Cooper has a problem getting on the cross, yeah, but if you talk to him he says “I'm on my way, officer” and kicks a script to force it immediately there. 

 

I'm going to do the same thing for the Mayor.

 

But I didn't have something like Sophie's happen to me. The cane shouldn't be able to get him off the cross since they don't do damage. But I'll check it out.

If I ask to dance, it also doesn't trigger anything, but if I setstage 50 I can talk to the cameraman. After that it updates to get payment, but talking to Corsican doesn't get paid, it just cycles the normal text. Setstage 60 will then get me paid, and will trigger the "ask for another job" which wasn't coming up before, but still doesn't trigger apollo when I go through that speech tree.

 

I can setstage 80 and start the scene (apollo is missing though), and talking to Corsican after just goes back to the get Apollo dialoge tree (without activating it after)

Something is very wrong. Do you have a lot of mods installed? All the aliases are as optional, a quest should be able to start 100%, it literally has no conditions to start. 

 

Reinstall my mod and choose to install the source code. 🤔

Yeah, I have a heap of mods installed. I assumed it was either mod conflicts or because I had to set stage earlier, but figuired I'd check incase it was a bug.

 

I'll mess around with my other mods and see what happens

@JB. Found a issue latest version not gamebreaking but after finishing the whole tattoo quest in goodneighbor. Rising porn star quest say I need to book a appointment with the overboss. I don't think it must be there for the young girl path. It does not do anything. But I thought I just mention it.

 

 

Edit: Ok this becomes a bigger problem than I thought I cannot continue. Charlotte keeps telling me to no let the OB wait to long. No other quests pop up.

 

OK figured it out it happens if you talk to charlotte before handing in the new ride quest.

Just did a test, rolled back to 6.6 and the quest triggered as expected, so not sure what the issue could be

I want to install this mod bit I have already progressed a lot in the game. Currently level 31, Nuka world quest is up to the point I have listened to the radio and now have to take the train to Nuka world. But I have not visited Nuka world yet.

 

Completed all the good neighbour and diamond city side quests, fetch quests. Bos prydwen arrived, not yet visited. 

Rescued Nick, killed Kellogg, now have to speak to piper.

Railroad just working through side quests and radiants. 

Minuteman just building settlements. 

 

Will this have any impact on the Nuka ride story?

 

Other mods: fo4 horizon, hardship, harassment

Should be fine, disable Harassment and maybe Hardship from MCM to avoid hijacking NPCs and interrupting conversations, and stay away from the train station! No idea what Horizon does though.

 

Lucy in the Sky may cause a mismatch with the Abernathy settlement's population, pretty sure it simultaneously reads Lucy as a bed taken up but not assigned/able to anything in the settlement.

Axary is quite close to my interpretation. The OB wants you captured as a plan “B”.  In the new update I put a better justification for why he doesn't want to give you a gun instead of a simple “Heh, funny girl” and as you can see he knows there's can't just be one guy. The problem is that sometimes I don't convey some things clearly.

From a roleplaying point of view it doesn't make sense, this mod is built on the assumption that Nora doesn't know how to fight and doesn't know many things that your character already knows. I don't know, for me it's simpler to start a separate save and try it. It's not like you're going to need those cool weapons that I'm sure you already have. 😃

If you already had it, then it can't be NW patch. Some script may deactivated it. I'll take a closer look tomorrow. 

 

In the meantime, " SetStage _NukaRide_TheOverboss 400 " should enable it again.

On the previous playthrough I did not have an updated nukaworld patch and it was fine. I installed the new version 1.0.7 this morning. I will do some testing. Will figure it out.

I think she literally pulled out her laser pistol and shot him a few times lol

 

Not exactly sure what aggro'd her but when she whipped him he fell out of the cross

It's possible to start 6.4.7 starting from Drumline diner. If you install the mod a robot might spawn or follow you to give you the pamphlet I think or at least near Sanctuary. 

 

The alt 6.7 route (younger character) is preferably for a new save as it starts right out of Vault 111 when you come out of cryo

Kellogg has a small role in this version

 

Main story shouldn't affect anything 

I don't play Horizon but I know there's plenty discussions here about it. I know Harassment can cause problem to scripts during quest so just turn it off mid quest you should be fine. 

I often suggest new people to minimize mod conflicts by only keeping the essentials with Nuka Ride, but plenty of people managed with their own playthroughs. 

JB might have updated the mod conflict section so check it out.

Horizon will clash when you have to make food. JB did add a cheat to skip the cooking if you are running horizon tho. Harrasment is fine just disable it during scenes. Hardship might cause issues not sure about that one. Also you killed kellogg so that right there broke the young girl path.

So I installed all the new goodies just now, thanks to you all.

I have waited and read but am unclear on one thing, is the young girl path finished? Does it tie in with Nora's path or do you have to start NG to continue?

Won't start playing till next week or so as I am in Skyrim banging all the lovely's there, on a roll so to speak.

Can I Play through NR then continue the vanilla story line later on the same save?

The young girl pre main path is finishe. What I mean by that is that it is complete up to where it links with the main path. After that you are pretty much on the same questline as Nora with a lot of exceptions and changes to accommodate the young girl as she treated way different than Nora. Nisha for instance is very protective of the young girl as she is part of the deciples. For example a few quests that are different so far is apollo, posters, The vips, lucy in the sky, the motorcycle, Nuka radio. Those I can think of right off the bat. This version ends just after Lucy in the sky you will get a message to save your game. The changes are significant and way worth doing I really liked them. It is a softer route than Nora. More a romantic so to speak. So if you start the young girl path you gonna have ton of content to get through which is a good thing.

I was playing the 1.8 Version of Horizon some time ago, so i dont know, how this applies to the current version of Horizon. But items added by NR are fine, they just dont have Horizons sorting and the symbols.

 

You should be aware that Horizon does change a lot of the vanilla weapons and ammo records. So a handed over gun or ammo might be broken or damaged like in this old screen:

But thats not critical, if you know how to use the console to add the horizon ammo. Apart from that (and the already mentioned food) Horizon will not cause any problems.

 

Almost forgot: You should turn off Horizons combat stalkers.
