Hi EllaNoir, i got an issue with the your mod when i install it, my sim have alot of relationships, makes giltches in the relationships menu "menu that shows your sim relationships" when i uninstall the mod it return to normal, hope you'll fix it.

Just wanted to say I tested out the mod myself (used to use it but took a break from the couple I was using it for) and it's working in my game – no glitches at all.

A little while back there was a similar glitch with FlirtyFetishes when using an outdated version of the UI Extension Cheats mod, though (IIRC), so I'd check to make sure your mods – especially UI mods – are all updated. If you're also getting error files (LEs, etc.) that could help narrow down the issue – I also highly recommend TwistedMexi's Better Exceptions as it often helps me find the root of problems when they crop up (no guarantees ofc)

Having this issue as well with the newest version released 3/4. The new BDSiM bar seems to have replaced the hygiene need entirely. My Sims will actually shower forever if I let them lol. My vampire and werewolf specifically don't even have the bar, they just gets the simdrop debuffs.

 

It also sometimes breaks Spent's cumshine mod, as sims can't always shower off the ah, evidence, of their last encounter.

None of the previous UI glitches from FlirtyFetishes in my game were being caused by any other UI mods as i don't use any UI mods, all of the issue i had experienced was being caused by this mod.

 

Are you not getting the relationship ui glitches in your game using FlirtyFetishes?

i updated to the newest release (march 4th) and it's not even showing up in my game (yes mods are active). any ideas?

It should active by just dumping the .ts4script and either (not both) of the .package files straight into your mod folder.

Oh, and some of the restraints dont work in Kriticals sub mod but I think they might be linked to levels or something, not sure, but this isn't their mod page so *shrug*. But if someone knows something about that too, let me know?

Oh, and Im using the exclusive version of the traits. If someone knows more, please let me know. I'll put in a picture as well to better explain it. This is all I ever see~

Just wanted to give an update, so I made some new sims and tried flirty fetishes with them and they seem to be working as intended. Any idea why it wont work with my original sim tho? Or do you have to start a new game with this mod?

@EllaNoir Thank you so much for this update!  I haven't been able to update since v10.13 because everything since then seemed to be breaking my relationship panel, but so far this version seems to be working perfectly.  EDIT:  Well, almost perfectly.  The BDSiM skill books aren't working, and populate to the household inventory instead of the bookshelf when purchased.

 

Just one question:  is there a CAS version of the collar used in the collaring ceremony?  And if so, where can I download it?  Of all the collars I've seen or tried, this one might be one of my favorites because of its simplicity and the way it fits without clipping terribly, but it disappears as soon as my sims travel off the lot.

Thanks for your information, I found a way to fix it by deleting sim's relationships which have been affected by the old version of FlirtyFetishes, Then things went back to normal.

So I think I figured it out, had to invite my partner to join the household and give them the dominant traits, now it seems to work. And their Hygiene bar got replaced by the BSiM bar, so I think that is working. Only thing I couldnt do was read the dominant book, it gets put in the house inventory and even if I take it out I cant put it in a book shelf or have a sim pick it up. I figured it was because maybe the exclusive version I was using since I already bought the submissive book, but switching to inclusive didnt change anything.

In case anyone has the same problem, you cant do any flirty fetish interactions (except brat apparently) unless both the sim your controlling and the sim you're interacting with has the correct opposing traits for some reason.

This is fun, but I wish there was an option to keep or dump the BDSiM bar.  It degrades in half a day, even if I do nothing. Sad face. Hopefully the next version will have it!

I was coming back to mention it as well. The bar goes down over time for some reason, and its hard to get back up. I seem to spend more time trying to keep the BDSiM bar up than actually enjoying any flirty fetishes. There's only a handful of options to pick from, and ya cant do them more than once or twice before you get punished for it. Maybe if the interactions were buffed quite significantly it would fix the problem. Something more akin to eating when you get hungry, thats how much it should refill IMO.

To improve the BDSiM meter tho, I'd suggest that it goes up over time... not down. That and jogging or doing cloud and star gazing would also make it go up over time. For some reason it doesnt for me, even tho it says it should. Maybe it goes up a tiny bit at first? But it just goes right back down over the time of doing these interactions. I'd add going to sleep should also make it go up. If not, then when it drains all the way down it should automatically fill up all the way after the timer hits 0, since it suggests by the description of the mood that it should be only temporary. I struggled to get it back up when it hit this low, and am unsure what I was supposed to do to fill it back up.

If those suggestions were included, then I think it would make the mod much better. If those suggestions were ignored, maybe instead we should lower the penalty moodlets for it being low. It's fairly OP.

