It's probably Commonwealth Moisturizer. Look on its MCM and change the slot to one that says “FX”.

Nah, must be interference from another mod that changed their voicetype. You're not the first to report it, but the other reports were with other characters. I have no idea which mod changes voicetypes, but it's definitely not one of my recommended ones. It must be a relatively new mod with a new feature, because it only started a couple of weeks ago.

 

Lip movements are not synchronized. I simply try but they never come out right, only if the dialogues are veeery short.

Nora's route is tough... but not that tough. It also becomes much lighter because, precisely in that period I made that mod.

Now if the whole Nora route is too rough for you play the Norita route. Much lighter heck even have a romance route to it. Think that path would be more your speed.

 

The whole failing to knee for Maxson caught me totally off-guard.  I had previously only played the independent Nora path, so I didn't think failing to kneel would elicit such an over the top response.  An interesting surprise.

In that instance the Overboss was more of a pimp rather than a warlord. So he would get angry if you don't do services to his close ones, like Maxson, Savoy, the VIPs, or the plastic surgeon. Then I decided to change it and tone it down a bit. He became more jealous and would say that it bothered him to put Nora to work at the Nuka Club because he was starting to feel more attached to her. 

 

That's the thing about building the mod in parts. You keep changing and changing as new situations arise. I had told refilum that if I could go back in time I would have structured Nora's story with the Overboss as a warlord (like now) rather than a pimp. 

 

But it's not as simple as rewriting a book. The mod itself is a whole house of cards that can fall down with every change. It's not worth spending months to do a restructure.

This one got me too. I thought I was supposed to show fangs, but I guess not here.

 

THEN all my friends turned on me in the marketplace so I scrapped that playthrough. I'll need to start again.

I can't even imagine how much work that would be to rewrite. Might almost be easier to start from scratch and copy paste, but probably massive work.

I wrote it more as a comedy than something serious. But, yeah, the quest itself was already screaming “Make a separate mod for this theme and call it Slavers”. 😬

Hi. I faced the same problem, I installed the latest Nuka Ride and Nuka Ride World Patch, I play the same way with C. Slavers. The characters inside the rented house turn black, there were no problems outside it

In addition to the Nuka World patch, do you have the CWSS or BYOP patch? Because the conflict may be there. Disable that patch (CWSS or B.Y.O.P.) for a moment and test it again.

Yes, it worked. I disabled the CWSS patch and the characters became normal

Thank you, I hope this will be fixed in the future. CWSS patch is sometimes needed.

Thanks, I'm a dialogue freak, love writing that 😆 Nora becomes a vigilante at the end of Slavers. I highly doubt she wants to go to a porn studio. But the possibility of joining Golden Globes is there.

Well I'll be! Never once looked at the MCM options for that!

 

I'll fix the CWSS lighting issue in a little bit.  It's already been updated. 🤦‍♂️

It was just surprising.  The game is more interesting when there are unexpected consequences to seemingly innocuous decisions.

But, yeah, the overboss does seem to be a bit bi-polar on the Nora route!

 

I do like the trade-off the way Gage treats Nora depending on if she is part of the OB's harem or not.  It creates interesting choices.

no, the glitch is passable if you save it before talking to the overboss

I take it Nora's story isn't finished yet and is put on pause because of Norita's path? After Far Harbor the overboss gave Nora the red rocket parking lot as a territory in Nuke World and after that there was a message that this is the end of the mod!

Duke may appear dead if you have Commonwealth Slavers installed.

 

The simple thing to do (not to start over), click on Duke and type resurrect.

I really hope that in version 7 Nora will gain brains and will be able to convince the boss not to humiliate and insult her, and also gain combat experience and will no longer be ridiculed and called dreamy and stupid! By the way, my rating of the mod has changed from 9 to 9.7! Maxson and his boots are going to hell 😀 and Nora's diploma, which can only be used to wipe one's ass, too! I will look forward to the denouement, I wonder how it will all end, Will Nora become a cool raider (she sometimes calls herself that in dialogues) on the entire east coast or will she remain a shadow and white-assed sc.m in the hands of the dark lord, time will tell!!!!

Help sos I clicked the dead and typed resurrect and my game crashed....!  What shall I do help

in the quest list on the mod main page, how accurate and up to date is that? 

 

On a norita test, I havent seen poker night come up and my character has already reached the boris and baldwyn quests.
