Its a Free to Play with a cash shop.. standard model for ftp games now a days

It early access ... But still worth a look. you can play thru all the content with out cash. the cash shop is most outfits and the nude skins... but there still a lot with out that

I was little wary of the gotcha side... but i found it fun to play and enjoyed it... you might as well

I, myself , dont mind throwing a few buck at a entertaining game. God knows i spent money on things i dont play at all anymore

Ok, someone probably did, I just haven't seen it.

 

As for this game I think the majority of recent reviews give a pretty good indication of the product, it's worth the original purchase cost but don't spend anymore on it.

game just have microtransaction to hell and back. without spend $, you almost look exactly same from begin to end.... oh wait you can buy head gear from ingame cash but that was it. 4 boss but only 1 boss need look like actual boss, 3 other boss just run in circle and cast spell, game do have parry but when you encircle by more than 10 creep or more then that just pure trash. game just too short, it only little longer because union boss are strong so you have to go back to farm gear and skill to kill. and after kill union there are nothing left to do

I tried it when it released to public and it was disappointing.
Gameplay was a bit sluggish, tutorial wasn't the best.
At that time the game had like 20 hair styles avaliable for free and 40+ to be purchased.
The customization was something close 20% for free and 80% paid. And only one costume available for free.
It also had an stamina system and all kind of micro transactions.
Lootboxes where you need to purchase keys to open them. Different lootbox which need different keys.
Battlepass and once again many other ways of micro transactions.
The nudity pack was at a price of $50,00 bucks. Which in my country would be something like R$280.
Anyway, after many complaints from players the devs decided to remove Stamina System and add another free costume.

Unfortunately the game is mostly Single Player and paywalled like heck.
Gameplay isn't the worse out there but it's sluggish.
The main selling point of this game was hot girls and customization however to get that you need to purchase stuff like costumes, hairstyles and "Cheat Mode" as said by the devs which unlock nudity, new sliders and other stuff.
The price is a bit aggressive for paid stuff and even more when it's a single player game.

Some people will say "Ah but it's a free game so they money and microtransactions are unavoidable."
While micro transactions in Free games are nothing new it's understandable however when it's aggressive and everywhere it's another story.
If you want to play for hot chicks there are a couple of SFW games out there in which you can mod the hell out of it. And even Online multiplayer games which with some caution and research you can find some nude mods that will work online.
Black Desert, Blade & Soul, Tera and a few others.

In conclusion.
The game is ok overall however devs are greedy and there is not enough content.
Customization is mostly behind a paywall which is quite overpriced.

These are my impressions, but it may or may not be different from yours.
You can play the game and have different opinion as well as agreeing or disagreeing with mine.

The game on a base level is absolutely horrible. I've never seen worse monetization is my almost 30 years of life. That being said, you can mitigate a lot of that using a custom assembly.dll that unlocks mostly all of the paywall for free. You may get banned eventually, but who cares? Its a free game. Does it make the game good? No. But it is better without the paywall. If you want to play this game then do yourself a favor and use the dll haha.

gameplay is shit, graphic is shit. main quest short, plot too stupid that i give up from try understand it. 90% skill broken and useless, and what they do on update ? they nerf 2 only working skill and add block system just to make game harder on grinding which is force player spend more time on game. so anything game have done good ? i only think of 2 thing

Lootboxes can be opened one of 3 ways.. premium currency...ie IRL $$ ... who does that?

or the easily gained in game loot keys.. or the shards also looted in game

As far as the Battle pass Wtf ?  it cant be unlocked with anything but earned in game shards

So no micro transaction at all there.

I don't think you quite understand the meaning of "Free To Play". Says it's free to play on Steam. "Free" is on thing. Means the game is entirely free. "Free to Play" means the main game is free to download and start playing, but half (or most) of the actual content is not free.

When I play Skyrim, Sims 4 or X-COM 2 I spend as much time putting together outfits for my characters as actually playing the game. I feel like League of Maidens doesn't scratch that itch. Even if I justified spending $60 on the microtransactions that would net me either 6 outfits, or 1 outfit and the nude pack. That's just not worth it compared to what I can get for free elsewhere. I think the biggest problem is there aren't compiling rewards to play this game.

 

As a thought experiment this is what I'd do if I were the developer...

Split up the outfits into at least 5 separate pieces of cosmetics: 
-Shoes
-Underwear
-Pants
-Bra
-Shirt

I'd then keep players engaged with an RPG style loot system that would look something like this: 
-Common: (Normal) Examples: Sneakers/Granny Panties/Jeans/Sports Bra/T-Shirt
-Uncommon: (Suggestive) Examples: Flats/Panties/Short-Shorts/Bra/Tank Top
-Rare: (Sexy) Examples: Boots/Thong/Mini-Skirt/Lace Bra/Tube Top
-Unique: (Lewd) Examples: High Heels/Sheer Thong/Garter Belt/Sheer Bra/Underboob Tank 
-Legendary: (OMFG) Examples: High High Heels/G-String/Strap-On/Pasties/Corset

To make money...

-Premium Paid Skins: (Nude) Examples: Barefoot/Shaved Pussy/Pubic Hair/Exposed Nipples/Nipple Piercings 

-Sell the game for $19.99 and include $5 of in-game currency. (That's how they get you.)

-Sell additional character slots.
-Sell boosters that'd increase your likelihood of earning rare gear.
-Sell skin sets ranging $5 for Common to Rare, $10 for Unique, $15 for Legendary, and as much as $50 for Premium. (Cosmetic only, no ptw here.)
-Sell a $15 monthly subscription that could include nudity, unlocked body sliders, and a $5 monthly in-store allowance. 

Sure, this model would probably lead to very few players spending actually money, but what else is new with FTP games? Some reports show only 2.2% of players actually spend money of FTP games anyway. If that's the case you want as many players playing your game as possible. 

None of this fixes the fact that the combat is pretty boring, but that hasn't stopped WoW. Anyway just curious if anyone else feels the same way.

The part you don't quite understand is there is no play occurring here. WildLife has more gameplay than this. Project Helius has more gameplay than this. Hell, Breeder of the Nephelym  has more gameplay than this and that "game" is a literal scam.

While true on the gameplay aspect, my point still stands. That's what "free to play" means. It means it's a game with a low amount of gameplay, most of the content is purchasable, and the game usually isn't that great anyway. If the game really isn't that great, how else is it going to make money? I'm not saying the game is good. I'm just saying that's what "free to play" means.

While this *can* be true, it's not for most f2p PC games. There are lots of mobile games out there that are f2p, but it's usually the kind where you have to wait a certain amount of time, or tap a thing a bunch, all to get an upgrade or costume of some sort. I'm just generalizing here. Not all f2p games are bad, but an insane amount of them are.

if you're playing this game and you want a cheap way to deal with loot boxes try this:

 

step 1: create a throw-away character

step 2: use the free loot box keys every new character gets until you run out (don't forget to sell EVERY item you can, the gold is account-wide)

step 3: delete trash toon

 

rinse, repeat.
