CHILDRENS OF CYRODIIL

Now available, an incredibly impossible-to-find mod!

 

This package by Elgado2K (this forum's Lovers Mayu's Animation Overhaul mod) adds completely custom children to Tamriel, using his own Child Races Revamped mod. This mod uses CutthroatMod Companions (CM Companions) that is included with this package.  And likewise this mod requires the use of Moonshadow Elves, a usable mod for this race  likewise included. This mod does not put the player through an epic quest or grants any special skills.  It is merely meant to give an extra bit of flavor to your game for those that wondered why the world is populated solely by full grown adults.

Oh wait... the mod's name is Childrens of Cyrodiil.... So subtle. o_o

 

Very likely, the basis for this mod was the Improved Child NPC mod found at Nexus Mods found (>HERE<) by DaMuncha (both of them now banned at Nexus). That, because the posts within circa 2011 included Elgado2K's statement "already resolve the problem with the child races for player female and male and also NPC with real body...  where may I share It mod this is now finished and working perfectly sorry I was banned by tesnexus give me a safe link for share u "

 

As a mod that uses CM Partners, there are characters you can try to convince to become part of an adventuring party, both adult and young. And some few are even traders of goods... some goods of questionable taste.  Elgado2K supplied Marlboro cigarettes to kids and pregnant women?

 

There is plenty of gear within the mod that you can wear, though based on the TeamFF Fantasy Figure bodies that suggest a more youthful figure. And there are plenty of new weapons and decorative shields for use.

 

There is new dialog, including actual audio which appears to be remixed and altered from the original vanilla content.

 

 

This mod is not to be confused with Children of Cyrodil by Emma (creator of Children of Morrowind and Witchgirl).

ALERT:

Now while the mod itself states within its readme file that it indeed does not contain adult content with the children (which would obviously be forbidden), it does have some outfits one would consider inappropriate.  And there are three books of pornographic nature within.  Still, while some adult content is within, the author did state that no adult content is present among the child characters.  That would clearly be undesirable.

 

 

 

INSTALLATION:

Download all of the zip files.  Then from the BSA zip files, remove the numeric prefixes attached (example: 932520679_ChildrensofCyrodiilBSAs.zip.001... remove the red content so the filenames all begin with "Childrens...").

 

Then, to extract the .bsa files containing all graphics and audio, begin extraction of the 'Childrens of Cyrodiil BSAs.zip.001' file. A file-spanning zip file, it will access the contents of the following 002, 003 and 004 files to recover the Meshes, Textures, and DS BSAs. Then extract the required esp and esm files from the 'Childrens of Cyrodiil ESPs.zip' file

 

UNINSTALLATION:

Easy.  ERASE THE Childrens of Cyrodiil bsa and esp files and related Child Race Revamped and CM Mod files as desired.  In this format, you don't have to go any farther than the data folder.

 

 

CHANGES MADE:

This is as complete a version of Childrens of Cyrodiil version 4.1 as possible, though some content had vanished.  Through searches for the mod, version 3.5 had some content, version 4.1 had other content and version 4.0 had the most. But not one version was complete.  This is a merger of all of the discovered mods with the newest esp and esp files available.  Yet, some things were never found and some updates/edits were required.

 

There were missing meshes and textures throughout.  The child uniform that was missing actual textures were the same as that used by Emma's Children of Cyrodiil, so that was easy to re-acquire. And the Teddy Bears used within were the 'dhkbears' teddybears also used by Emma. However, Emma had no Pink, Blue or Purple ones... so I did some recoloring work to act as a replacement.  This set didn't have the Final Fantasy Tifa chest mesh that the mod required, so a substitute Final Fatasy chest mesh was used in place.  And two equippable items were missing meshes altogether, that of the Light Upper Protector (clothing) and for the Light Escutcheon (armor/shield).  Both of which were from an artist named Koutetsu, and I used a Chain-Harness and the Chorrol Escutcheon as replacements.

 

An adventure-breaking bug was fixed.  The mod's Arcane Academy had a few issues with it; the inability to actually exit the university and the inclusion of Blind Moth Priests. One would force a reset unless you had a suitable teleport spell, and the other actively breaking the Thieves' Guild quest.  This was likely overlooked as the interior was a blanket copy/paste from the Imperial Palace itself.  However, both issues have been resolved by fixing door teleports and the removal of the Blind Moth Priests.


To the best of my recollection, no other content had been changed.

No worries.  I try to make things as easy and complete as possible.  The search for all the content was a pain. :P  But I have nearly everything within the package.

 

Now if anyone has the 'blue, pink or purple' teddy bears from the dhkbears collection (the Pink one definitely has a cute heart on it). and/or the Light Upper Protector and Light Escutcheon... those are things I needed to substitute.  The originals of these would be most appreciated.  Then it could truly be complete (given I did need to fix some teleports and eliminate some quest-killing moth priests).

When I uploaded the files, they did not express any such prefix numbers.  Only now did I doublechecked and found them.  So I did attempt to re-upload the four .bsa files.  Only after hitting <Save> did the prefix numbers reappear... new ones.

 

Since that appears to be unavoidable, I added some new instructions to remove these odd prefixes.

Aka. they all need to say ChildrensofCyrodiilBSAs.zip.001, ChildrensofCyrodiilBSAs.zip.002, ChildrensofCyrodiilBSAs.zip.003 and ChildrensofCyrodiilBSAs.zip.004.

