Most hated character?

There's one mother fucker that every time I see his disgusting face, his horrible choice of clothing, and his voice that makes my fucking ears bleed, I want to stab him multiple times and watch him die. I hate this fucker! I hate him! Did I mention that I hate him? Oh, despite that I always refer to him as Asshat, his name is Tidus.

The funny thing is, he's one of the two main characters in all of the Final Fantasy games who isn't a whining, angst filled prat. The other being Zidane, of course.

Tidus just wants to play ball and bang the summoner, and Zidane just wants to steal shit and bang the princess.

When Tidus gets depressed, it's because the woman he's been risking everything to protect through her quest only because she asked him to turns out to be on a quest to die anyway, and everyone he knows in his current world lied to him about it.

When Zidane gets depressed, it's because he just walked across the world for this bitch, and now he's stuck in a run down bar while she's in her palace.

Neither of them are depressed for long either. Tidus buries whatever shit he's feeling so he can focus on the war going on above him, and Zidane has a couple drinks before he finds something else to keep him occupied.

On the topic of most hated characters, mine would have to be the Fairy King from Dark Cloud, as well as every male Tauren warrior and Blood Elf paladin in WoW.

Tidus whined about never being able to get back to his home and about his prick dad all the time. Just saying.

The Fairy King? What did he do to make you hate him?

Actually Zidane gets all emo and mopy when his soul gets stolen as well which is acceptable because his fucking SOUL got stolen.

I missed that little encounter. I have to start up a fresh playthrough to get through one of the very late game bosses, due to me not leveling quina on my main, and being forced to fight with him and zidane.

Dr. Breen from HL2, being an overall nuisance throughout the game. Thank god he is dead in the sequels.

Burglar kids in the Den in Fallout 2, so bad killing them earn bad reputation everywhere.

James from Fallout 3 is rather irresponsible too, and didn't even consider the possibility of the Lone Wanderer being cornered by the Vault.

God in FONV keep saying meaningless accusation towards me.

Hugo Strange in Batman: Arkham City is also a nuisance, and his psychosis put other villains to shame.

Guildmarm from Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate. She isn't as great as everybody says she is and I don't find her dialogue that enjoyable. Hell know that I think about it I like the Val Habar "Customer" Lady's dialogue more than I like Guildmarm's and she only talks to you like 3 or 4 times for quests! The only dialogue from Guildmarm which I liked is when she "trys" to get you to join her fetish group for "Monsterphiles" which I found hilarious. However the way she "fangirls" over things, her lame attempts at "jokes", and the fact that she is a klutz for no reason make her unappealing. Sure she has a cute face but that's she is, just eye candy that gives you single player quests. She even fails at that for me, for I don't find girls wearing glasses all that attractive... :dodgy: I also found her voice to be annoying the more I heard it but I think that is mainly due to the fact that I don't like her character! It's a shame because she does have a cute nickname (doodle) for the player character which I like too. However that goes out the window when I meet some fanboy cosplayer in the Gathering Hall where they can't shut up with "doodle" crap every sentence they say... Anyways you get the story I don't like Guildmarm, even if I treated her as a joke character like Dan Hibiki. She just too pathetic and annoying her fanboys too...

I haven't played older games in ages, so:

1. Kids in Skyrim and this shitting assguzzler in Riften who talks to me right after I enter the city. I have mods and I can pay any bounty, so you're out of luck sunshine.

2. Vast majority of NPCs in Skyrim and kids in Fallout. Nuke them all.

3. Martin Septim, this forced "friendship" with him and his emotional breakdowns. The only redeeming thing about this whining moonface is that he turns into a dragon. I want to slap him in the face and tell him to learn how2emperor.

Yeah, he was kind of an asshole, and you didn't get to call him out on it. And then gets himself killed for no reason too, so he's also a stupid asshole

Well, what can a character do when he gets written by an incompetent hack?

On topic, Mr. Ridiculous Plot-Armored Space Ninja in ME3. He's a one hit kill that only gets saved by his plot armor, and then the PC gets all depressed for not having plot armor piercing bullets. That whole Thessia plot part just sucks on so many levels. And when you finally are allowed to kill him, he can't take much more shots before cheating. Good thing for ME3 that i care much more about gameplay than the plot

Well, another helpless victim of incompetent writers, as i've heard he actually was a good character in the novels.
