yep they where missing for years, there is a doc file in the download. each armor got a little note

Well, I did some digging and found the fixed version of the armor set (the original had problems with the gloves/boots not showing, if I remember right) - so if anyone wants to use them, they can install this set (it won't affect anything in the BAMM version) - and give themselves the gloves/boots from that set.

They're not Bodyslide-ready, obviously, but they'll do fine if you havn't tweaked too much over the hands/feet.

I know I'm mucking something up but I'm getting purple meshes for the two see-through chainmail Nordic armor variants. What am I doing wrong? The textures seem to be where they're supposed to be (textures/armor/TGLNordArmor).

Noticed a possible texture error on the Silver-night armor, not sure if just error on my end or not:

hey

dwjlien ,

did anyone from nexus told you what happened? btw. do you have plans on updating this mod here?

Posted

Well I didn't want to piss anyone off, really didn't, it's real disappointing to me that what I thought would be  nice for the community has obviously upset someone.

I personally would not want keep maintaining and uploading it against the wishes of someone who'd created some of the work.

-I genuinely am a fan, and having no talent myself admire greatly each piece, and I believe it's counter productive for the community to host something against an authours wishes (when it is available legitamately elsewhere).

If  you piss off the hand that feeds you - thery're not gonna make armours anymore :P Which defeats the entire point of Bamm - I simply wanted it to highlight the great work of the original authours, give the pieces some much deserved spotlight.

A shame.  I'd love to continue Bamm, and theoretically can still pump out an .esp with the merges, and just point people in the right direction for any new textures and meshes that emerge, that's the only way I'd want to continue it; if an an actual creator has objected. Don't care what anyone else does with it though, feel free :)

And yes it goes without saying I'm utterly cluess as to what's happening on the Nexus front, I don't know what's happening or why.

This is what I have and a totally different issue

You may have been 1 of 14 people who downlaoded the very 1st Bamm I put up, as a test on the Nexus while I worked out  how  to edit description pages, and pack it for NMM etc.  The real Bamm release was on a wholly different page.

http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/35485//? <- actual Bamm.

Well, the tricky part is that with the Nexus not giving you any details on your own files being under moderation (if they still havn't told you anything by now) is that it's impossible to tell if you've even rubbed anyone the wrong way or not.

From what I understand, it's not all that uncommon for files to be put under moderation simply because they're suspected to perhaps lack permissions - and not because any actual complaint was filed. I suspect the finicky nature of copyright in relation to content like mods and the sheer size of the Nexus site have something to do with it.

That said! It's a bit late to the party, but I absolutely adore you for this project. Ever since Bodyslide was released, it's been a real pain tracking down every single armor that's been ported for it; because a new one could pop up anywhere! And why use any other body mod when I can create exactly the body I want?

BAMM was exactly the answer I'd been hoping for. :)

Just a bit of speculation here, but I remember in your Nexus description you had a clause that basically went "If you are a modder and I haven't contacted you regarding one of the included mods, please contact me"; it's possible a Nexus mod just assumed you didn't have permission based on that statement and locked BAMM even without any complaints. Would certainly be nce if someone at Nexus actually replied to you though.

Continuing BAMM as a merged esp/cb++ preset collection seems like a good option, but I can imagine you're going to get a lot more tech help requests going that route ;)

The Slider works fine, however not a single Armor is on the skinning rack. I need help

if the sliders works with you, CB++ is installed correctly. if u have no armors to smith at your tanning rack try this to find out more about your issue:

type one of these in console modi:

help tera 0
help dandelion 0

if there is no code returning and a missing parameter repeat of the skyrim script, you might not actually installed BAMM. Normaly you might get return of the armor names and codes, but it might not show up if your tanning rack shows no armors to create. i can't realy imagine how a half may be installed and the other half is, though it's one file whoes implementing it all.

Have you installed BAMM via NexusModManager even if downloaded from the non-nexus source?

Posted

Hi dwjlien, will you continue your project BAMM? there are plenty new armors with slidersets ot there with download sources all over the planet with needed to combine in one file :)
