Has anyone encountered any issues either on the UI side or draining side? Would like to know while I work on Better vampires, also I noticed that MCM option for vampiric drain rate defaults to 0. I corrected it, but its only a minor issue.

A fair question. If the version is the original LE, you should be fine with downloading the LE patch. My updates are currently at the script level. Once you install the main LE patch (or the vampiric thirst LE) patch: Go into MCM and go into SLDDs Mod Utility page and tick the option to reload the plugin. Exit the menu and return, you should be able to see the menu updated. 

Original mod had the pages defined statically, one of my changes was for dynamic menus so any change or update I make should load. Let me know if that doesn't work. It should be safe since no sex related scripts are running unless a scene with a drainer is active.

Hmm, strange. Which version did you install? I just checked my game, I am seeing no issues even with mostly vanilla set up. If you are on Skyrim SE the main version to install is "SexLab Deadly Drain Enhanced v0.8.7z"  Other files are patches for either  vampiric thirst or LE and its vampiric thirst

 

What is your mod setup overall?

Small update: Got Deadly drain to work with Better Vampires SE. Had to change things up a bit, since DD doesnt limit how often you can feed on the same NPC. I just gotta get the necks bitten updates to work, and then finalize the Blood point draining logic before posting. So far better vampires is quite amusing, it covers a lot of different playstyles so I adjusted code to consider several user settings too.

 

As a result: I nerfed neck and hypno feedings on the Deadly drain side, but also allow the player to get even more blood from victims via sex and a 5x drain rate multiplier. So when you feed with BV, you typically get 100 BP. With Deadly drain, you can get up to 150 BP per victim with the multiplier set to 5.

 

UI changes: Vampiric drain multi will no longer appear if the user doesnt have Vampiric thirst or Better Vampires installed. Added Better vampires to the compatibility page.

Also, gearing up for attribute drain implementation right after. I am intended on adding a new Page so the player can select which skills they want to drain during non-climax stages. Current layout will be set so that you cant drain skills from the victim if your skill level already the same or surpasses theirs.

SL DD(SE) MCM don't show up after the latest update, since I didn't keep the old version I don't know if its the mod's fault or just me being dumb.

 

Edit: nvm just load order acting up.

 

Edit2: this is very werid, unless I place SL Deadly Drain.esp at the bottom of my load order, the MCM won't show up, even though it stated in notification log that "SLDD installed" during startup. At first I thought that maybe there are mods at the bottom is messing with it but even if I change load order, if SLDD is not at the bottom, it won't show MCM menu.

Have at it! I dont typically play as a vampire in my game. But BV is so far the hardest to code support for because of the different settings the player has in the MCM. So I just focused primarily on blood points, satiation, and necks bitten relative to the type of satiation and progression settings. The rest is up BV lol.

Interesting, need you to inform me of a few things. Are you using any of the patches for your game? I am assuming that you are downloading the correct main version and not the LE version.

You mentioned in the edits that you changed your load order. In my setup, both mod testing and main playthrough profiles in MO2, SLDDSE is nowhere near the bottom. In fact I just place it where I want it so long as ALL of the dependencies come before it. If using a vampire mod patch I dont think it should matter since none of the scripts in SLDD SE overrides anything in the playvampirequest scripts.

 

I did have situations where I had to wait a couple of minutes for MCM menus to load though.

After removing and adding some esp, I may have found the culprit, but it is just weird. If the nwsFF_NoTeamMagicDamage.esp from nether follower is present within my load order, SLDD must be load at the bottom of my load order to show MCM. Why its happen now is beyond me since last version of SLDD work perfectly fine. Here is my load order if you still need it.

I sorted my load order with LOOT so better vampire always load after SL DD for some reason.

For anyone else that had Physical Drain break for them when changing DD to DD Enhanced, it looks like maybe it has something to do with the "SKSE\Plugins\SLDD\PhysicalDrain.json" file being renamed to "SKSE\Plugins\SLDD\PhysicalDrain3BA.json". I was able to get the Physical Drain working again by copying back in my JSON file (attached) from the old mod. A lot of the nodes are hit/miss though and weight causes invisible body/crash issues. I also don't use Inflation Framework because that seems like a mess and incomplete. There are issues with some physics configurations causing the nodes to freak out, so you probably want to disable them during drains:

A couple notes on physical drain and the mod in general:

• There seems to be some conflict if two drainers are having sex (PC w/ Drain Powers + NPC w/ Drain Powers). The PC usually loses the ability to do Manual Drain if their NPC partner is also a drainer and the NPC partner will also win any auto-drain triggers. Basically it will be as if the PC has no drain powers. One partner winning is fine (would be nice if it was based on arousal or something though), but I'm not sure why Manual Drain get disabled.
• "Auto Drain on Orgasm" seems broken or possibly some poor interaction with SLSO. I was never able to get it to trigger in PC/NPC or NPC/NPC interactions. NPC/NPC interactions would only trigger drain when the animations changed stages due to "Auto Drain" being enabled. It seemed to trigger if SL's "Always Orgasm" was enabled, but I turned that off as DDE and SLSO both recommend that.

