I find it strange how it's always the RE games that have this issue. Most other games have freely available mods with a few paid ones. RE is always 90% paid with nonstop bickering over it. I wonder what it is that causes that particular choice when it comes to these games.

Its probably because RE and the Mod-Creators are Asian and they have more of a Pay2Win Culture. In the West people more likely just upload it to Nexus to get some attention. And it makes less sense to try to become a full-time Modmaker in the West unless you are either doing something very popular or live in a very poor Country.

Still don't quite fully understand a paywall. It is stupid to begin with, Sure you can make like .003% income but that is like having 99.997% of the population never knowing, having, or even caring, which makes you even less.    :?

 

I know people want money blah blah blah, almighty dollar bs, blah blah blah,  but It isn't like you can make a Semi Half nude version post it free, then do your gay paywall crap with the full version, which does all the time. I have supported a bunch of non paid mods before, but now I don't quite do as much as I did since I have just run into more and more paywalls.

The part that irks me the most is that the available mod for Lady Dimitrescu is seemingly just the same body as his Jill mod. Just made taller with bigger tits strapped on. The proportions don't even match the subject =P Is it better than nothing? Absolutely. But hardly worth paying for a rehash imo. I'm still holding out for someone to do her some justice with a legitimate mod, paid or not.

Some people think that because X number of people downloaded the mod those same people would be willing to pay for it which is totally wrong. Just like piracy doesn't always mean the company will lose money money,  people aren't willing to pay for certain things. People putting DRMs over mods or games makes me think they're insecure about their work and don't believe people are willing to pay for what they're putting out.

Kinda true. And for reference, there's a guy working on a RE4 HD mod and is taking donations instead of paywalling. Makes thousands of dollars. That's how you do it

What exactly isn't lore friendly about this one? It has much better proportions and skin tone than the Aerosmith one.

Eh I have only bought like 1 mod actually, and now have all paid ones ;?  Just depends on how lazy you are. Now before anyone complains about me shitting on paid mods, I have no problem with supporting mod makers, but I DETEST paywalls.
