but could potentially cost data to delete it. IMO Just close it off with a pointer to the new thread(s).
Konak Posted July 27, 2013 Posted July 27, 2013 Does this race avalible for NPC or just for PC? I mean does she exist in the world of skyrim just like another NPC?
greybahl Posted August 5, 2013 Posted August 5, 2013 Urf. I don't know what's wrong with me but... I can get Chocolate Elves and Moonshadow elves working just fine, but I cannot get the one race I want most, Demoness. I've tried at startup, and into an existing game, (setrace) and showracemenu but whenever I select Demoness it crashes. I have XP32's latest UNPB BBP skeleton. I can try placing the skeleton in your download page instead...
ShrOMe Posted August 27, 2013 Posted August 27, 2013 What happened to the frost elves? D: Yeah, I too would like to know where the link for Frost Elves is.