Possibly unrelated SLSO issues:

• The SLSO integration seems buggy and inconsistent, but this completely could just be the mods I have stacked as I have a few that do drain mechanics. I was messing with various mod settings and could never seem to figure out a consistent way to trigger whatever event caused the drainer to thank the victim "for the meal" or what the messaging even really meant. Might break it down to just SL + SLDDE and see if I can figure out the interactions before trying to stack SLSO and SLA on top of it.
• I'll get an issue where the PC's mana is constantly draining and the SLSO minigame become unusable. There was something about becoming "sex crazed" if your mana falls below 10% and maybe the DDE is causing that state to happen? Chugging potions sometimes kicks the PC out of it, but sometimes it is stuck until a stage change or the act is over. Still trying to nail that down.

I sorted my load order with LOOT so better vampire always load after SL DD for some reason.

 

Thanks for the details, I am not sure how that esp interferes with SLDD. But as long as you can get it working its a step in the right direction

A couple notes on physical drain and the mod in general:

• There seems to be some conflict if two drainers are having sex (PC w/ Drain Powers + NPC w/ Drain Powers). The PC usually loses the ability to do Manual Drain if their NPC partner is also a drainer and the NPC partner will also win any auto-drain triggers. Basically it will be as if the PC has no drain powers. One partner winning is fine (would be nice if it was based on arousal or something though), but I'm not sure why Manual Drain get disabled.
• "Auto Drain on Orgasm" seems broken or possibly some poor interaction with SLSO. I was never able to get it to trigger in PC/NPC or NPC/NPC interactions. NPC/NPC interactions would only trigger drain when the animations changed stages due to "Auto Drain" being enabled. It seemed to trigger if SL's "Always Orgasm" was enabled, but I turned that off as DDE and SLSO both recommend that.

Possibly unrelated SLSO issues:

• The SLSO integration seems buggy and inconsistent, but this completely could just be the mods I have stacked as I have a few that do drain mechanics. I was messing with various mod settings and could never seem to figure out a consistent way to trigger whatever event caused the drainer to thank the victim "for the meal" or what the messaging even really meant. Might break it down to just SL + SLDDE and see if I can figure out the interactions before trying to stack SLSO and SLA on top of it.
• I'll get an issue where the PC's mana is constantly draining and the SLSO minigame become unusable. There was something about becoming "sex crazed" if your mana falls below 10% and maybe the DDE is causing that state to happen? Chugging potions sometimes kicks the PC out of it, but sometimes it is stuck until a stage change or the act is over. Still trying to nail that down.

Yeah I didnt really touch body draining since the original version is configured for LE, the 3BA version may have been a mistake to include. Because of this I would recommend not using body draining since it can get pretty intense script wise. At least for now, Inflation framework has been good for me, but I would not use it with SLDD's body drain functions. Since I dont use body drain myself this has not been an issue, which is why I left the note on the mod page description. But thanks for the file, I may replace the one that it comes with in a later update.

 

Autodrain on orgasm can seem inconsistent because if SLSO is active without always orgasm on, SLSO treats the climax stage as just another stage. So the standard orgasm call wont happen, this shouldnt be an issue if the PC/NPC drain functions are enabled. However I can add code that makes it so that the climax stage should occur if the new drain behaviors arent enabled too if SLSO is active and its always orgasm call isn't. Actually, I think I mentioned this earlier when I encountered this issue. Just keep in mind that if always orgasm is enabled, then it may interfere with the multi-orgasm state since the standard orgasm call disables any further draining, preventing the new climax draining from ever happening.

 

Thanks for the findings on Player Drainer + NPC drainer scenario. Ill try to recreate and then fix. I think auto drain functions as an override, there is a check that tries to determine who is in control at that time. It checks NPCs first and then the player, but since Autodrain is active the check returns. This is my immediate take on it. I'll investigate.

 

As for the mana draining issue: I mentioned this before as well. SLSOs game will cause issues with stamina and magicka recovery should the player/NPC. The actor automatically goes into auto mode due to the state of being mind broken. I recommended the game be turned off for this reason, but its not really required if you know you will just recover it anyway.

This may seem a little bit out of left field, but would you ever consider branching out to making more dominant-female-PC-oriented mods? Mods like deadly drain give you the mechanics to play as a Succubus (which are commonly more dominant rather than submissive), however there is a distinct lack of content out there for Dominant Female PCs dialogue-wise. Most of the dialogue-based / Quest Sexlab mods out there are designed for Submissive Female PCs.

