Oh, I know the difference.  OBME doesn't play well with 'older' versions of OBSE.  That's why I wonder if you are using a version of OBSE such as version 0018 or older.

 

The updated Tamago/Hiyoko and related mods are also currently OBME users.  Just so you are aware.

Im using xOBSE v22.4.1
