[REL] BAMM! Bodyslide Armor Merge Mod.

Recommended Posts

If anyone is interested, I'm putting up a modified version of the BAMMv1.3.1 esp with a portable forge and all the BAMM outfits linked to it. The forge can be crafted at a regular forge under the dwarven category (requires 1 grand soul gem, 1 dynamo core, 2 dwarven ingots, 2 dwarven gears, and 4 dwarven cogs) and is a miscellaneous item usable from within the inventory. One of the functions (IsSwimming()) in the forge's script requires SKSE, so you'll need that.

Also tossing up my retex of Gatti's Jewelry outfit for shits n' giggles. I love the outfit and wish I had the modeling skills to make my own, but the textures leave a bit to be desired, which I can at least try to do something about. No screenshots, but have a texture comparison:

Thanks, and thanks to

For BAMM, I never realized how useful bodyslide was, it is indeed the best.

Once you slide, you never stop? xD

makes every body-shape mod obsolete.

the Gatti jewelry retex is awesome, thx for sharing Pandaman.

You need to PM a mod on Nexus about it being hidden. Whoever did it's probably long forgotten about it by now and it's not like any other mod is going to stumble upon it and review the case. Just PM one of the more agreeable mods like budda or LHammond and explain that you got permission for all of it to your knowledge and you're wondering why it's under moderation. Include quotes of all the permissions being granted from people since that'll probably speed up the process. If nothing else they'll tell you why it's under moderation.

Oh and you should definitely just set up a torrent for files of this size rather than all these various host mirrors. It's a lot easier. If you end up doing that throw me a PM and let me know, I'll throw it on my seedbox for you.

Oh and you should put out a version that's just the bodyslide information for those of us that don't quite want the whole package but want to bodyslide some of the armor sets featured.

edit: btw, is it possible to disable the BBP jiggle on an armor with bodyslide? Some I like it on, but others like the Sovngarde Steel is just bad. I mean, it's a plate of freakin' solid steel... it can't jiggle!

edit: as a possible cause: "We have found mod compilations to not be a good idea and have banned them here." from bben46 here. It's not about BAMM but it might be why the mod got taken down even with permissions.

Thank you for the great work.

I am wondering if I can have your permission to rename the armor and upload the new esp on nexus. I might also split the files into four esp's. Unique, Heavy, Light, Cloth. Though splitting esp sounds a pain as I am new to this.

You install one or the other, the filefactory and mediafire links are mirrors, except the mediafire one got split into two parts due to file size limits.

Can someone help out. A lot of the armor does not seem to have bounce or at least I am unable to see it. Almost all the armor the covers the breasts seem to lack bounce (Nord Armor etc). Anyone have a gif with spriggan armor bouncing.

Also can someone give me an exact guide on how I do all BAMM! armor at the same time. Not sure if I am doing things correctly. Right now I do one by one as if I try batch it seems to not work. So I select C++ Nalim and then my preset and then build and so on and so forth.

Oh for the love of... permissions? Bethesda owns all works created by the creation kit (which is, as far as I am aware, pretty much standard in the gaming industry for any modding tools) - therefore no permissions are required from mod creators, they signed all rights of ownership to Bethesda by using the creation kit.

Bodyslide files and user created meshes have nothing to do with anything Bethesda's done.

Can someone provide another link to part one?

I tried to download it but it just spammed me with useless software installs and when I got the achieve it was empty

To be fair, if you read what bben says it's not about permissions.

Mod authors actually like to get credit for their mods. One important measure of credit is the number of downloads. ONLY the uploader - in this case the person who made the compilation gets credit for the download while the people who actually did the work of creating the mods get nothing. pinch.gif

Just saying in the description that they are giving credit does not actually give anything more than lip service to the actual credit. That's like your employer saying "You did a great job, but I'm just going to say you get credit instead of paying you." This is why so many modders refuse to give permission for their mods to be used in compilations.

In order for BAMM to avoid Nexus moderation it needs to provide the .esp and bodyslide files only, but require people to go download the mesh/texture assets from the contributing mods' pages.

Thanks for this mod.  It's a lot of hard work.  I may have to open them in Creation Kit though,  as the armors have much lower stats than the ones I can smith.
