Naked Defeat AE/SE

so any other combat mod besides ultimate combat will work? or should i be on the look out for something special? for SE?

Awesome mod Nymra!

 

I have an annoying bug where nothing happens when I reach 0 health (I can keep attacking, so in effect I'm invulnerable.) However, I can use the surrender button without problems. I installed Naked Defeat in my ongoing game after uninstalling "Defeat" (which also didn't work correctly - my character just lay on the ground, frozen on bleedout.) However, I took care to clean the save, etc. (If nothing else works, I will try to start a new game to see if it's my save or my other mods that cause the issues.)

 

Do you know what might cause issues like this?

sorry, cant really give a 100% "I know it advice" but you could try to clean your save several times and wait 36 hours ingame (follow the STEP guide for clean save to the point).

 

other things that come to mind, but you have to google for the required console commands (do this with the defeat mods uninstalled)

- kill ur PC to force the game to relaod

- try to remove the "essential" status from your PC 

 

in all cases, trying on a new game would be helpful so you can find out if its something wrong with ur saves or if another mod is still intefering.

Yamete! will be listes as incompatible mod with the next update.

There will be no attempts to achieve compatibility ever  and I ignore all such requests. 

If you want NPC vs NPC or PC rapes NPC, use SL Defeat, it can be made compatible with Naked Defeat. 

If you have Yamete! installed I will not support any problems that you might have.

I like Naked Defeat.  I was testing it vs the others including DCL by installing each onto a clean save giving each a try, then going back the save before I installed and removing one to try another.  Overall I liked it, but for some reason animations always seemed to break so they would just stand and stare at each other instead of doing the animations.  I couldn't figure out why it happened. But when I tried Yamete or Defeat they didn't have the same problem.

feel free to upload a papyrus.log when that happens.

also make sure you have animations installed suitable to the tags in Naked Defeat MCM. 

Also make sure you set up the MCM correctly 

 

I never had an issue like this, so its hard to tell really what the problem might be, except I can definatly tell it is 99% a problem on your end, no matter id Defeat or Y... whatever work :D

there still MIGHT be rare cases where something in my scripts are not prepared for, but I need the papyrus log for that to tell.

Is it possible, that there is a problem with the timer for whipping-marks? 

Even after i changed the timer to 4 hours, the won't fade by themselves.

I always end up removing them myself with the slavetats mcm.

On the other hand i'm using the mod Sexlab - Cum Overlays, which could be a problem.

@Nymra - a question for you:

 

I came across this post recently (appended below) where it was stated that RemoveAllItems does not play well with Devious Devices. The reason I bring it up here is twofold:

 

1) The example was taken from Naked Dungeons, which I know is the basis for Naked Defeat.

 

2) I recently had a game basically choke to death, and I definitely had a couple of instances where Devious Devices were removed from my character via Naked Defeat. I am wondering if that may have contributed (it could very well have been some other factor though, I'm only hypothesizing here).

 

So my question is whether you use that RemoveAllItems function during the robbery event?

 

Because if there is a connection I'll have to figure out how to manage the issue since Naked Defeat, SubLola, and Devious Followers Continued are my LL cornerstones at the moment and the latter two use Devious Devices quite a bit.

I could be bold here and just say: this is a problem of the DD framework and should be fixed inside the DD framework. If DD decides to work in a way that conflicts with basic Skyrim scripts, well... not my problem ^^

 

But in fact I want to have it work with DDs and Robbery will be changed to achieve that. I m just not sure how to do it yet. 

Right now if Robbery breaks your DDs you need to disable Robbery for the time beeing. 


I have several ideas how to do all this, but it will take some time to implement, so no idea when the next version will be ready.

I have neither of them installed.

I thought, they would just removed after some time like cum overlays or the whipmarks in slaverun.

well, mod description makes it clear that this is not the case.

you need both these mods for the fade to work.

 

also cum overlays do not fade, they just disappear (major flaw in my oppinion, but wayne)

and slaverun has no whipmarks, its just the normal "hit decals" that are remove whenever u save/load or put on clothes.

Conversion tracking states that the addons are SE compatible with the right Slave Tats version:

 

 SlaveTats - addons are  compatible, exceptions:  Aki Collection,  Dibellan Defender; FadeTattoos and RapeTattoos need 1.3.5.2 or later

And yeah, I think I'll disable robbery... which is too bad, because getting all my character's stuff stolen is a pretty key part of the whole thing for me (not to mention logical IMO). Another thing I could try out is to quickly manually remove any and all DD items during the "you're fucked, find a good spot" phase of Naked Defeat.

 

I agree that in principle this should be fixed within DD, but thanks for deciding to look at it nonetheless.

I've been using this for a bit now and it generally works well after tuning the settings a bit. But I use Ordinator and have a beast companion based on the Speech perks from that mod and it feels a bit odd that my companion stops fighting when I enter bleedout and then even joins in on the shenanigans that follow.

 

It would feel more logical to have an option to trigger the defeat part only if both of us enter bleedout - my wild companion is there to defend me after all.

These are very special cases, but you are at least not the only one that asked for this. 
I have some ideas on how to achieve that, but it will require some thorough testing.

 

Also I will not even try to cover all possible follower scenarios, but maybe I can at least prevent them from joining in (or put a toggle in for it).

 

My idea is to start a timer when the PC enters bleedout and has a follower still fighting. When the timer is up and the fight still not over, the defeat scenario will start.
That way I want to prevent endless fights between NPC that can happen and also your followers will be forced to surrender sooner or later since well,... bleedout means the PC will eventually die if they continue to fight.

At least that is the plan right now. lets see how well I can implement it.

I'm loving this mod and it's working great for me in SE. The triggers to surrender and end whipping are great QoL additions too.

 

One problem I can't figure out: after animation ends (which is triggered through Defeat) if any zaz equipment was used (rope cuffs, etc.) these stay equipped during the 'enemies will hunt you now phase' making it hard to run away as the bindings slow down move speed.

 

I am I missing a setting in zaz or sexlab to unequip these items? I don't have DD installed, zaz is set to override anims and sexlab is set to re-equip items after being the victim.

it keep using Zap animation for human and no animation for creature, and there's no toggle to turn if off in ZaZ Mod menu

any idea?

you can just unequip the zap binds. 

you can also adjust the slowdown amount in ZAP MCM

Also also you can set the time you have before enemies will hunt you, giving you a headstart.

 

in future updates the binds will work differently tho, but it will still take time for release, since alot will be added and changed. 

 

ALSO:
Zap should NEVER override animations, the anim filter is bonkers (like is DDs one...) 

 

the only way to unequip the item is via menue or via SkyUi hotkey (I just equip a naked profile that unequips weapon and armor)
