Gothimaya Posted July 24, 2021 Posted July 24, 2021 Origin made me update either yesterday or Wednesday. So it's the latest patch/update. After I was forced to update the sims, I automatically checked for updates to Wicked Whims, MCCC, and Better Exceptions. After updating everything, the sims itself wouldn't load up. So I redid everything, and still nothing. Went through, made copies of everything, and proceeded to add one mod or CC at a time and load the game to see what broke everything. Found it, deleted it. Restarted computer and refreshed programs. I can play the sims again, but unfortunately WW is still broken. Double checked to be sure I didn't make any hasty mistakes. Made sure I took the proper files out of the top files. Fixed a Nisa folder in the process. Still doesn't work. I've deleted like... 80% of my CC and animations pertaining to WW just in case and proceeded to redownload a small amount from scratch. Still broken. And when I run BE, it points out the WW files specifically. It's the latest update, I've been trying this the last two/three days trying to be absolutely sure I didn't miss something stupid. Sorry it's long-winded, but I've tried everything I can think of honestly. Perhaps someone can find something to help? lastException.txt BE-ExceptionReport-20210723-152444.html
Crashdown117 Posted July 24, 2021 Posted July 24, 2021 Those files look like they have been generated before you updated everything. Â Your Better Exceptions report says that you're running MCCC version 2021.1 (latest is 2021.1.1) and WW v165e (latest is v165g). It also includes a warning about OneDrive, so maybe cloud sync is reverting you to some older mod versions (it can also prevent mods like WW from accessing their own files, so disable cloud sync for your "Documents" folder, if it's enabled). Additionally, the LE states your version of Nisa's as 3.1b (latest is 3.1d). Â You might want to delete any LE report and log files in "Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4" (where you should also delete "localthumbcache.package, just to be safe).
Scorpio Posted July 24, 2021 Posted July 24, 2021 OneDrive hates The Sims so it's best to uninstall it first IMO.
Gothimaya Posted July 24, 2021 Author Posted July 24, 2021 Okay. Let me redownload and double check everything. But I swear I clicked the latest version of the mods and redownloaded them... Maybe I'm just tired. Thanks for taking the time to give me some feedback. Update soon.  Update: So far so good! I'll still have to redownload some things, but as far as I have seen this fixed it. Sorry it was so obvious, but much gratitude!
WENN78899999999 Posted July 26, 2021 Posted July 26, 2021 Hey what did you do for your WW mods to be back on the game ? I reinstalled and it still didn't work.