Hey everyone, just letting you know I am still here. Realized I need to add support for drainslaves as well as I scanned through the logic. Will check that along with how to better handle the individual decisions of NPC drainers. Also still planning on implementing Skill drain for female PCs.

Honestly I have been wondering about that too. Most mods I have seen place the female PC in a submissive role. Interestingly enough you dont see mods that put male PCs in the position where he is surrounded by female NPCs that want you enough to take you. The closest I have seen is the sexslave mod. I was thinking of making a Milk Mod Economy Addon where milk maids may force the player to "give them release" when they are high leveled and full of milk. 

 

In the case of a female PC, there was a mod called sexlab attraction where under certain conditions you could be assaulted when turning down sex from an NPC. Scent of Sex can be configured for something like this too. 

 

What I would consider is a mod similar to battle fuck where the female PC, or female NPC, starts to assault their victim. She would just force herself onto him. Imagine that with sexlab deadly drain, would be a bit more contextual since the more aroused the male the less resistance he can put up. So seduction would be a powerful tool, and if the victim orgasms in the process THEY can no longer resist. I would want it to be dialogue/combat driven for the female PC. I'd consider it if I had the total skills necessary.

 

Personally I am of the mind that in skyrim, women want it bad enough to take it themselves. That would surely be the case for a female dragonborn, particularly considering the fact that dragons are driven by nature to dominate and conquer.

@777sage Actually, it 's Sexlab Approach Redux. Sexlab attraction defines NPC preferences of player's PC.

 

I wonder if you use Frozen Electrocuted Combustion. That mod has body texture for corpse when a NPC killed under the effect of Soul trap and similar perk. I think it's more logical to look like that after being drained of vitality than to turn in draugr or skeleton. Just my opinion. I'm not too involved in modding scene to know if you can actually use that texture for your own mod.

Physical drain does not seem to actually work. I've tried reinstalling it and cleaning it but both do not see to do anything? Any tips or fixes that I need to do for physical drain to work?

Not at this time, vampire mods are a pain to deal with because compatibility with each one requires a patch no matter what. Each mod modifies the Player Vampire quest, so i cant make it modular like I can with other mods. If I have the time I can add support for it also.

Ayyyye, you are actually right. I havent used those 2 mods together since LE. That was way back so thanks for the correction. As for the mod you suggested, I already am looking at it. I have been scanning through their scripts to determine how exactly they make it work. I have an idea on what I want to do, but that may be the biggest update. You, mangalo, and I have the same opinion. The trick is making sure that the NPC that has armor can also be wearing it once they are drained to death. Some sex scenarios would have NPCs still wearing some armor, and it seems like Draugr cant wear much of anything that is playble except what is unique to them. I could be wrong, but the creation of a new race dedicated to succubus victims may be necessary here. Particularly because I want to limit conflicts with other mods.

Status update: 

Done

• Fixed an issue where if the player and a drainer were having sex with the same victim(s), and autodrain is active, the player would not be able to manually drain. It now works as normal, but if the player chooses to manually drain at any point, auto drain stops as usual. Reason this issue occurred was because there is a check in the original logic that made it so if there is an NPC drainer it would override the players control.
• Updated consideration states of NPC drainers, such that now each one has their own state. Prior, one state would effect another even when it made no sense. Now the logic takes into consideration the state of each individual succubus relative to their perspective toward the victim. I effectively took advantage of sexlabs actor pool logic.
• Made it so that drainers can't actually drain other drainers during normal sex. The effect may still play but nothing will happen towards that drainer. You and the NPC could still be forced to orgasm though. I mean... why not?
• Added a condition where if the last sex animation is active and the actors in the sex scene are not orgasming AND updated drain behaviors for either player OR drainer are not active (depending on who has control), then SLDD will trigger the standard orgasm behavior automatically IF autodrain on orgasm is enabled. This was done in case SLSO is active but actors are not orgasming on the last scene - which typically occurs when SLSO is active and neither updated drain behaviors for NPC or player is active in the MCM menu.

In progress:

• Skill exp draining (this is annoying because of exp scaling across different skills, but I think i am getting it thanks to skytweak)
• Trying to get info on Milk mod economy for milk maid succubus integration

 

New thoughts: 

 

While Male drainers may not recieve much love here, I am thinking of making it so that male drainers have a chance to infect, or "succubize" female NPCs they have sex with. I am also considering making them automatic drain slaves too, this would make female NPCs, especially followers, potential victims who could have sex and make you stronger. The male NPC would pump the NPC full of cum and each time the risk would be present. What do you all think?

 

If I can get MME integrated, The male PC may gain additional benefits from MME succubi.
