Gemb Posted August 9, 2021 Posted August 9, 2021 Hey guys! I'm really sorry if this has already been answered, but I'm having trouble. My game will keep either CTD (sometimes on start, sometimes mid-game) or just be a black screen with voices/noise in the background. It doesn't happen all the time, but it happens enough that I can barely play anymore. I'm wondering if it has to do with my mod order being wrong? Sgt. Marge Posted August 9, 2021 Posted August 9, 2021 Hi, If you haven't seen these guides, they explain how to make it more stable. Skyrim LE Stability Guide Conglomerate 01 - Installing Skyrim, Stability Fixes, Tools Conglomerate 02 - Basic Setup: Installation of SLF, DD, ZAZ, MNC and their Patches (+Optional) Are you using "LOOT" to help sort the load order? The best way to get a stable load order is with LOOT, and reading through all the mod descriptions at the very least, to see if the author has identified things that should be loaded before or after their mod. Sometimes it is necessary to even read through all of the support pages as well, or at least do a CTRL+F for "Load Order". But at the very least, LOOT and pray is a good first step. Along with following all the steps in the Stability link above, and check the other 2 links to see if there's other things you haven't done yet.

You are only supposed to choose one. If you are using XPMSE (which you should be) then you don't really need Realistic Ragdoll at all.

I always do read the mod descriptions to see if there's conflicts but I must have missed that one since it was one of the first things I've ever installed ?

Okay I just read up on it, I installed the "Plugin Files Only (esp)" because it said to install that one if you were using a bodymod. I didn't install any other version of it. I'm guessing since XPMSE already has it I can get rid of the Plugin Files Only then and it'll still work with the mods that need it as a requirement.

Fron the Realistic Ragdolls description page: XPSME - Includes the realistic version plugin settings so you don't need to install this mod. You will only need this mod if you want a different force setting or the animal and creature ragdolls: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/29622/?