For some reason, the download manager is attaching the weird prefixes (ie: 
932520679_) which is something I cannot help.

However, if you are trying to extract them individually... no.  They are 'spanning' files.  Which means, you run extraction on ChildrensofCyrodiilBSAs.zip.001 alone.  It then looks for 2,3 and 4 and extracts them for you as they are essentially ONE zip file broken in four sections.

Do you remember what are the CM Partners NE and VWalk.esp ?

Wrye give some information, but :

It is not in the readme, and the files are older than the official version.

Do they add children instead of adults or something ? Why have them packaged along ?

 

Else, all the academy child are head only, same for a few of the one in the Imperial City and other cities.

The issue there are faulty 'clothing' items.  If the items are removed... they get revealed.  I took care of as many clothing issues that I could, finding what resources were missing and where they were initially borrowed.  But I couldn't find them all.

 

CM Partners NE and VWalk?

 

Well, CM Partners has a thing for ye classic alignment system.  so I expect NE means Neutral Evil.  IE:  CM Partners, the neutral evil sort.  I would expect it to be in a full CM Partners package at Nexus.  I don't have CM Partners anymore.  But given some brats, I wouldn't be surprised.

 

As to the VWalk, that sounds like some ... well... custom walking animation?  Can't seem to find that either.

NE  Neutral Evil  :classic_laugh:   No it is Non-Essential.

And Vwalk = VariableWalk

Like all female walk ani mods it add a walk animation to the female NPC and/or player.

KFFZ animation

The kf animation files are in  meshes\charcters\_male\specialanims

 

If you have Sensual Walks installed you can add female walk to any NPC you want.  Best with TES4Edit

Open the esp with the NPC you want and go to Non-Player-Chacacter and open the NPC you  want

In the right window scroll down to KFFZ-Animations and enter the kf file name you want (  without the path, just the name )  e.g. 0FemaleVariableWalk_Commoner.kf

Sensual Walks has about 30 kf files / female walk animations. (Some animations are the same, just different names)

So you can add female walk to the children in Childrens of Cyrodiil ESP

Thanks, so nothing to do as to the invisible body ?

Maybe, taking one as partner then change clothes ? Yes, it is the "School Uniform" who is bugged. As soon it had been retired, the girl got her body visible...

Guess an edit of the NPC using that piece of clothing is required, damn it. 

 

The closest who be the sailor one I guess.

 

As to sensual walk, I have it from ColorWheel Sexy Overhaul. 

It is applied to all the game base at last. Wrye Bash then can through the bashed patch add in either one of sexy or real walk type.

 

This said, I've no idea as to if the game support more than one walk type ?

As it is, I've a lot of NPC who use two time sexy, disabled Real one as to not have three, but it brings the question, do the game support more than one ?

If so, It's great, variety is key.

 

Real walk, add it to the MC, which I do not want as playing male.

You can add a walk ani to any NPC.

Like I told above you have to change the NPC in the esp ( or create a patch esp if you don't want to change the original esp /esm )

 

If you have walk animation s from ColorWheel Sexy Overhaul. you can use the animations ( they are in meshes\charcters\_male\specialanims  )

I don't know how many different walk ani are in ColorWheel Sexy Overhaul. 

 

Or you install the kf files ( walk animations ) from "Sensual Walks for Female NPCs"

Then you have about 15 different walk ani you can use ( Yes about 30 kf files but some are the same with different names )

 

Example, a female knight from Knight of the Nine

1 Open the the NPcs

2 choose the NPC you want

3 in the right window scroll down to KFFZ animations

The walk kf files I have in my specialanims folder. That are names from "Sensual Walks for Female NPCs",      I don't have "Sensual Walks for Female NPCs" installed  the kf file have been added by another mod, And maybe ColorWheel Sexy Overhaul use the same kf files.

All the sexy-, woman-, natural- walk Mods and patches are only  a esp with  copied NPCs and the KFFZ-Animations entry.

 

If you always play females you can add a KFFZ-Animations entry to the player NPC :   Player "Bendu Olo" [NPC_:00000007]

 

! Remember we also have BlockHead !

 

In the folder

Data\Meshes\Characters\_male\SpecialAnims

you put the ani you want and rename the kf file to  "walkforward_BLKD_PERNPC_Oblivion.esm_00000007"

Then the player will use that animation.  (  Player is in Oblivion esm and ID is 00000007.  Always the ID  not the Ref )

You can change any animation

StaffIdle.kf

becomes:

StaffIdle_BLKD_PERNPC_Oblivion.esm_00000007.kf

 

And if you want to change an NPC

Example the female Knight from Knight of the nine above  ( ID 00000F57  and is in Knights.esp )

 

walkforward_BLKD_PERNPC_Knights.esp_00000F57

That will change the walk animation.

For changing only the walk animation the KFFZ-Animations method is better.

One Kf file in Meshes\Characters\_male\SpecialAnims  can be used by many NPCs and Player.

Also fast forward, backward, turn and idle ani can be changed with KFFZ-Animations .

 

With Blockhead each character has its own kf  file in Meshes\Characters\_male\SpecialAnims.  But you can make Backup folders and when you change the player race/gender you can delete/change the kf files in the SpecialAnims folder without change the esp/esm entries   ( Yes you can not change the Oblivion esm you need a Patch esp , or use any esp you have)

 

And with BlockHead never a esp , only the KF files in SpecialAnims folder , that's all.
