Animal animations issues + Estrus Chaurus+

Yesterday I spent a good chunk browsing through the forums and looking all the posted solution and so on, but nothing did fix the sex animations for the animals for me. It's the typical problem of, the human animates, but the animal is standing still, be it trolls, wolves or anything else. I have creature framework, FNIS, FNIS Animals (or how was it called), checking in Sexlab the corresponding tab for the animations, I have animal animations, when turning on Skyrim I have dragon doing horse who does wolf who do someone else so I assume it is part of one of animation packs or something, I have sexlab aroused. I am truly lost at this point what I should do, I did these steps as well :



5. make sure you have "Allow Creature Animation" checked in SexLab's MCM settings.

 

6. turn off "Match Creature Gender" in sexlab's MCM settings, if this setting is enabled some animations won't play.

 

7. did you forget to install the FNIS Creature Pack? install it and rerun the GenerateFNISforUsers.exe, then do steps 5 & 8

 

8. you may need to reload the animations, go to the Animation Loader's MCM and then:
8.1. click on the "Disable All" button.
8.2. click on "Rebuild Animation Registry", then Wait for the message to pop up*.
8.3. click on "Reload JSON".
8.4. click on "Enable All".
8.5. click on "Count Animations" and make sure nothing is over 650, turn off some animations if they are.
8.6. click on "Register Animations", then Wait for the message to pop up*.
*if you like you can press "~" on your keyboard to open the console so you can watch it Register everything, just make sure you close it before you try to click on anything.

Not to make another topic, to not clutter the forums, this may be related to the first issue or not, but I also have problem with Estrus Chaurus+, not only with "Live another life" mod where I would like to start as Chaurus breeder, as pregnancy doesn't work for me, but when Chaurus spits, it doesn't do the tentacle animations (despite the chance being even boosted to 100%).

 

I am not sure anymore what to do with either mods, last 2 days I spend bugfixing plenty of my mods and the creatures + Estrus Chaurus+ are the only ones left to fix and all the solutions I found didn't help in it

That comes from Horny Creatures of Skyrim.

 

It would be a good idea to post your FNIS output (the text which appears when you have run FNIS)  - copy and paste the whole of it here.

 

In SL Animation Loader animations have to be registered and enabled so check that if you haven't already.

The DebugData.txt is related to the MO from what I gathered

There's a separate animation registry thing in the EC+ MCM, and it's slightly finicky.  You have to go in there and enable the animations with a click.  It may look like it isn't doing anything at first but it should give you a quick message in the upper left.  All you do from there is wait a second, and close out of the menu.  Give it about a minute to register.  Then look in the menu again, and they should be registered.  I don't recall if you would need to also go back into SLAL and do anything at this point, just see if it works before doing anything else.  The only thing that would prevent it from registering is if you are at the 500 animation limit (I think)

If you are using MO or MO2 are you sure you have FNIS installed correctly for them?

 

FNIS output should end something like this:

Yeah went through that as well, still nothing

That's weird then, no, there is nothing like that and I followed the exact instruction how to set FNIS, maybe I did set something wrong... Any idea what might have went wrong possibly? The human x human animations actually work, so I thought FNIS is done correctly

I was going to suggest Sexlab Animation Loader (SLAL) reset settings but just saw you earlier quoted the SLAL reset instructions so I'll assume you already tried that (and then re-ran FNIS after you did so), but if you click to have SLAL tell you how many animations are enabled, what does it say?

Maybe that's also related to your creature animations.

 

Check how many animations you have registered with SLAL (use count animation in SLAL MCM)

Check in SL MCM in debug how many animations are installed. If you see human and/or creatures animation 500/500 you might have more animations installed than you can register in SL. All animations over those max 500 SL registered animations won't work and you don't get a warning for that.

 

 

Estrus+ will fail to register it's animations if over 500 animations are registered to SL.

Check in Estrus+ MCM if the animations are active (ticked checkboxes)

Check if you if you have installed EstrusforSkyrim v241(?) and not the newest version v250

 

 

check here how to start a new game and make sure estrus+ registers right:

 

the reason:

don't register SLAL versions too early or Estrus+ can't register it's animations because there are no animation slots left in SL

Estrus+ needs one save load cycle to register it's animations

 

basically:

1. newgame

2. save/load

3. wait for estrus+ animations to be registered

4. now you could register SLAL animations and check if you don't activate more than 500/500 animations

 

Alternatively this helps with the animation limit:

 

 

you don't want to start a new game to test:

unregister all animations from SL

estrus+ mcm reactivate all animations

reregister all SLAL animations (but not more than the limit you see in SL, default 500)

It says I have 494 animations

Yeah, I am not sure how to remove that either, I tried different things that MO2 guides say and this still persists :/

Yeah, tried this too and I have 494 animations, Estrus animations are ticked too

Sorry, I don't use MO so I've no idea how to set up FNIS.

A couple of suggestions:

You could have a look at this guide, it's for SE but the MO section might give you some ideas about FNIS.

Check if there is anything at this location - F:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Skyrim\data\tools\GenerateFNIS_for_Users\temporary_logs\DebugData.txt (assuming that is where Skyrim is installed).

Are there any FNIS related files in MO overwrite? If so they need to be dealt with.

I finally fixed it and the solution was weird - after installing it in MO, I had to copy the files of FNIS into Skyrim folder and then in MO set the path of FNIS inside Skyrim folder, then launch and it would do all the animations. It was weird, but the creatures finally work so yay for that!

The issues with Estrus+ still persists though, when Chaurus spit at me there are no tentacles or anything :/ and I believe thanks to that (or maybe it's another issue altogether), the start with being Chaurus impregnated (or was it breeder, I don't remember the name now) in live another life doesn't seem to work, as in, I am not pregnant whatsoever

If the Estrus+ animations are registered there might be another issue.

If you have any combat overhaul mods that change chaurus attack damage you might need to overwrite it with Estrus+ or/and move Estrus+ below all chaurus effecting mods in LO.

Conflict resolution via xEdit patch or smashed patch could help too.
