17 file multi-part archive

Voice pack for Sexist Guards located:

https://www.loverslab.com/topic/62724-sexistderogatory-guards-npcs-and-player-comments/?do=findComment&comment=2283055

NOTE: Screenshot below shows files as created by me.

LoversLab forum software may rename by adding a long number plus the underscore character "_" to the front.

If that happens you will be required to change the filenames back!

Installation:

1. Download all files to a working folder

2. Rename the files if required {see NOTE: above}

3. Right-click .001 file and select "Extract Files" from 7Zip menu

4. Right-click folder that is created and select "Add to Archive" from 7Zip menu

5. Install resulting folder as you would any mod

Could you post the voice files that we could hear them?

I'm not sure what you are asking.

If you are asking for samples, I don't provide them.

It's enough work as it is.

Fair, is there any way for us to access the MP3 files so we can hear them?

Thank you for making this, it must have taken quite a lot of effort. Unfortunately though, I can't seem to install any of these files. You added the number after the .7z file extension, so my system doesn't recognize them as zip files. I tried renaming them to remove the number, but then trying to install with MO or unzip with 7Zip throws an error: "Can not open file as archive." Could you possibly reupload the files with the proper .7z extension? Apologies if I'm missing something.

There are no .MP3 files

There used to be .WAV files, but they were converted to .XWM files and then merged with .LIP files.

The process deletes them, because for this voice pack, there was 23+ GB of .WAV files.

And 9+ GB of .LIP files.

I simply don't have the the room to archive that volume of files.

Instructions are on the first post.

You need 7Zip installed to do anything with the files. https://www.7-zip.org/

The Loverslab forum software sometimes renames the files by adding a number plus the underscore to the front of the files.

I provided a screenshot to show what the files were supposed to be.

Change the filenames to match the screenshot.

The number on the end is 7Zip's method of naming multipart archives and the .001 file is the master file.

I use 7Zip because it's open-source, free, efficient and works with almost all the compression formats, while not being nag-ware.

Again nothing I've said here wasn't in the first post. Please read the first post again, and follow the instructions.

Other users are getting it to work.

Ah, okay. My problem was that I need to add a space between "Sexist" and "Guards" in the filenames. All the files I downloaded had no space expect for #17 for some reason. Anyway, thanks for the help.

No problem, I just wish the forum wouldn't rename them randomly.

This time 16 of 17 files were renamed.

Another one I posted had 10+ files and none were renamed.

Oh, my mistake then. Just as a recommendation for future stuff you do, you might want to include some sample .WAV files. Do you also plan to give Sexlab Survival the voice treatment?

I think I speak for all the future "me's".

I will not make separate samples.  that last symbol is a period.

It's enough work as is.

SexLab Survival has already been done.

That's three times you've asked for the same thing.

Any more and I'm going to start to think you're a TROLL.

Don't ask again.

I know how to use 7-ZIP pretty well but am not clear on your instructions:

1. Download all files to a working folder

2. Rename the files if required {see NOTE: above}

3. Right-click .001 file and select "Extract Files" from 7Zip menu

4. Right-click folder that is created and select "Add to Archive" from 7Zip menu

5. Install resulting folder as you would any mod

I've done what you said, and on step 4, I do that, but what do you do with the other 16 files...do you also select those when creating the new archive? Your instructions above make it seem like you're only adding the one folder? And then ignoring the other files? Can you be a tad more specific in your instructions. It would be super appreciated. Thanks.

Thank you for your giant effort making this. I renamed them as your screenshot and i can only extract the part 1. Is this correct?

image.png.14adfee5f448acf2a5a4c52e37e836df.png

Or i need to extract more? Because other don't extract...

Behind the scenes 7Zip starts with the .001 file and extracts the contents of all the files in the set.

You just don't see it.

The screenshot StrongBlade added here shows the finished result.

That was specific, and the results are there. You don't need to do anything with the other 16 files other than make sure they are named as per MY screenshot specifically.

Is that SPECIFIC enough for you?

Yep. Very helpful! Thanks!

Was looking forward to voices for this mod. How did you deal with Narrator and player lines?

I didn't.

All Dialogue is processed by Synth SW, including Narrator & Player Character.

If the MOD assigns voice model to either than they work.

If not, they don't.

I just ran Content Consumers Alternate Starts mod, and chose Slavery option through Simple Slavery.

I had voice running for Player and Actors for:

Simple Slavery

Cursed Loot

Sexist Guards

JailRape

Spank That Ass

It helps with Immersion

It was never my intention to do such. I am NOT a troll. I was only making a recommendation that keep you a copy of the .WAV files and post them as samples. I'm also unfamiliar with inner workings of sound mods. I'm sorry if I was annoying. For future reference you should be more patient with people who ask questions.

And yet you managed to make a fourth attempt . . .

Fourth and final time, no samples

Files from .001 not extracting.
Their names are corrected with screenshot and all spaces/numbers/etc. (my files now look exactly like on the screenshot).
I've even reinstalled 7z with your link version from comments (dunno if it had effect).
It always gives an error "Unexpected end of data".

InstaEdit:
For some reason (maybe my stupid actions before) files 3, 4, 6, 7, 17 was read by system as 7z archives, while all the other not. So I renamed those particular to 'Sexist Guards_Voice.7z' without numbers and Voila - 1-st archive extracting as intended.

I'm going to paste a screenshot here.

It's from the Windows Explorer "View" menu.

You need to enable View "File Name Extensions"

image.png.1be25117c99dae937b873c35353e2acb.png

Then take a screenshot again and post it here

@Tautochrone did you get things figured out?
