Problem with Devious devices arm binder animation

Hi everyone.

 

I have recently started using the devious devices mod and when testing it out I found the animations are not working for the armbinders, as you can see in the attached image the character just loses theirhands and then walaks around as noraml.

 

any help with this would be much appreciate

I've tried installing the mod, the problem is still happening, would this have anything to do with bodyslide or outfit studio? I think I set it up correctly but am not 100% sure if I did

Please post your load order in a spoiler tag or post the plugins.txt file.  I think there's more than one reason this can occur and it's not uncommon. 

 

- Make sure all your animations are registered in Sexlab

- Are you using Sexlab Animation Loader?  Make sure all the animations are enabled there

- Are you using SLIF?  Make sure it's not overwriting Zadlibs

 

The file that was posted earlier I think is just for NPC's, I don't think it fixes player characters but it is useful, just make sure you have the right version of it, because there's 2 main version of Devious Devices still in use.  There's the newer 5.x version of Devious Devices, which some of the newer version of mods are starting to require, and there's the legacy 4.x version of Devious Devices.  So you need to pay attention to which version you are trying to use and what mods require.

DD has a checkbox "let DD filter animations"

In addition to what T-lam just posted, if you are using ZAP there is also an animation filter in it.  Make sure only 1 of the 2 mods (Devious Devices (DD) or ZAP) has animation filter enabled.  You'll see a little warning about it in the ZAP MCM but it's easily missed.

i have one that says "use animation filter" and yes its checked.

alright so i have found both of what you are talking about and i have tried both variations ZAP on DD off, ZAP off, DD on and it still isnt working. unless is there anything i need to do after i click the settings (reload the game? ect.)

i think its not just the armband but all the animations. like ball gag is in my chin and my legs still go the full movement in the hobble dress

No. That's where it's supposed to be.

That's been known to cause problems for Skyrim modding in the past. UAC sometimes prevents other programs (such as FNIS) from editing files in the Program Files folders.

Just in case:

Mods that used older DD versions can break the armbinder idles or certain mod functions:

• Slaverun Reloaded => there is a patch around, check support topic
• Very old DD mods that add DD functions that are now integrated in DDi (if only I could remember it's name)
• everything else would be conflicts with the 360° walking/running while wearing an armbinder
• and of course the right patches in FNIS should be checked

im not fully sure what did it. but the things i did where. 1 i moved the steam directory out of the (program x86) file (i think this is the most likely what fixed it). and 2 i reinstalled Skyrim and all of my mods. making sure to download the masters first in order of what they needed) this was the video i used for moving the steam files

I am having same problem and even with SLAL or Sex Lab or Devious Devices no animations at all all are occurring. Here is my load order. I also need to figure out how to remove old unused plugins from my list.
