In Short. No Nothing there should have any real effect on your fps. High Quality textures, ENB, HDT-SMP (or a poorly configured HDT-SMP set up but don't ask me how to configure one properly) I would say are generally the main culprits for FPS loss in an SE game. At least from what I see in the threads. I don't even think High Poly models have much effect.
Heroine HoneyCrotch Posted May 17, 2021 Posted May 17, 2021 I'm gonna say no. Cutting down on stuff that renders into game like npc's with ai, too many npcs with lewd clothing,I dont use any non sl scripted mods like frostfall, or wet and cold. I dont go too heavy with texture mods, mostly 1k stuff with some 2k,no 4k. On my end the only thing that slows my rig down is going into populated area likes towns especially areas touched by etac(a lot assets to render) Running your textures through a texture optimizer isnt bad idea, I think general idea is that wont help fps but It seemed like my game ran a pinch smoother after doing it and is good overall idea.
Inajira Posted May 17, 2021 Posted May 17, 2021 None of those mods you listed is going to have any effect on your FPS, specifically. Having less mods reduces the chance of crashes, that's all one can say for sure. Why do you worry about sex mods specifically?

Sex mods just when I need some...inmmersion ? I though my problem was for sex mods and scripts. II'm having low framerate in combat. I'm testing. I usually just play with 1k textures. My pc: rx 570 4gb + ryzen 5 2600 + 24 gb ram

What texture optimizer I must to try? I don't want to become my game in a sex simulator. I'm more focus on combat. 90% combat, textures and 10% lew mods. I'm having low frame rates in combat so I though was something related with sos or sex mods. The only AI combat that I'm using is wildcat + deflection + mortal enemies

I'm having low framerates in combat.

Because that only applies to crashes during loading times and can be totally ignored by using animation loading crash fix or similar fixes (specified in the FNIS description). 1 hour ago, urbon said: I'm having low framerates in combat. How low? What's your average FPS? Which kind of combats do you have? How many actors are involved? Any other mods doing things on the back? AI combat mods shouldn't cause performance impact because these only change already existing behaviors like combat styles and other values like reach/movement. You would need to be using something like locational damage for combat to take a noticeable performance hit. Sex mods, for the most part, work only when the SL event is called, so it shouldn't affect things in combat or other instances. At least I don't see any potential offender in the mods you're listing. But if you're unsure you can always test it yourself. Create a new profile/save with some mods disable and try different scenarios /running around, walking on cities, fighting in a dungeon, fighting out in the open, etc.) and measure the FPS in there.

Thank you so much dude. Yeah I got that from fnis. I didn't knew that about the .dll. About my combats mods. I'm just using deflection + wildcat + skysa + mortal enemies. Basic stuff. My regular fps are between 50-88 because I'm using sse display tweaks. But when I'm fighting with 3 npcs my fps just drop between 30-40 or 50 if is just an one npc. I'm using rudy enb. Yeah I know rudy is heavy (I tweak some values) but the funny thing about that is the only good enb that keep me with nice fps and aesthetic. lol. But even if I disable the enb the framerate still drop in combat.

Look: Do you have an idea about what is creating those issues? Is not about combat mods...it's something else.
sofzx Posted May 18, 2021 Author Posted May 18, 2021 Can be something related with the weathers? I'm using cathedral weathers.

My pc: rx 570 4gb + ryzen 5 2600 + 24 gb ram I recommend you create a test character with no mods enabled, and see what your framerates are then. If there's no difference then your mods aren't the problem. If there is a difference, then selectively enable some mods and test again, That way you can isolate what mod(s) are causing the drop.
Just Don't Posted May 18, 2021 Posted May 18, 2021 Uh in most screenshots you're looking at open spaces with distant terrain I see ~40 FPS. When you look closer to your character/the floor you get around 60. That's "normal", there are more things to render at the same time and this game isn't famous for its optimization. I guess your FPS are quite well in interiors, right? If you have the chance of starting a new game without mods (aka with mod managers like Vortex or MO2 where you can quickly create a new profile/game with no active mods) you'll be able to tell if it's something in the mods you're using or just your system struggling. You could try with/without texture mods to see if there is any performance difference.
