Just curious if anyone knows a fix for this, but any FF or FFF animations I have cause a massive lag issue between player and npc. The scene from the BOS movie has Lucy and my "sister" stuck in the animation long after the character is out and until they both exit, player keeps having orgasms. I know I didn't use to have this problem, but I think it was an edit I needed to do somewhere and with a new computer, I lost that edit. Been surfing the site to find that edit, but it doesn't seem to show up.

In order to film this scene: Once you report to Maxson to finish "Heart of Steel", the mod will ask you to report to Charlotte. If you already reported to Maxson when updating to this version, the mod will auto-update to prompt you to talk to Charlotte. 

 

*Adjustment during the dialogues in the Moon of Steel final battle to avoid hang-ups during the conversation. 

 

*Fixed a bug that caused "Vip Party" to remain active in the pipboy. It will remain active there... until you replay the quest.

Getting a "Failed - Virus detected" message on the 6.1.0 download from chrome. Anyone else? Any ideas?

 

It doesn't seem to allow me to access the file even though Mega says the download was completed...

yeah I did get this then I added opera gx instead and then it worked for me as chrome eats up alot of space on the computer/laptop you use

Space shouldn't be a problem.  I still have 600 GB free.

Theoretically:
If you received a virus notification, the file might have been moved to quarantine.
Check the quarantine contents.

 

My antivirus doesn't find any threats, maybe chrome doesn't like Mega's work because Mega first downloads the whole file to temporary storage and then moves it to the downloads folder.

Is there anyway to restore the ability to modify my armor with the misc section? I could at the start of the game but now its gone from everything exept armour piecies. I think it is related to the weaves you have added.

Here's the threat report.  It wouldn't make sense for Mega to be the problem.  I've downloaded several various previous versions of Nuka Ride. Hell, I have a voice mod on Mega myself... 

I very much doubt that JB. uploaded a dirty file, but I'm not sure how to get around this if Windows automatically dumps the file from the device when I download it. 

 

I also tried downloading with Brave browser, and had the same result. ?‍♂️

Like I said.  I doubt very much you invested this much time in the mod only to throw in a virus or dirty file now.  I don't know what was going on with the download problem.  All I did was change my Windows Defender to allow all files with a 7zip extension and I was able to download it fine.  I'll leave the actual fix up to someone smarter than I am when it comes to this sort of thing. 

 

Thank you yet again for your dedication to this mod and the community you created by creating the mod.

I noticed this too earlier today while playing the version right before the latest update.  Maxon would appear in the dialogue cam while talking to the overboss, but he was completely missing throughout the entire scene. 

 

I was able to use the setstage command to 30 and the rest of the scene/quest played normally enough, just without Maxon. I wrote it off as something goofy in my load order, and didn't think about it again until I read your post.

back after a few months to test this version 6 and it's so good ! All the new quests are great. Well aside from the walk of shame because the Overboss is having some navmesh issues lol. He often gets stuck at the first wooden wall, so i have to guide him with my silicon body lmao. Nothing too serious. Aside from that, it's really good work. I am, again, impressed with the writing to be honest. I see that you mention a Nuka Ride 7 ! Can't wait to see what troubles my pc is going to get into once more. Just an humble suggestion though. It's just that i really think we should have the right to hum...cut the overboss balls during his sleep at some point by the end of the adventure, you know....maybe just a slice at least, or even just a gentle stab in the sack ? pretty please ? :p. Ok i stop whining. But seriously, awesome mod !

I believe he just means this chapter much like NR5, as a lot of it ends with many open ends. There's also a few missing ideas I saw JB mention they wanted to implement a while back that aren't even touched on yet but I don't wanna mention them here for spoiler purposes, so I think JB just meant that he's focusing on a mainline commonwealth slavers update before he returns to nuka ride.

@Itchy Crabs Thanks! Nuka Ride should have a higher priority than PRP, both mods are compatible but since Nuka Ride edits Nuka Town, it needs more priority. If not, weird things are going to happen (I suspect it may be the cause of Maxson's disappearance or navmeshes problems). Same with "Freddie Mercury." His "battle" happens outside the map boundaries so NR needs priority over PRP. 

 

Some serious enemies of my mod are: 

 

1. Batches patches. 
2. ReSaver. 
3. Uninstalling mods during the game. 
4. Low priority in load order. 

 

All of the above will cause problems when it comes to filling aliases, packages and so on.  

 

@jockmare There will actually be a chance to kill the Overboss and put a replacement there. The mod is slowly heading towards that scenario, where you are going to decide who gets to keep Nuka World. Either Colter or Bradberton. And that would lead to defining who the next "Overbitch" would be. Either the protagonist, or in Bradberton's case, her Overbitch would be Sierra Petrovita. 

 

But, yes, the character is made to be hateful.

Maybe it's a language barrier and I did not explain myself well. But I'm done with NR6. 

 

Which is not to say that there are no plans for NR7 or NR8, or as many as it takes to get to the end.

The plans are: 

Spoiler

1-Capture the last park (the castle park, I think it's called Kiddie Kingdom). This is the most complex of all for me. 
 
2-Not to capture the bottling park. We have to leave a park uncaptured for those who in the future want to just do the DLC. For that I need an uncaptured park and the bottler is for me the least interesting park. 

 

3-Kali's training needs to continue to further bimbofication of the character, not so much on the physical side, but on the mental side. 

 

4-The last dog named enemy still needs to be defeated. This will end with the Overboss mortally wounded, and you can decide whether to let him die or save him. 

 

5-Probably a quest to get Beagle to a law university. Take him on a scooter with Music. Pick him up back home. Several times until he gets his law degree. 

 

6-More porn movies. Shaun is going to do a synth version of his dad and try his best to get his dad to talk you out of porn. But Nate will probably end up as another Golden Globes actor. 

 

7-Bradberton should have his human body ready thanks to the Institute. He will be the one to lead Nuka World if you decided to kill the OB. 

 

 

The best part is that I know myself well enough to know that in the middle of this I'm going to come up with more shit.

Same here. The newer versions of Nuka Ride (higher than 6.0.3) are all infected.

Same as Mega - download blocked. For some unknown reason Windows Defender even blocked the 7z archive with version 6.0.4 when trying to reinstall it in MO2 today, although I downloaded it on March 16th (in that day it was fine, Win Defender didn't complain about it).
