Neck Seam/Texture Mismatch

I just reinstalled my game to give BHUNP a try and it seems as though I have a texture mismatch resulting in a neck seam. Attached are pictures of my load order and the issue20210420191427_1.thumb.jpg.21786385aa6a6149892b33bde957bfce.jpg

What happens if you remove High Poly Head?

I mean, what you have is tipical missmatch of head and body textures and/or head or body mesh.

There are 4 parts. Head mesh, head textures, body mesh and body textures. One or more parts are not compatible.

I used the vanilla head and I still have a neck seam. I tried going for a new, clean install of Skyrim and only installing BHUNP along with its requirements and I still have a neck seam.

Maybe you can try to replace a skin texture to solve this problem. At the same time, it is suggested to use CBBE to better fit some normal maps of the skin. If you insist on using the unp body shape, maybe you need to use the pure skin texture to fit the normal map of the body shape in some cases. After all, the normal is compatible with the skin, In addition, it's not only the compatibility problem that will lead to this problem, but also the friend above prompts you to remove the high poly head mod, or you can find a suitable head

The name of the mod is Baka Huen UNP. Note the UNP part.

I'm sorry that I didn't see the contents of the list clearly. At that time, I personally thought that we should think about the issues related to race and beautification of body shape, instead of simply considering the compatibility of body shape

Sorry, English is not my native language, if it makes the communication content problematic

Well... push come shove, I suppose you could open the two textures in a photo editor like PS or Paint dot Net (or GIMP), then ferret out the averaged color of the seam area from each, figure the tone shift in RGB values (or CMYK if you prefer), and either subtract what's needed from the one or add that differential to the other.

maybe also check their specular maps. there could  be some disparity there that's causing a *perceived color shift.

From memory, BHUNP's included textures don't play well for races other than Nord and will produce that neck seam.

I ended up swapping to the (BH)UNP variant of Diamond Skin and for me it seemed to play a bit better but again, prior mentioned factors might affect how the textures look.
