Just in case: don't overwrite XPMSE with SOS, even better: don't install the SOS skeleton. Did you choose the non naked version in SOS FOMOD (not sure if that option even exists ^^)
Twist1256 Posted October 26, 2021 Author Posted October 26, 2021 So the starting places it puts you in LAL loads fine but when I step out into Skyrim i.e. leaving that initial cell I just CTD and to answer the second question now I just have the AIO pussy mod and SOS full edition which thee AIO requires the SOS to be installed. Also I've ran it through loot nothing seems wrong, but I am using the outdated NMM I wanna switch to MO2 I just don't want to redownload everything.

If you removed all the files because you wanted to get rid of the ENB (the preset) and you didn't switch to ENBoost then that will likely be a factor in your CTD problems

Actually it worked for about an hour then EBT started to cause black boxes for textures and it just started crashing after 2-5 minutes with the character being in the open world. So I’m going with the nuclear option. I’m uninstalling all the mods deleting everything and reinstalling the game working from the ground up. Wish me luck lol

Make a test. I remember it made issues with SOS, but it might be only one plugin of EBT that maybe overwrites the schlong texture? If you lost any overview over what you manipulated, nuking is the way to go. What you could check is: leftovers of your ENB experiment? Did you remove all files related to the last installed ENB? after removal of mods you still have other mods installed that where patched for the removed mods (for example during FOMOD install) you installed something manually and forgot about it skyrim and skyrimpref config files are still configured to your ENB, you can run BethINI to repair those you changed your ENB to ENBoost configuration but still have an ENB preset installed and also enblocal.ini isn't configured right no skse.ini and no crash fix installed crash fixes configured wrong you only deactivated mods in NMM instead of uninstalling them if not needed anymore you forgot what mod files you overwrote during mod installation or never cared and now it hunts you (for example, PapyrusUtil, XPMSE...) Do you wait for all mods to load or just rush into Skyrim and hope for the best? More possible ways to mess up but helpful in the long run for experiments. NMM limits you to one profile (more profiles are possible, but not ideal with NMM, because it writes directly in skyrim/data). NMM also forces you to know why you install what and remember what you overwrote and why.

Also it could be that extra enb file I didn’t notice. I did run bethini and manually removed the enb files then re-verified files in case I deleted any core files. I wait for about 45 mins in LAL starting area before I step out.

Yea I usually wait I’m always doing something so it’s nice to let it load even if it takes extra time. I’ve already nuked it so I’m going back through and redoing some mods. Is AIO viable or should I just switch to using each individual mod related to it?

Both is okay, because AIO is a collection for easy install of all needed individual mods. I only have experience with UUNP path and AIO-P. If you are not sure what is needed to install the body of your choice then AIO-P is a great solution. Just don't install anything AIO-P creature related if you want to use MNC SLAL later on.