 

Other than that, I still think its odd you can only perform most interactions if the target sim has the opposing/reciprocating trait. Ya should be able to do at least some of them to any sim, even if its not always reacted to positively. Oh, as an aside, it seems impossible to que up a few aftercare options as they get canceled after the first one for some reason~

I've really loved this mod and i like the dynamics it adds to sims a lot, but the bdsim bar constantly depleting and replacing the hygeine bar kind of ruins it for me. Im probably going to try to revert to the previous version or uninstall becuase its honestly not a fun mechanic how it is now. I cant even jog to meet the need because the negative moodlets make my sim too uncomfortable to jog, my sim will shower indefinitely, and it makes it so that you have to focus on keeping that bar up constantly. I honestly think it should be removed or at least made optional. Please make a version without this or make it optional, i really liked this mod before but its kind of taking all the fun out of sims for me right now. I guess if i have to use this version for compatibility ill have to remove all BDSM traits from any sims i want to play unless BDSM is going to be pretty much all they do. I think this mod is great and youve done great work on it but honestly i think this BDSIM bar is a misstep. I liked this mod because it gave you more freedom to play sims how you want, but now it feels like its railroading you and forcing you to make the mod your main focus when playing

You might find Kritical's Dreams of Surrender more enjoyable, i do now sadly, as i also liked Flirty Fetishes previous versions.

Please, please, please, give the option to make the bdsim bar optional. As other people said, it makes it bdsm the only activity mi sim can perform and getting it back up is a cerntainly a challenge. I'd rather make it a moodlet that changes overtime or something. I love the mod, the previous version made me fall in love with it. I updated today and the books don't work and I can't do anything that isn't bdsim related. Please I understand the books thing is a bug that will get resolved, but make the bar optional or find anothder way to implement it that isn't as "invasive", getting infinite showers and baths gets annoying as well.

Ps: I know I sound negative but it's just because I loved the mod and the concept behind it, thank you so much for your work.

The issue with reading and purchasing the book was due to the missing Object Tuning data in the package.

After importing the book data into the package, I confirmed that the bug issue was resolved.

Hello i have a problem i cant read the books to gain more capacity but that i could change in the cheat menu, but i cant collar my slave i dont have the option to do it when i do the ceremony

sadly, I think I'm going to have to drop this mod for awhile. I love it and have used it extensively since I first downloaded wickedwhims, but with the BDSIM bar draining so quickly I can't enjoy the mod. my Sim has to jog constantly, one encounter will drain them a bunch, and even outside of sex it drains all the time even if they're just watching tv. the aftercare options seem to do next to nothing to refill it either, jogging is the only option. the endless showers/baths are mildly annoying, but the real issue is the bar. I wish we could either choose to not have the bar (though I like the idea behind it a lot) or choose to adjust the drain rate, especially since my Sim is in a sex worker career and often needs to have sex multiple times a day. I will absolutely be coming back to this mod if the bar is adjusted to make it less overpowering to gameplay, really love this mod and have for ages, this is the first time I've had an issue with it

I just desinstaled this mod, for that same reason. Every sim interested in D/S dinamic was unhappy and crashing all the time. There are more things to do during the day! It needs to be more balanced.

Awesome mod! Just have one question - I accidentally gave this reward trait via the testing cheats add / remove ability. And now... every Sim has it. I have tried to remove the trait with my characters, but it seems they are there to stay. What do I do now?

Hey soo I'm having the hygiene bar issue as well, is that a bug or a feature? cause it's really bugging me, i have just started playing with the mod and even though i loved the concept I'm having a really hard time with playing since the bar goes down so much, the interactions are very limited and I think I have to start an event to access more?? Idk, I think it could be a little more friendly to new players is all I wanted to say, regardless, thank you for making the mod, I'll continue using it before I judge it completely

Sadly, I did the same. I love the idea of this mod and commend the creator for the effort, but that BDSiM bar is a deal breaker for me. (in its current form.)

A single, non-sexual D/s interaction resulted in days of sobbing and sadness. I understand the notion of sub drop and think I see what the author was going for, but if my partner was reduced to days of weeping after one brief D/s play, I would suspect either our relationship was fundamentally unhealthy or that she was using D/s to mask some deeper psychological trauma.

If you want to continue enjoying this mod the way it was, I still use the March 31, 2024 version. No UI issues. Cannot say with full certainty it is 100% stable (given we have had many game updates since then), but I get no Exception Errors, and social/trait interactions work fine. 

 

I do not know where you can get it, but the file name as I show reads as "EllaNoir_FlirtyFetishesBDSiM_March_3.31"

Perhaps it's not entirely fair to say it's been "tossed aside." (Unless you know something I don't. Quite possible.) It's only been a few weeks since she published the latest update in March. Give it some time. Her work on this is nothing short of amazing. It's truly a fantastic mod, with the singular exception of the BDSiM meter mechanics. I'm confident she will take on board the feedback she's gotten and address it with an update when she can.

 

This is after all a script file adding gameplay features, not merely a package file such as an item or object. So, I'd imagine that kind of thing takes a bit of time.
